The music shop was an intriguing-looking place from the outside. Its windows were full of bright plastic bongos and little child-sized flutes, as well as guitars and trumpets for older kids and adults. Behind all of these was a sleeping child, a boy with a bright blue jewel on his forehead that sparkled in the sunlight. His head rested on his arms, and he was seated bonelessly on a cushioned stool that matched the expensive drum kit behind him. His father was in the back, giving a small group of kids their first guitar lesson.

Morissette and Marcy walked into the music shop. Marcy looked around " This place is so much better then your music shop More" Marcy said with wide eyes and awww. Morissette couldn't help but a agree , he didn't like working for the "Mystic Fruit Music Shop" but it was so close to Gabriel's farm and the shopping centers in Aekea he really had no choice. " Now we're hoping they have a resale policy here Mar , so I want you to look around and find anything for kids that has the Organic markings , You do know what to look for right" he looked at her with a half smile. " Yes sir , Im looking for 'None plastic' , made with wood or shell, if its metal I need to make sure it has no plastic added into it and nothing made from animals". Morissette smiled " Good job little one" he patted her little beehive hair " Now most of all find stuff that you would want" he went to look for someone on duty.
Marcy wanted alot of different things for the Mystic Fruit but she kept her comments to herself. She moved around the store when she saw some bongos by the window. When she got there she saw they where all plastic. She picked up a flute , she couldn't find a tag to tell her information on it , so she looked inside it for plastic lining. She didn't have a good grip on it and it hit the floor. It rolled then whacked into a stool. She ran over to grab it. She bent down and when she got back up she saw a boy on the stool. She got startled and "eeaped". She hadn't noticed him at first.
Hoping the boy didn't hear her she turned around, then a flash came to her. She saw the laboratory she once lived in , she thought of all the people she once knew. She kept walking but she felt a strong connection to this boy. She held the flute tight in her hand this time.

Ford hadn't really heard the flute hit his stool, but he had felt it. His eyes blinked open and he stretched before smoothing his hands over the front of his panda shirt. It was his favorite, but it always seemed wrinkled. Perhaps it was because he slept so much. He yawned and turned toward the redhead.
"Hey," he said softly. He didn't know who she was or what she wanted the flute for, so he had nothing else to say.
A large man dressed in nicer clothing than was probably necessary shuffled out from the back of the store. He wasn't Ford's dad, but he was a family friend. "Can I help you?" he asked Morissette with a smile.

She hurd his voice " Ohh noo oohh noooo oooohhhh" bad thoughts filled her mind. Her wing flung open , she turned around quicly " I am soo sorry , I should of let you sleep , its just well ummm you see I dropped this flute ... Ohh well its not broken .. its just umm oo gosh Im so sorry" she felt like she was going to cry she felt so bad for waking him up.
Morissette looked at the man " he doesn't look like a music shop man" he thought in his head. Then again everyone in his shop was really skinny and smelt bad. "You woudn't happen to have a resale policy here" Morissette dug in his pant pockets for his business card and information.

Ford tilted his head at the girl, looking between her face, her wing and the flute she held. "'ts okay," he said. He slid off of the stool, stretching his arms above his head for a second. "Where's your wing?" he asked, not aware that people could have only one.
"Sure we do," Lars, the shopowner, said. Truthfully, he just sold the things. The customer was always right though, so if this guy wanted a resale policy, he could have a resale policy, whatever that was. He reached out for the business card.

Aww things where good Marcy could get a little jumpy but came right down from her panic attack " I was born with just one wing and one leg" She moved her prosthetic leg around. " Not sure why?" she shrug. "So why where you sleeping here" she looked around for parents " is that your dad?" She pointed to the nicly dresed man.
Morissette waited for the man to hand him papers , when it took longer then he expected he said " I plan on buying then selling the items in the music shop I work for over in east Aekea. All I need is constent ". More didn't want to say the shops name since it could bring up bad conversation soo he didn't he would let the man read it insted.

