The mountains stood proudly over the blanket of the forest with their snow capped tips gleaming under the merciless beating of the sun. A small blue dot moves down the mountain deftly, looking like it is perfectly at home right there while skipping over the rocks and heavy snow like it is just thin layer of grass and pebbles. But closer up, a graceful mare made her way down the mountains so she could visit the relatives that couldn't stomach the mountain's lifestyle on the grounds. From her appearance, she doesn't look very old but she is a great-great-great-great (and so on forth) grandmother with probably more relatives on the way.
With a flick of her snow white tail, she bid the mountains farewell and moves toward the open meadow to see if she could hunt down any of her family relatives or meet some new soquilis. Her familiar Chitokae trails behind her like a loyal guarddog but the second he smells the food, he disappears into the neighboring forest to hunt. Her pale blue eyes looks up at the skies, spotting her grandson Montego, granddaughter Snow Jewel and great-granddaughter Romance soaring above her. With a huge smile, she whinnied her greeting to them as she took off galloping across the meadow to meet her relatives.

Serenity: *This white stuff in her mountain, what was it, she wasn't sure, but she didn't like it, well she didn't hate it either, I mean it was something so very new to her, but that cold that greeted her with each step made her shiver. Still it was early morning and she was out and about in a rather adventurous mood, alone as always, for she had no friends, yet.
In her mind she had her adventure a stick in her mouth as she pretended to fight off the evil doers of the mountain. Then the black birds, those creepy things cawed at her and she was off in a dash, as if that caw was the starting sound for the race in her mind.* I will defeat you! *She said to her invisible friend who was playing the villain. It was all fun until she found herself at the bottom of the mountains, feeling rather isolated and lost.
How'd she get so far from home? Her thick hide gave a shiver as eyes flickered about and then she heard a sound. One she'd never heard before it lit up the sky with it's voice and she trembled, she'd never heard a sound like that and she didn't know where it came from it seemed to echo from the trees. She'd heard her two legger mother warn her of the dangers of the mountains having told the filly to be careful, not that Tewa actually knew if the filly could understand or not, but she had felt the need to tell her, and it was those echoing words in her mind that made her heart race.*
h-hello? *She said to the woods about her, but no sound but her own echo greeted her.*

Frosta swore she heard a filly playing by herself or with someone in the forest and she skids to stop near the forest to listen to see if the filly is with an adult or a foal. But whenever the foal shouted out something, there is no response except for the crows cawing which is usually not a good sign because whenever crows is around , that means they are waiting for something to die. She finally spot a glimmer of white and brown in a small clearance and she could hear that the filly is utterly alone and is afraid.
"Helloooo!!" Frosta's maternal voice calls out with a tint of laughter and worry in it. "Can you walk toward my sound, little one?" Frosta calls out once again, knowing that if she goes in after the filly, the filly could get spooked and dart off. Her eyes swept the surrounding lands for the filly's parents but couldn't find any sign of any soquilis that is tending to the poor filly. The blue mare stood there at the edge of the forest and pokes her head between two trees so the filly could see that its just a harmless mare with a friendly smile on her face.

Serenity: *She had no mother, no father, no friends, as always she was alone, but she did have her invisible friend, as was common amongst children who were alone. Ears swiveled at the sound of the voice that echoed against the long gnarled trees. Those dual colored hues darted about, her head twisting this way and that.*
W-who's there?! *She called out, not certain she should but she wasn't gonna show she was afraid, if she could help it, though she gave a slight shiver against her will. Then she saw the movement she stepped back at it, only to see the face that greeted her. Widened eyes relaxed a bit, she didn't look like a monster. But she'd never seen a blue soquili before and this was a bit perplexing to her.*
A-are you a Skin Walker? *She trembled as she said the words, ears at attention her heart raced as she listened for the response. She'd heard her two legger speak of such things that lived in the mountains, and while her two legger didn't know she could understand, she did, and her mind had been filled with horror at the stories she heard.*

Frosta could see that the foal is nervous and was looking around rapidly, she smiles faintly assuming that the foal is actually alone. She lowers her head to Serenity's head level with a friendly smile on her muzzle and motherly gleam in her light blue eyes. "No, little one. I am not a skinwalker. I am a mare of the mountains." She spoke with soothing tone as she bent her front knees so she could get down on the ground to show the foal that she is not going to harm her.
"My name is Frosta, little one. What is yours?" The mare watches the foal, resisting the urge to reach over and nuzzle the foal to comfort her so she won't have to see the little body tremble with fear. She began to wonder about her parents' whereabouts and with she hopes that her parents is looking for her like she used to with her daughter Isabella who have penchant of disappearing for hours. "Where is your mother or father?" She asks before she could stop herself. With an apologetic smile, Frosta didn't move from her sitting position and didn't remove her eyes from Serenity's youthful face.

