 Tendaji was pretend stalking a shell that had washed up on the beach. The sun was shining and a cool breeze was ruffling his fur as he pounced on the shell. The shell went shooting into the sand dunes where Ten could see it resting on a few blades of grass. He ran to the shell and tried to pounce again but he missed and the shell once again shot off into the sand dunes. Frustrated Tendaji flopped down on the sand facing the water and he wished Korrin or Udo was here, I'm sure they would know how to catch a stupid shell! He thought as he sighed and brooded about once again losing a shell in a stalking practice.

 Udo arched a small brow as he watched his younger sibling play with a shell. That confused him, he was there to play around in the water a bit, why not, it was nice out, he wanted to get out for a while but it looked like he was going to spend another day with another of his siblings. It wasn't that bad for hims though.
"Hello Ten!" He called out as he made his way down one of the dunes, him some what blending into the sand as he walked. It was nice. He wandered over to the shell, picking it up by pushing his paw under it before flipping it toward his brother. "What are you up to?" He asked, arching a small brow at the cub again before licking his lips and looking out at the ocean, he loved the way it looked. So peaceful

Tendaji heard Udo call him and he intimidate perked up, "Hey Udo." he called out as he sat up. He watched as Udo flipped the shell towards him, he jumped up and batted it with his paw. "I was trying to practice pouncing with this stupid shell but I just cant do it right, its like the shell has a life of his own." he said as he glared at the shell that had skidded into the waves. "So what are you doing down here, I thought you were doing something else today." Ten asked, trying to sound cool and aloof but sounded eager instead.

Udo chuckled at his little brother, he loved his little siblings, all of them not just some of them. They were all so much fun and it depended on what kind of mood he was in. Some times his little brothers were more easy for him to put up with, other it was easier for him to put up with his sisters. No matter what he always had some one to talk to other than his mother.
"Yeah some times they do that." He winked at him and moved a little closer to his little brother sitting next to him with a smile. "I'm not that sure. I'm just kind of wandering around today, I was thinking of going out of the borders for a bit and wandering but I just ended up here." He chuckled before smiling at down at Ted. "What were your plans for today? You didn't have something big like a date planned today right?" He teased messing with the younger cub's hair with his paw.

Ten ducked out from under Udo's paw once away he made a face at him. "A date? But girls are yucky!" He said like all little boys say when they are around Tendaji's age.
"You were going to out of the borders?" He asked with awe wishing he could do the things that his brother could do. He started to build a small sand hill with out even realizing it as he said, "I just wanted to working on guy stuff like you and Korrin do but I'm not really all that good at it. I mean like it would be so cool to go out of the borders and all."

Udo chuckled at the cubs reaction to his paw and comment. He loved saying things like that to cubs and seeing their reactions. "Oh you say that now." He laughed slightly before watching the cub mess with the sand with a small smile on his face.
"Yes I was." Then he shrugged before chuckling at the cub, he reached a paw out, wrapping it around the cub and pulling him closer to himself. "If you ever want to hang out you can just find me. What were you thinking about doing? Maybe I can help you." He grinned down at his younger sibling, even though he was adopted, he still treated all of the cubs and even Korrin as his real siblings. He really could fit into the family, he was about the same tone as Siti, he could have been her son.

Tendaji squirmed a bit and after a moment ducked under Udo's paw. He really had to think about what to ask, there were so many things he would love doing with his older brother but to him they all seemed like little cub things to do. He watched as a sand bug dug its self out of some sand and started to scurry down the beach.
"Well I was wondering if you could..... um.... help with my pouncing cuz like I know that you and Korrin had to hunt, i think, when you went on your quest thing so you have to be really go at it." Ten asked as he watched the bug get eaten by a seagull. He not so covertly watched Udo waiting to see what he would say.

