Her parents were taking a break in a cave near by and she had bugged them to no end to take a look around. After so much bugging they finally had let her go, but not before promising not to go out of range of them. Nodding to what ever they said she started by looking around the outside of the cave. That was before a bird darted by and she had started after it. The bird was going from tree to tree and was getting farther and farther away from the cave. But this didn't cross the young pup's mind as she followed the bird. She was having to much fun at the moment to really think of where she was going. Only stopping when a feather fell to the ground from the bird above did she stop. Sniffing the feather before poking at it with her paw she laughs and takes it in her teeth. She just had to show this one to her father, he would just love it. Turning back thinking the cave was still within view she blinked. Maybe she had gone into the trees a little to far. So she started to trot back only to find she didn't know what way was back.

"Hyah! Yeeaaah! TAKE THAT!!"
Such shouts could be heard around where Kiske played... or practiced as he called it. Wildly, he clenched down on a sword with his teeth, swinging it around at invisible enemies around him. He hadn't a clue on how to use the thing really. But he sure pretended he could. And he figured if he kept it up, he'll learn a thing or two eventually.
He didn't just stay in one spot too; that pup ran around, slashing around at the air like he was fighting a whole army!
Because of this, and because of his inexperience, he wasn't really paying attention to where he was headed. And as a result, Kiske tripped over a root sticking up from the ground, causing him to drop his blade as well as to tumble forward. Luckily, or maybe unluckily, something soft and furry was nearby for him to roll into.

Pursom was freaking out so much that she didn't hear any sounds other then her heart beating. She had become lost but how? She just followed the bird past a few trees... Right? She eyes were looking everywhere trying to find something that looked familiar. But all the trees looked the same to her at this point.
Moving forward she didn't even seen the blur of color until she was hit. She didn't go far or anything but she did let go of her feather. Making a sound that sounded like a scream mixed with a cry she tried to get away from what ever it was that attacked her. But this just made her trip and fall backwards onto something warm.
"Please don't kill me! I'm to young! You can eat one of my brothers!!!" That was the first thing she thought of as she tried again to get away from the warm thing.

Dazed from the tumble, Kiske shook his head to himself as he sat on his rear, looking around to see where he was now. His sword was a foot or two behind him, and in front was another pup who seemed pretty freaked out.
"Why would I kill you? You're not one of my enemies! Besides...I don't think I can eat you.." he said while blinking. Had the girl really thought he could eat one of his own kind? Especially when she was his size?
"You might want to watch out for the floti though. I've been fighting them off all day!"
The floti were those invisible enemies he was 'fighting' moments before. He knew they weren't real, but right now it hadn't quite occured to him that this other pup might not know what he's talking about exactly.

Taking a moment to stop trying to get away from the thing that was tying to eat her, she looked and saw it was a pup like her. Blinking once before jumping back and bowing her head. "I'm so sorry! I thought you were something that was going to eat me!" She looked away.
Taking this time she saw the feather she had dropped. Sitting and using her tail to bring it closer she offered it to the other pup. "Here is a gift to show that I'm sorry." She was not sure if the gift was really enough for her freaking out.
Turning her head for a moment she looked around carefully. "Floti? Are they mean? Will they eat me? Because I don't think I would taste good... Will you keep me safe from them?"

"The Floti are really mean! They don't like pups like us. I don't think they'll eat you but they're big bullies!"
After he said that, Kiske looked around as if trying to see if any of them where nearby. Once he saw there were no threats about, he turned back to the female pup.
"And sure I'll protect you! I'm still learning how to fight but the Floti aren't too hard to beat. They're just... tricky," he said with a nod before tilting his head, "What's your name by the way?"

"Oh I don't like bullies!" She squeaked and looked around trying to see if anything was lurking behind her. Looking back at the other pup she dropped her ears. "Oh, I'm so sorry! I'm Pursom." She bowed her head to him and felt bad for not telling her name to him before. "I should have told you my name before. And thank you for what you will do to protect me. I hope it is not out of your way or something."

Nodding to Pursom, Kiske walked over to where he had dropped his sword. He couldn't pick it up quite yet since he had a few more things to say.
"And I'm Kiske! No problem though. Fighting the Floti is something I do! So keeping a fellow pup safe from them is definitely a good thing... where do you come from by the way?"
After asking this, he grabbed the hilt of the sword with his mouth and lifted up the weapon. He glanced around momentarily as if ready to fight, but soon relaxed as he didn't spot these invisible monsters he knew of.

Pursom half followed after the other pup to where his sword was. "Well... My parents are in a cave with my siblings... I was playing by the cave and.. Well a bird went over head and I only followed it past a few trees..." She looked around for a moment and dropped her ears. "But I don't know where the cave is any more and and." She started to cry. "What If I get attacked by the bullies and I can't find my family! I know you will keep me safe but what if something else comes!"

Tilting his head lightly at Pursom, Kiske placed the sword back onto the ground so that he could speak clearly.
"Oooh... hm.. maybe I can help you find it? What do your siblings and your home look like?" he started before puffing out his chest and sitting tall "Don't worry! If anything comes our way I'll be sure to fight them off!! No one can stand against my blade!"
With that said, he made a 'fiercesome' growl while lowering his upper body towards the ground like he was about to pounce. Then with a grin, he straightened up and nodded.

Pursom tried to stop crying and nodded to the pup. "They are red. I'm from a red family. The cave we are in... Well there is a small clearing infront of it that we normally play in." She looked around for a moment and took a deep breath to calm herself down. "Both of my parents are elders, so they shouldn't be to hard to see, because they are so big." She was trying her best to remember everything in her fear." She watched the other pup show that nothing would get past him and smiled. "Thank you again for all of this. Where is your family? Are they near by?"

Nodding back to Pursom, Kiske then frowned a bit, shifting slightly as the subject of his own family was brought up. It wasn't something he really wanted to talk about so it took him several moments to think of what he should say.
"Er... well... No they aren't..." he mumbled before shaking his head and looking back up at the other pup "But.. but it doesn't matter! I can keep us both safe from anything that comes our way!"
With that said, he grinned weakly, hoping she wouldn't question it.
"Anyway lets get going! Which way did you come by the way? we should probably start going the other way from that."

"Well umm." She looked around for a moment. "I can't remember... After you ran into me I'm not sure any more." She looked away mad at herself. "But I think it is that way..." She pointed trying to remember if the trees over there looked familiar or not. But to be honest all the trees looked the same to her at the moment.

For a moment, Kiske stared at the girl, wondering where it was she came from exactly. At the same time he was trying to think of a way they might be able to find her family. There was only one thing he could think of right now that may actually work for them. Though it would depend on how good Pursom's nose was.
"Hm... maybe try sniffing your tracks? It kinda works sometime for me. "

Pursom blink for a moment and turned her head a little. "Sniffing my tracks?" She sniffed the air for a moment. "Maybe that will work, it sounds like a better idea then wandering around crying." She was hating herself now because she has become lost. Slowly sniffing the ground around herself she tried to find her own scent but was having a hard time. "Maybe it would be easier if you did it?" She was having no luck at the moment.
