Well, let me just start off on what inspiration can be. Even though there's a intro to this subforum. Anything can give you inspiration; a person in your life, someone on TV or the movies, a video game, and even some stain that you found on the wall of your room one day. (No, this isn't my inspiration muse. biggrin ) If some of you people out there reading this don't know how inspiration comes, it just does. Your brain just starts thinking up a scenario in your head that you must put on paper. Rather if it's drawings or writing, inspiration works the same way. smile

Since I expressed my feelings now. Here's my list of muses.
People In My Life:
1. My best friend, Tyler.
He was always there for me. I always wrote some funny and happy poems with him by my side. He was a poet as well, so I would try my best to impress him. Tyler was a funny guy and I felt comfortable around him. (I miss you where ever you are now. heart )
2. My dad.
He's always there for and even gives me some good reasons to create some of my poetry.
3. My other best friend, Jennifer.
She was always coming up with great ideas when we hung out together. Her poems were usually long epic poems, that were filled with the fellings of melancholy and past memories. I wrote some of my more darker toned poems because of her perspective on poems.

Celebrities:
1. Host of "The Colbert Report", Stephen Colbert.
I watched Stephen during his coverage of the 2008 presidential election. He was so funny, that I had to watch his show. His charming, witty, self-centered personality grew to me and ideas instantly float in my head whenever I watch his show. They are usually fanfictions about his relationship with Jon Stewart. But, I have even thought of some poems about him and made some on paper (and my portable notebook, my iPod Touch).

Activities to make my brain work up it's gears:
1. A drive in the car.
That always works for me. Since I live very far away from my town, I can think about a lot of stuff when I'm staring my window. I just have to look out at the horizon and visions will come to me.
2. Listening to my music.
This is a great way to get inspiration. (If you don't get your idea, you can just fall asleep with your mp3 player, iPod, etc. biggrin ) No seriously, it is good. Sometimes, songs can help you organize your cluttered brain and look for an idea. You see, I can get my muse from a line in the song or even the title of the song. (Yet, I'm a music freak. So, I dunno if it will do the same things for you.)
