Panda: *stands to the side in a corner watching the bigger Soq. Feeling slightly overwelmed by the largeness she rather contentedly just nibbled some grass and kept to herself*
Daytona: *Follows a small rodent around, tail twitching behind him, before almost bumping onto one of his own kind, Panda*
Panda: *watched as Daytona neared her she seamed ever so amused by whatever he had been chasing. With her curiousity getting the better of her she snuck close enough to him to see the mouse. She then pulled back and shrieked almost trampling over the poor thing and the other Usdia who didn't seam to have noticed her*
Daytona: *Ears flick somewhat before back paddling and nearly falling over backwards when he reared up. Thus losing his source of entertainment.* Whoa! Where you come from? *Looks around, not remembering seeing anyone around... Before.*
Panda: *finally settling from the comotion. She looked at him and flicked her tail causing the bells on her body to jingle* Well...I came from...*she turned her neck to the spot she had been nibbling* Over there...I guess- anyways why were you chasing one of those little 'things' they are terrifying! *she shook her long mane most displeased at just seeing a mouse*
Daytona: *Tilts his head to one side a little before craning his neck to one side to look where she had gestured.* Oh? *Though the look of disgust on her face made him smile.* I follow them, cause you never know where they can lead you. That one, that you let get away, lead me here. *Shaking his own head, odd colored eyes looked around, scanning the ground for another elusive rodent.*
Panda: Well I suppose your right...following them WILL lead you to an adventure...but those long tails...and the way they walk around...*she again seamed to scrunch her face up worse then before* I'll just follow you from a safe distance if you DO happen to find another one. *she chuckled and pawed nervously at the ground that the mouse might return magically somehow*
Daytona: *Chuckled again at the female's expression, perhaps he would have to do something about her.* You don't like long tails? But I have a long tail... *Looks back at his tail as he twitched it behind him. Though the way they walked? That made his mind come up a blank.... He hadn't really noticed the funny way they scuttled along.* If I do find another one, you will be a head of me, I will guard the rear. *A grin crept over his face once more, most would think he had a few screws loose in the head or something...*
Panda: Yea...but your tail is handsome! It's long with lots of different colors in it! *she tilted her head just alittle further forward not intentionally trying to stair at his bum* Not at all like those rodents...It's like naked or something icky like that...*she then paused and positioned her head back to the way it was with a half confused half insulted look* I can gaurd my own rear thank you very much...Mr? Mr....Mr? Whats your name by the way? *she huffed at him slightly thinking about her rear* I go by the name of Panda.
Daytona: *Had to look back at his own tail, though did it in one of the most comical ways, between his own legs. It didn't seem full of different colors to him, it was just bray and braided here and there. Did this mare have some difficulty telling that?* Daytona, my human has given me a strange name, not exactly one you could call... *He looked himself over again* Someone like me, *Shrugs as the idled brain was taking a break to give him a more.. 'cool' persona.*
Panda: *Just glanced at him and cocked her head almost like a dog. He was prehaps the most 'intresting' Stallion that she had met- just abit odd as well* You have a nice name Daytona. *As she watched him peering at his own grey tail threw his legs. No wonder the poor thing chased mice. She almost took pity on him for the loose screws he was displaying.* But what are these humans you speak of? Are they as disgusting as those 'things' you chase? *she took another step back making sure that he wasn't still trying to gaurd her rear.*

Daytona looked at Panda oddly as she asked if his human was as disgusting as the things he chased. Well of course not! Ears laying themselves back his two toned eyes narrowed slightly, if he could have, he would have straightened out his tail, but as it was... he couldn't. Though a lip did roll back some.
"Of course not." He answered, "My human is most kind and helpful. She even made me a blanket I can wear in the winter so I don't get cold when I venture outside."
Head turning to the side a little, the once had expression softening some as he looked away from her. The one didn't seem to know much about humans, he knew some, he grew up around them. Nadi wasn't disgusting at all, nor were those she lived around. Perhaps he should take this mare to see Nadi... To prove that they aren't disgusting... Maybe.

Panda nodded and watched his facial expressions. Obviously she offended him with her comments and nervously flicked her tail. Her bells gave a small jingle and she stopped. "I mean I've just never met one before. I'm sure your human is very lovely!" Her own ears went back feeling bad for offending the other Usida. He seamed so nice- so odd but so appeling at the same time. Definatly something to perk up that boring life of hers. Not that she thought anything further then that. But he was definatly worth exploring into- at least friendwise. Him and his mice after all. She chuckled at the thought- she'd have to become abit less squeamish with him troding around her.
"I'd like to meet your human." She said cheerfully. "As long as we don't have to follow any mice there." Panda once again gave a half contorted face at the look. She REALLY didn't like rodents...expecially mice. Bleh!

