yeah i'm noob, i'm a 2008er watdya expect? xD well, i just want to ask about, well, evolving items i know that there are different generations with different stances, but when an item evolves and you have it, wat happens to the item you have? does it change to a different generation? does it go forward? oh, and most importantly, is it normal for an item to lose a generation? because i bought a carol of ebenezer 4th generation, and the next day (which was 3 days ago) it turned into a 3rd generation, and i'm just very concerned, and i'm just wondering IS THIS NORMAL?! D: i'm a newb/noob/nub

When your item evolves it goes forward in poses, if you have Inari's beads 3rd generation (let's say the pose is a mask and the second gen is a sash) and it evolves getting the poses of the previous 2nd gen
So that means your inari's beads are now a sash and no longer a mask. When the next evo happens (your now 2nd gen 3rd gen) will evolve into 1st gen (which has all the items the item has ever had) It is recomendable that you only get 1st gen evolving items because they're the most expensive so you can get them cheap when they're released and sell them high when they end evolving

Or, put another way...
They're called evolving for a reason. Lets say a new item was released...
~~~
NEW EVOLVER! (First set of poses)
~~~
After a week or two, it evolves. Now things would look like this...
~~~
NEW EVOLVER! (Second set of poses) NEW EVOLVER! 2nd Gen (First set of poses)
~~~
The first gens would have new poses, the second gens would have the previous set. Eventually it would evolve again...
~~~
NEW EVOLVER! (Third Set of Poses) NEW EVOLVER! 2nd Gen (Second set of poses) NEW EVOLVER! 3rd Gen (First set of poses)
~~~
Make sense?
Beyond that, eventually an item becomes fully evolved. Then it can use all the poses. Later generations will become fully evolved too - just later.
