What a glorious day!
White puffy clouds lazily drifts by in the cornflower blue skies while the sun is struggling to break through the blanket of the cloud so it could shine upon the 'kingdom'. As the sunlight slowly makes it way toward the cliff where the bright colorful parrot female stood there with a huge grin on her black muzzle. Eirian have made it her goal to get up every morning to greet the rising sun and the new day each day without missing one because it made her feel alive and refreshed. Spreading her wings out, Eirian stood there like a statue letting the sunlight cover her like a second skin and warming her up after a chilly night in the cave and her red eyes snapped open, letting the blinding sun touch her everywhere.
After hours (it felt like hours to her) passed by, Eirian shook her wings and tossed her mane before she leaps off the cliff with her wings tucked against her body. With some gasps and horrified cries of random soquilis that spotted her leaping off the cliff, an exulted grin appears on her face because the adrenaline is filling her body with the rush that almost left her dizzy. She suddenly snaps her wings open and took off into the skies before her body hits the ground with a laughter filling the air. "Silly soquilis!! I can't hit the ground, not even if I want to!" She shouts down to the annoyed looking group of soquilis she left behind on the cliff then she suddenly felt guilty. "I am sorry though!!" She screeches her apology to them while soaring above the forest top, looking for a playmate to play a game with.

It seemed most of his days began with Jonquil alone, wandering until he found something interesting. It suited him in a way, as it gave him equal parts of time to reflect and socialize. With the assortment of mares he'd met recently he certainly had a lot to think about - personalities ranged from the mild to the abrasive, and it was a little surprising to think that he would meet so very many new faces in such a short amount of time. It really hadn't happened that fast before, but then, he'd never really been looking, had he?
Perhaps he was reaching a stage in his life where he directly sought out other Soquili more often. That was probably true, given much of his youth had been spent in solitary exploration and he felt it was time to change the pace a bit. Not only that, it seemed he missed out on much when he lost contact with others.
Regardless of all that, however, he'd found himself heading out in the early morning, quite alone and looking for some form of interest.
Clearly contrasting with his surroundings, his coat a light purple against a backdrop of natural colors, Jonquil made his way over a hill, the path one he hadn't taken in a while, directly toward a line of trees.

Loud and cheerful humming broke the silence of the early morning as the colorful mare appears from the blanket of the trees with her wings spread out, letting her glide instead of wasting unnecessary energy flapping her wings to stay afloat. To other soquilis, she will be mistaken as a huge mutated parrot bird since she almost sounds like one and acts like one (thanks to her father) but to some soquilis IF they look closer, will see that its just a beautiful colorful mare enjoying her flight.
Eirian's orangish red eyes spots a purple soquili easily since he is a stark contrast to the natural colors and with a huge smile stretching her black muzzle, she decides to swoop in to greet him. She want to have more friends and more entertainment since she have been exploring all over the 'kingdom' by her lonesome while playing with small animals to chase the boredom off. "Helloooo!!!" She calls out with a parrot-like squawk as she lands on top of the hill so she won't be all 'in your face' with this new stallion. "How are you doing on this beautiful day?" Eirian sang out as she did a little silly dance right there in the spot.
Eirian took in the sight of the soquili that is approaching her and grins even more widely, liking the sight of the soquili with lovely shade of purple as his main color and golden sockings with.. ooooo stripes! The parrot mare squawks excitedly as she eyes the braids in his hair, wondering what the braids are and who put them in there. "My name is Eirian! What is yours?" She says in almost upbeat and perky voice

Blinding, a little bewildered by the sudden and intense greeting, Jonquil did little more than gaze in slight wonderment at the mare before him. She was a wind Soquili, and her colors were vibrant and impossible to miss. It was this fact that convinced him he'd never met her before; surely he would remember such a lively and colorful mare.
Ears twitching forward, expression curious and pleasant, he replied, "Jonquil."
Whatever her reasons for approaching him, it seemed Eirian had plenty of energy, and she was friendly to boot. Here was an object of interest as he had been searching for, and this time, he hadn't even been the one to approach the other.
Smiling slightly, the gesture barely evident on his expression, he added, "And it is a beautiful day. I was just walking in search of something interesting. How are you?"

Eirian flutters her wings and arranges the feathers in her wings since she hates messy feathers or manes just like her own father. She looks at Jonquil's curious yet pleasant expression on his face with exuberant smile that reaches up to her orangery red eyes then she dances over to the stallion since he was rooted to the ground (or seems to be rooted to the ground) with easy grace. "Nice to meet you, Jonquil!" She perkily says as she spreads one of her wing out and tried to wave at the stallion (mimicking the human she saw recently).
"I am doing lovely. I just love it when the sun is out, smiling at us instead of hiding behind the clouds." Eirian says cheerfully as she moves closer to the stallion. "I can help you with searching for something interesting.. what do YOU count as interesting?" The parrot mare smiles at Jonquil, too used to having soquilis stare at her like she have two heads or should be smacked for being too cheerful for her own good. "Anything that is different from my family or friends are very interesting.. don't get me wrong, my parents and brother are very interesting.. you should meet my brother sometimes. You will definitely have blast with him." She chatters excitedly then she blinks when she realized that she is talking before her mind could catch up.
"Oh.. I am sorry." Eirian says with a grin that didn't indicate that she is embarrassed by her little blunder. "Sometimes words escapes my mouth more faster than my mind could think." She laughs as she tosses her rainbow mane over her neck.

Content to simply listen to the vibrant mare chatter, Jonquil remained as he was, his weight evenly distributed among his limbs. It had been a long time since he'd met anyone who enjoyed talking quite so much. Generally he had to prompt others to speak of themselves, but she didn't seem to have a problem with it at all. It was refreshing.
When she apologized he shook his head, clearly not offended. "It's fine. I enjoy listening to others speak, and I find it interesting, actually. You may talk as much as you like."

A grateful yet happy smile graces her muzzle and reaches up to her eyes, Eirian giggles and does a little cute dance around Jonquil, her body is practically humming with energy. "Then I will be monopolizing the conversation, Jonquil." Eirian commented with an easy smile while her wingtip traces Jonquil''s stripes. "I really like the stripes on you! Very subtle yet it stands out." She says with a smile as she allows her wingtip trace each stripes on his body with feather-light touch.
"Why don't you tell me little bit about yourself? since you already know that I have a brother, two silly parents and that I am still a foal at heart even though if I am an adult now." Eirian says with a laugh as she flutters her wings, dancing backward away from Jonquil, not wanting to crowd him in.

The light brush of her wings tickled, but Jonquil resisted the urge to dance away from them. She was just being friendly, after all, and he didn't want to offend her - nor did he mind the light touch, being a rather physically expressive person himself. He'd just never had the occasion to come into contact with wings before.
Eirian was full of energy, and watching her made him want to move around, too. Such a mood was contagious, it seemed. However, he was content to make introductions before galloping off on some adventure.
"Something about me, hm?" She'd described herself in terms of family, which he could do as well, though that really told very little about him. He loved his family dearly, but he wasn't defined by them by any means. Actually, he found it a little difficult to talk about himself.
Curiously, he pawed the ground. "What would you like to know?"
