On 18 June Iddison announced at the GameHorizon conference that Jagex had "a brand new MMO due for launch in March 2009". As well as working on completely new projects, Jagex continues to develop its existing services. In relation to FunOrb, Jagex continue to release new games and intends to expand into the mobile phone games market. In relation to RuneScape, Jagex continues to release new game content and is working French and Portuguese versions of the game. Jagex have also spoken of plans for a third MMORPG in 2010 which might use micro-payments Jagex makes it RS related. >_> Anyway, wtf how come I never heard of this. O_o

Because for a long time, you've cared more about Maple Stories then Maple Bows, and thus Bombi, you are out of the loop. X_X
Although that information is interesting, It did tell me a few things I did not know, such as how much of an investment they are putting into Mechscape, and that they are launching another MMO in 2010.

Well, at least we know once it's out I'll be migrating. Is there any images or anything? All I know is from that little segment right there and from what I saw in a thread on forums. O-o

All I know is that it's called Mechscape, it sounds kinda lame, and that Jagex is working on it, so it's success is going to be questionable. sweatdrop

Jagex has made hints of this new MMO over the last few years, I think it will be a good thing for the company. Like it was said in a previous post
" Its sucess will be questionable ". Even if it is a good game, unless they stop producing RuneScape, I don't intend on Converting to " MechScape " anytime soon to be honest.

As for the MMO coming out in 2010, I have a suspicion there going to pull another RuneScape Classic thing on us, and Make an RS3. >.>;;

I am not transfering over to mechscape untill i accomplish my goal of lvl 99 farming, rcing, herblore, hunting, and prayer

Doctor Nitrus Brio I am not transfering over to mechscape untill i accomplish my goal of lvl 99 farming, rcing, herblore, hunting, and prayer XD Damn guess you won't be joining me when it comes out anytime soon, especially with Runecraft on the list.

Insurmountable Genius As for the MMO coming out in 2010, I have a suspicion there going to pull another RuneScape Classic thing on us, and Make an RS3. >.>;; Doubt it. It was said from the beginning that JaGEx was going to create a new game totally unrelated to RuneScape (this being MechScape). Chances are there won't be a transition from RuneScape to MechScape. I mean, the RSC to RS2 transition was more for a graphical update and just more freedom. MechScape is an entirely new game in the future. So yeh, I doubt that'll happen. ~Hampy