Serenity: *She relaxed just a bit as she heard the response she was hoping for. Dual colored hues watched this stranger as she approached and then took an odd pose of submission to her. She'd never seen any one do that, and wasn't sure how to react to it. Though what's to be expected when you're rarely around others of your kind to learn the simple things, all she had was instinct, and her normal wits about her.
Those wits were challenged when the stranger inquired of parents she didn't have. Should she say such, was it safe? or should she lie. She could feel her heart racing, it seemed, in her mind, that time was slowing down. She took a deep breath then shook it off.* I'm lost. *She said after a moment, not really answering her question of parents, but putting herself still in a very vulnerable position.*

Frosta smiles gently at Serenity, noticing that the foal didn't answer her two questions which is a good sign because there is many predators out there in different sizes and shapes. Sometimes she wish that she have any foal relatives so Serenity won't feel spooked or nervous around her. Frosta didn't blink as Serenity tells her that she is lost and she gets up on her hooves, but keeping her head low to Serenity's level. "Do you know where your home is? I can bring you back." She gently offers.
Frosta didn't press the filly for her name because she don't want the filly to feel uncomfortable around her. She knows that the filly will tell her when she feels the time is right, Frosta moves toward the bush with ripe berries on it. "Do you like berries?" Frosta asks the filly before she grab ahold of one 'branch' and rips it off the bush. She carries the small branch between her teeth while the berries bobbles temptingly from the end covered with delicious green leaves. She returns to her original spot in front of Serenity with the berries in the filly's face (not right up in the face) and offers Serenity some berries.

Serenity: *She nodded in response to the question of her home.* It's on the mountain. *Wow, that was vague, but until now she'd never wandered off the normal route, she hadn't meant to actually today either but it had happened all by accident. She was after all still young and still trying to figure things out. She'd been a bit worried but not frightened until she had heard the echoing.
When the mare moved to the berry bush she watched curiously, and as she brought the bush before her she shook her head, her tummy was too upset to really want food at the moment, besides she'd eaten recently enough so she was full still.* Do you know where the two legger Tewa lives? *She asked after a moment, hopeful.*

( why is my rp posts so short recently? *headdesks* )
Frosta's light blue eyes flickers toward the mountains curiously, wondering which part of the mountains Serenity is from. She know that she shouldn't judge soquilis by its appearance, she have met some unlikely soquilis that live in the mountains and she smiles down at the filly gently. "What a condience.. I live on the mountains too. Just right above that ridge." She tosses her head toward the second nearest mountain.
Dropping the small branch of berries to the ground, Frosta moves her lower jaw around little bit to get the stiffness out of it that came with the age. "Tewa? I am sorry but I don't know any two legger by that name but I do know Siryn Tigera if you know her." She offers helpfully as she moves toward one rough looking tree and start to rub against it to get the itch out of her back where she couldn't get to it. When she was stratching the itch in her back, a silly expression came over her face (crossed eyes and tongue stuck out between her muzzle which is stretched out in blissful smile) making her look so much younger than her actual age.
"Little one..." Frosta sighs while scratching her back against the rough bark on the tree. "If you can describe Tewa's expression, I probably would remember her and bring you back to her." She finally says as she moves away from the bark, shuddering her coat to get the bark pieces out of her coat.

Serenity: Of course the choice word, "expression" did nothing but confuse her, but she tried really hard to rummage through her brain to remember the last expression she'd seen Tewa make. She remembered that very morning how Tewa had brushed her down and then gave her a hug, she had a smile on her face. She liked Tewa's smile it always made her feel safe.*
She was Smiling. *She said with a thoughtful warm smile to the strange one before her. It wasn't so much that Frosta looked strange, as much as her speech pattern was rather unique, and she had up til this point never heard anyone speak in the fashion Frosta was. But the Mare seemed to be kind. Cold looking, but kind. As those dual colored hues flickered back to Frosta from her thoughts she really took the time to notice all the markings and colors of the mare before her. With out thought the question tumbled from her mouth.*
How did you get to be water colored? *She asked, her expression showed no sign of embarrassment for being so frank in her question. It was rather obvious she had never, til this point seen any other Soquili's before. Had she she'd never have inquired to such a simple thing as the coloring of ones fur.* (Sorry for taking so long, been really busy irl)
