[Death Resurrected]

A large white mare basked in the noon sun; she was taking her daily cat nap. Her eyes were closed and a small smile was upon her face. She was enjoying the warmth. Though she could admit she could do without the chilled breeze. It was a first for the ice queen. She wondered whatever happened to that black kalona she had met that one night had wandered off to. She had found him compatible aside from his dominating ways and perhaps worthy of breeding as he had no objection to her half breed blood. This was hard to find in a kalona, but she had decided to not make advances towards him for her own well being.

She dwelled on other facts such as the mare Belle Morte she had met, the vampiric angeni. She was a curious case, she didn’t know what to make of her but she decided it was best to stay well out of her way. These new soquili, had strange anatomy…broad range of color and the appearances were more than deceiving. There were two parts to her; one was vile in every way. The other was a gentle creature who nurtured all around her and inside it was a war to be the dominating factor. She pondered at all of these things and others that were not as important

She was all alone in a world that was passing her by it seemed. She sighed more deeply as she tried to push these things from her mind as she lay in this empty glade just near the forest entry.

How interesting, so interesting! But....ugh, why did he have to feel like such a squirrel? Jittery, but oh so curious, of this pale soquili before him. What had wings like those? Nothing he'd ever seen or heard of. And those horns, so amazing. He had to get a closer look....but no. Cold air curled around his nostrils as he breathed quietly. Something deep down in his core made his legs feel heavy. A warning. Afterall, sharp items like horns and fangs were well known to belong to predators.

The colt snuffed, bristling his hair to that idea. A predator? But, wasn't it just another soquili? Only with altered features on her flesh? Torn by inexperience, Manjii' held his ground, hidden behind snow covered trees. Should he continue to observe the stranger? But the air was proving no warmer where he hid. Some of that sunlight the white mare was absorbing looked quite tempting for the lost colt......

Pandora was not so inexperienced, she knew when things were out about. She could pinpoint them, she had instincts, she could smell them, she did not have to see them. Call it an advantage for her, however for those in hiding it was not so much. She didn't take well to be watched either, without said watcher being announced. The 'announcers' so to speak were usually prideful kalona who spat and walked away after noticing her trihorn. Damn fools, she thought. She sighed heavily as she would give this creature a warning before she got up to go after it herself, and with her nose she would find it.

"Come out, come out wherever you are...I know you're there." she made the last part, a slight growl.

Wha?....how did she know he was here??

Jumanjii' looked left and then right to make sure it was him she was speaking to. But she wasn't even looking his direction. Still, the pit of his gut told him that he was discovered. It'd be no use darting an escape from the winged mare. He was certain a snow rabbit could run further than him before getting caught.

Even so, he didn't know how to respond. Instincts told him to keep quiet, and besides that he wouldn't know what to say. But her growl caused his brows to furrow. Was she daring him? It was enough to make his young adrenaline pulse angrily...

She growled more baring fang this time, as she got up from her spot and stared into the brush where he was hiding. Her spaded tail flicked in agitation, she started to think about, the kid was probably scared shitless. Though she wasn't going to play nice yet, then he would definantly run. The foal would think she was trying to lure him, she just wanted to make a point.

"One last chance kid," she replied softly yet with a seriousness that could not be mistaken.

Pandora could be nice, or she could be the most vile creature one could meet. It depended who it was and their actions. That and the type of mood the half breed was in. For the most part it was good, however she never liked being spyed on no matter who the character.

Manjii' shuffled on his hooves, debating his options. The adult had already stood, and with her predatory growling it sent the youth into a nervous bundle. Though not enough to just bolt. Imagine how much his sister would laugh at his lack of bravery, despite the gripping situation.

"Fine, fine. Have it ye way." The colt edged from the shallow tree line, but kept his flanks to the hidden path. No need to wander too far near. "Ye have a problem with others taking quiet glimpses? I wonder why." Was she that rare a sight that even adults stopped to look, and not just silly younglings? Or was she just one of those grumpy soquili that hated company?...

Huh, he didn't run, this actually amused her slightly. She probably wouldn't have chased him...it would've took too much energy and by that time she would've been furious and might've ended up killing him. That would've been a pity, he was such a cutey.

She rose a brow at him. "Didn't your mother teach you anything?" she demanded. She watched him. "Rule number one, its not polite to stare." she growled at him. "Yes I do have a problem with it."
