TRADE DISCTRICT
The trade district is exactly what it’s called – a part of the town, built and used mainly for business and exchange of all kind. Not only does it have a market and numerous shops, but entertainment and performers right there on the streets. Actors, musicians, puppeteers – you name it.
The Eléli exchange is known well for its variety of goods from places all around the world. Due to the city‘s position on the map and of course its reputation, various merchants travel miles from across the world, knowing that their goods will always be noticed here. And be sure – you can find anything here in the trade district.
MILITARY DISTRICT
The military district is located in the north-western part of the city, close to the royal district and the castle. Here stands the headquarters of the Eléli royal guards, where the freshmen are trained and prepared for their carrier as an honorable protector of the city.
Right here in the military district, also lies the base of the Order of the Iron Wolf. The order, of course, is a group of knights who dedicate their lives to protecting people from evil of all kinds. Usually, the knights of the Iron Wolf, go not only on regular patroling duty, but can also be hired for personal protection, or monster or bandit slaying (though, when it comes to handling bandits, or other humans, they‘ll rather bring them back alive to the prison, than kill them.)
The royal armory, training ground, barracks and prison are located in this district.
GRAND DISTRICT
The grand district can be found in the northern part of the town, close to the military district and the castle. This is the part of the city where the polititians, rich clerks, some of the famous military leaders and just the high class society reside.
This district doesn‘t have any specific places, unless you need to find the „top hats“ of the city. In that case, this is the first place to look.
THE CASTLE
The castle stands on a hill, in the north part of the city. Surrounded by strong, stone walls, this place is the perfect (and in this case – only) residence for the royal family and their guests.
Eléli is currently ruled by prince, soon to be crowned king, Ildaran, from the proud and deep-rooted Nilaer family. Even though prince Ildaran is still quite young (twenty-three), he has shown excellent knowledge in politics, strategy and the love for his people – which should make him a great king.
THE DOCKS
The docks are one of the most important parts of the town. It‘s the main route for all traders, wariors and travelers. The docks also serve as a market. Merchants sell stock right off their boats, fishermen make stands with freshly caught fish and other sea creatures.
The docks are also highly populated by lower citizens, and is full of inns and taverns. Further east warehouse storages stand. In the west part of the docks, further from the busy part of the place is a lighthouse.
OLD TOWN
The old town is a higly populated part of the town in the north-western part of the city, close to the military district and the park. Many citizens have built their homes there, just as some organizations, hired assassins, wizards, detectives and many others.
The old town has also small, yet the quite of high quality stores for weapons, armor, clothes, books and other items of higher value. The old town, unlike the docks and trade district is a quiet part of the city.
