Whenever i couldn't beat a boss. i started doing missions untill i could level up more. you can also find more of those items to fuse with your materia to increase stats. i think i was level 39 when i beat him. have lots of mp because it can get used up quickly and if you can't equip at least 3 different armors, keep doing missions untill you get the item that helps. if it's in Benora at the end, there's still his human form and the shinra troops after. so be prepared. i'd also suggest having a few elixers to restore you're hp and mp. don't use super osmose or super drain ever. it's too slow.

you're welcome. i just beat the game today for the 2nd time. I was level 51 i think. the first time, i was around Lv. 39 - 41.