"Oh," Ford said. A small part of him wanted to ask more about her leg, maybe even poke it to see if it was hollow, but laziness and indifference had too strong of a hold on the boy's whims. He shook his head. "Nah, my da's playin' guitar with some kids. Teachin'em. In the back." He indicated the door to the back room with a boneless wave of his hand. "I'm jus' waitin'."
Lars' mouth made a little 'o' but unlike when Ford did the same, no sound came out. "Yeah, that I can do," he said, smiling. He looked at the little card. "Nice place." Why he wasn't concerned that someone else was going to be getting business he could have in his own store was anyone's guess, but Lars was sure to have his reasons. "Is verbal consent enough, or should I send some paperwork over to you guys?" He reached behind the counter and pulled out a toothpick, sticking it in the vicinity of his canines.

Macry with a wide eyed grin smiled at the boy. " I love music" she put back the flute she was holding. " You seem so sleepy , why are you sleepy?" She moved closer to the boy then nudged her right elbow with his left elbow. " I love your jewel on your head , is it part of you or is it something you like to put on".
"All you need to do is sign this paper saying you know that I'm going to sell your product in our store "Morissette pulled out a paper from his bag "Im going to take peek around the shop , so just take a quick look at it" he patted the desk and walked off. He went into the acoustic area. "Nice shop" he thought to himself and chuckled a bit.

Ford shrugged. "Dunno." He smiled a bit and looked down at his hands as Marcy approached. Happy people made Ford happy, even if he wasn't the most outwardly happy kid there was. He poked at his forehead jewel. "Da says it's how I eat." He rubbed at it harder. "I dun think it comes off." Honestly, he had just taken his father's word on the whole eating thing. The jewel had never intrigued him enough to try to pry off.
"Will do." Lars picked up a pen from beside the cash register and swooped his crazily outlandish signature over the paper without looking down at it. Instead his eyes stayed on Morissette. What a strange young man.

She watched him poke at the jewel " I think its stuck on you" she giggled. She saw the door Ford pointed at. Then she looked at the door next to her. "Whats this door for Ford" It was slightly opened by a door holder. She moved the door opened and went in.

Ford nodded and grinned. "Yeah. Guess so." He looked around, more awake now that he was standing out of the sunlight that streamed in through the shop's window. "Hey, hey!" he whispered as she slipped through the door. He cast a furtive glance over at Lars to make sure he wasn't watching, then followed Marcy.

Marcy noticed a decline then some stairs leading down to another door. They where wooden like in a old scary movie. She stepped down one , when she saw Ford enter. "This is spooky Ford" She giggled " I love it" She inched down each step slowly taking in the moment.
She remembered her dad giving her a flashlight necklace, she didn't have it on but she might of had it in her pocket. She was wearing green overalls and a white shirt under it.
She felt the flashlight in her big overall pocket. She took it out and used it. "Wow this place is even more creepy then I thought" she let out a laugh. She went down the last step and went around the steps. "Wow ford your soo lucky to be able to hang out in such a cool place" She found a big tiki drum cut out that they must of used during Halloween.

"Y... yeah," Ford said, inching up behind Marcy, trying to get as close as he could without trampling the poor girl. He had only just met her and he didn't want her to know he was a little bit scared. He might be used to coming to this place while his father taught music, but he had never been in this part of the shop. Ford wasn't one for exploring when there was sleeping to be done.
Next to the tiki drum was a paper mask with a length of elastic tied on either side of the face. Ford picked it up and pulled it on. At least now he could convince himself that any monsters hiding in the shadows would think twice about attacking him.

Marcy was looking at the print on the tiki drum cut out and wasn't watching Ford " Can you rea..." she turned to look at him " Eeeak" she let out a sort of squeal, then she realized it was a mask on Fords face. " You scared me Mr" she gave a playful tap on his shoulder.
"So are you my protector Mr.Monster from the evil creatures in this dark cave" She looked around in a playful manner. "We must keep moving forward if we will ever find the ... the.... the... golden goose." she said.
In a blink of an eye the basement/ storage room become a dark and scary cave. Marcy flashed the light on the near by door. " we must move this boulder out of the way Mr.Monster so we can continue on" . She made a head movement so Ford would know to open the door.

Ford smiled to himself and let out a faint huff of air that might have been a laugh if he had put more force behind it. As it was, he wasn't laughing at Marcy, he was laughing at the fact that he really wasn't scared anymore. Plus, he was Mr. Monster now!
He nodded and inched forward, making quite a show of opening the door as if it was the giant boulder Marcy claimed. "It's moved, Lady... Sparkle." Pray that Sander never let the spawn name his own pets.