Daytona merely watched the mare as she spoke of never seeing a human. Head tilting to the side a little he looked back the way he had come, though his travels had lead him this way and that. Silly little rodent he scared in his human's food stores had head him quite a distance from him, though he could find it quite easily as the paths he traveled were more crisscrossing then straight.
"I can take you to see her. And there aren't any more mice... Not that I know of anyways. Unless there are more hiding in the food stores." He said looking skyward a bit thinking that he would have to look and find out.
Turning away from Panda he headed back the way he had come, though in more of a straight line. Stopping he looked back with two toned eyes head tilting once more, ears twitched at the look on the mare's face that made him giggle girlishly inside, though his head bobbed some in the action of it. Soon looking away, his braided tail twitching behind him a bit.
"This way," he said after clearing his throat a couple times.

She seamed to sigh with relief at the thought that they weren't going to be following any icky mice to see his human. Though she was nervous about 'what' a human was never meeting or hearing about one before. What did one look like? Did they have a diet for Horses? She hoped not- she wasn't ready to be eatten. Though she gave a silly inward chuckle at that thought. She then let her mind run for a few seconds more; endless possibilities what humans were again. It almost caused her eyes to glaze over for a few seconds as if she couldn't escape from her own mind imagination. But when snapped out of it she was looking back at Daytona's rump and lovely braided tail.
"Food Stores?" She again perked up curiously trotting up faster so she could be next to him instead of behind him. His rump was nice- but she prefered not to be looking at it the whole journey.
Again her mind seamed to wander; Stores? It was another strange word to her. She looked over to the stallion and grinned nervously seaming to embarass herself more and more with each question. But how could she not ask? She was just so curious!
Nodding she anwsered him. "Okie."

Daytona stopped and looked back, well to the side at Panda. watching her for a moment as she seemed to make herself out as... Not really stupid, but unlearned of the human races and of their ways. Then again, as he had thought before, he was human raised and she was more then likely wild raised. Shaking his short mane a little, small ripples playing through the strands he started moving again.
"You know, food stored for later times. Like when the winds refuse to stop howling and the snow to stop falling. Surely you store stuff away..." He looked at her again, "Right?"
Odd colored eyes looked forward again as his head dropped to the ground, his steps started being in a weaving motion. He moved through the trees his tail twitching quite frantically behind him. Was he perhaps on teh scent of something, had something gotten before him? Nah, he just caught the scent of something that had been wandering the outskirts of his home and was trying to see what or who it was, that is if he knew about the scent. After a few minutes it ended and he came to a halt just before Panda once more.
"Oops." He giggles, as he had perhaps forgotten what he was doing while he followed the scent around, that was most likely his own...
Just past where they were, the dull glimmer of Nadi's Teepee could be seen. It appeared that she had a good fire going and her shadows was cast against the inside of the white canvas. It was large and very hard to make out from the distance, it was almost like a looming shadow as Nadi moved around inside. Daytona smiled before picking up his pace toward the teepee, not really caring that he might have left Panda behind, he was just wanting to get somewhere... Warm!

As she trotted next to him she nodded. "Well I try to store things away. But I live near the wild Soquili and well- some of them aren't the most 'polite'. Usually none of my food makes it past those times." She then smiled at him with one of those looks that if a sweat drop could have formed on her brow then hers would have been unusually sized. She never did have an easy time surviving those harsh times. It even made her consider leaving her homelands just to find a place she didn't have to share her food with the larger animals. Especially some of those rude Soquili.
She then turned and watched Daytona. His hair blustering in the wind, and the odd way he seamed to be walking. Circles, she thought as she tried to keep up with him. He was certainly an odd one but she couldn't complain- even if they were lost. Her own nose then lifted into the air, wuffling the scents past her long maw. Some of them were very strange, but one she could easily pick up, Fire!
But by the time she had parted her lips to say something and bolt in the other direction. Daytona seamed to have been racing towards it. What in the world was that crazy horse thinking? She then in her panic saw something else near the bright oranges and yellows of the fire. What was that? She calmed herself down and took a few steps forward. It was shaped like a small white mountain. Was that what he was running towards?
Against all of her fear she decided to move towards the flames and follow her new friend. The flickering did look 'controlled', she told herself over and over making small progress towards the little mountain. Eventually she found herself at about ten or so feet from the flames. The mountain considerably larger then before and now a black shadowy creature moving about inside it. She could see Daytona from here as well as a good view of the fire. Tapping a foot nervously she called to him her front hoof scratching at the grass below. "Is that fire safe?"
Her ears went back as she couldn't figure which to watch, the shadowy figure. Or the embers that seamed to jump about dangerously in front of her.

Nosing at the canvas that separated him from the warm inside, he looked back at Panda as she seemed scared of the fire. Tilting his head some he looked back to his human's home and back to Panda. Of course it was safe enough, they hadn't been burnt out yet and he didn't think Nadi would let that happen to them. She was too careful, she even rarely spoke to her own kind unless at gatherings.
"Of course the fire is safe. It's been safe ever since I can remember." Daytona said nodding, soon nosing at the canvas again to open the door way.
"Daytona? Is that you?" came a young girl's voice as the shadow moved to where Daytona was nudging.
Stepping from inside was a heavily clothed human. Her deerskin clothing being rather bulky against the cold weather. Her head was exposed to reveal her dark colored hair. her blue eyes watching Daytona from where he was standing before reaching out with a hand to pet his muzzle.
"Didn't I tell you to not do that? It lets the cold air in you silly." She giggled ruffling his mane, Nado was barely taller then Daytona, but she wasn't in the least cruel looking, but a mere child. If one took her as such...

"Well if you say so." She seamed to squeak nervously, making each step towards the fire and the white mountain a slow progression. Her mind said otherwise though still wishing to bolt away from the danger. She pawed the ground and stopped this time yet a little closer to Daytona. Had she been raised by humans her attitude would have been different- but wild born she always learned of the dangers of fire and how they destroyed homes and families.
She nickered at him and watched the strange creature emerge from the mountain. This must have been a 'human'. She cocked her head and took another step forward curiously. This time ignoring the embers. It was probably a fault of hers to be so curious but she couldn't help herself. The human was just so odd...Apparently it had fur like a deer and always walked around on reared hindquarters. She thought about the talent it must take to do a feat like that.
"So this is a human?" She whispered to Daytona now standing close enough that her red eyes were glinting from the fire. She could also now clearly see inside the white mountain- which was apparently full of interesting 'things' that she wanted to play with.

Daytona reared a little as if trying to knock his human back to the ground, nuzzling his head against her madly. He indeed loved his human and also wanted to get inside and out of the cold. Already he felt like his coat was going to freeze right off his body to leave him some strange pink, fleshy creature that would scare the jeepers out of any/everyone. stopping his madness he looked at Panda whom was right there beside him again.
"This is Nadi. She raised me from a foal." He nodded letting his human have a few minutes to breath from all the laughing she had been doing. "We live in there, I sleep off to one side, the food stores are off to the back and she takes up the rest of the space."
Nadi whom had been laying on the ground laughing as Daytona was apparently trying to maul her or something. Shaking her head, she picked herself up off the ground and dusted herself off. She had failed to see the other usdia that her Daytona had brought home, but now she looked at the strange black and white mare and tilted her head.
"Tony, who's this?" she asked him as if he were going to answer her.
Stepping forward a little she walked around the mare to get a good look at her. Strange coloring in deed, then again, Nadi hadn't really seen many of Daytona's kind around the parts they lived. Looking back at Daytona he merely gave a soft horsey grin. She shook her head thinking that he wouldn't be of any help.

The black and white mare watched the love between the human and Daytona. She smiled at the two almost wishing she had been raised by a human and not in the wild. Her eyes then gave a slight dash back to the fire making sure it was still there. Prehaps Daytona had been right to rush forth next to it. It was sure much warmer here then the path they had trodden in this direction.
"She's very pretty." She nickered back to him, Nadi now walking around her. She should have felt nervous during all this but for some strange reason she felt completly at ease. And as Nadi stopped Panda trotted forward towards her and preaned her hair lipping it in her mouth in long strands of greeting.

Nadi giggled as the mare came forward and lipped at her hair that was pulled back into twin braids, though both were quite long. Raising her hands some the stroked the mare's muzzle gently trying to back her off a little so that she could look the mare in the face.
"Well hello to you too." Nadi giggled still petting the mare. "So you one of Tony's friends then?"
Daytona giggled prancing a little watching the mare and his human a little. Looking from one to the other and back again, he soon vanished into the teepee where it was completely out of the cold and where his blanket laid on the furred ground. Though he poked his head back out the doorway.
"When it's warmer seasons, she wears less furs..." He smiled some from his vantage point.
Nadi turned and looked toward Daytona as he vanished into their home. Shaking her head she turned away from the mare to try and coax hm out again, but he didn't seem to want to budge. Sighing Nadi turned back to Panda.
"We might as well join him inside." Nadi smiled before stepping in herself over toward one side, Daytona laid on the other side stretched out on his own blanket that doubled as his blanket when he went out on really cold days. Nadi had left the door open to let Panda inside the warmth from inside slipping outside in the process.

She continued for a few seconds more then her eyes met Nadi's and she gave a chortle of happyness. She felt calmed as the other stroked her long maw and almost playing trying to lip at her hand yet again. They smelled nice. Like food. Taking another long wuffle between breathes she definatly determined that Nadi had been stashing foods someplace. Tasty ones too. Prehaps they had been hidden in the white mountian that her friend had disapeared into.
So trying not to be rude to the human, as she seamed really nice. She too seamed to find herself entering the mouth of the hollow mountian. But as she entered her eyes filled with the wonder of items she had never seen before. Strange tools, toys, and other weird things. Her mouth almost dropped not even noticing Daytona in the middle, Eyes danced over to the spare furs in the corner. Nadi's clothing most likely. She trod over and gave them a once over curiously. These creatures were still a new thing to her. From the looks of it humans were skinwalkers?
Her nose then found her way right onto the middle of the pile so that now when she lifted her head up a few furs went with her. Startled she shook them off and looked at Daytona her white face turning cherry red. "Everything is so amazing in here!" She still looked about starry eyed. "Too bad I didn't know about this skinwalkers earlier!" She chimed still not able to keep her eyes on one thing too long.