Udo chuckled slightly at the cub's hesitation. It amused him just slightly but he didn't mind. He loved to spend time with his younger siblings when he got the chance too. He looked down at the cub before standing up and then flicking the hair out of his eyes with a grin. "Well, I've been hunting for a long time, even before I met mom." He then nodded shaking the dirt off of his coat then nodded. "I'll help you." He nudged the cub as he started to walk down the beach thinking of a good target for his brother.
"Keep up bro." He called out as he looked back for a moment then back around. He wasn't that sure what could be around here that he could teach his brother to pounce on. At one point he was out in the grass lands where there was something to pounce on all of the time . Even other lions. He made a small face as he looked around once more. "You got an idea of what you want to hunt?" He looked back at the cub before forward again.

Tendaji scrambled after Udo kicking up sand behind him as he caught up to his big brother. "What I want to hunt? Don't really know. I would love to get something like a squirrel but those suckers alway move so darn fast. And besides I cant even get a stupid shell." Ten said shrugging as he trotted to keep up with Udo trying to sound older but didnt really pull it off.
Tendaji knew that Udo was not his real brother but it never mattered to him. The mention of a time before mom pricked his interest although so with the innocent of all little cubs he just couldn't help but ask, "Hey Udo what was it like before you met mom?"

Udo looked over at the cub before chuckling. He could hear his attempts at being 'cool'. He didn't bother with say anything. He didn't want to hurt the little cub. "Hmm... I'll hunt something down for you. At first its always hard, but once you get a hang of it, it is so much easier." He laughed before slowly down at the cub's question.
He hated that question to a point, he always was thinking about his sister and some times he did feel bad about it. But he wouldn't tell his father off... "Well I lived with my sister, my real sister. But then some one took her and Siti... Mom found me." He cleared his throat with a sight before troting just a little bit faster.

Tendaji thought for a moment then said with certainty "But Mom made you feel better. She always makes me feel better, well except when I do somethin' stupid like the time I got chased up a tree by a crab. Man who knew that they didn't like being batted around." he smiled sheepishly as he thought of that time, Lila laughed like crazy when she heard.
He ran ahead of Udo and batted at a shell that when into the water when he asked, "What was it like out in the rogue lands? Did you have adventures?"

Udo looked down at the cub then smiled. He always had his sister in the back of his mind however Siti did make him feel better. "Yes... I have to say she did." He then chuckled at the cub's story. He had did something things like that. "Ah. Don't feel that bad about it little one. Some others also do things like that. You learn from them. Thats all that matters." He chuckled before lifting his head back up and looking around.
Then his attention turned back down toward the cub. He smiled before looking around once more. Looking for something for 'prey' for his brother. "It was interesting. It isn't the safest place thats for sure. I mean. I did have a lot of adventures but you never knew when some big lion was going to come and stop them." He looked down at the cub and nodded, pulling at his tail gently. "They would just come out of no where and-" Then as gently as he could he pounced on his little brother. "They could get you." Like that he nipped at his brother's ear then let go of him, starting to trot once more. "Prides are a lot more safe."

Tendaji listened to his brother intently as he talked about the dangers of the rogue lands, and when Udo pulled his tail gently he just made a face. But when Udo pounced on him he let out a little squeak of surprise, he was not expecting that in the least.
Once Udo got up Ten sat up and shook out his fur, making it stand up in places. "Oh very funny, just you wait I'll get you back for that" He said in mock anger and tried to pounce on Udo but since he was so much bigger then Ten, Ten just kinda slid off of Udo's backside. After dusting himself off Tendaji trotted to keep up with Udo, "Well even if prides are safer I still cant wait to go and have some adventures of my own."
After a moment Ten got a idea and ran ahead of Udo and ducked into the trees that were just a head, yelling out behind him, "You cant catch me you old lion!" trying to get Udo to follow him.

Udo laughed at his brother, a playful manner. "I'll keep an eye out." He grinned at the younger lion, a smile on his face and another chuckle escaping his maw. He looked at the little one before shaking his head and watching him. "Well, that wasn't much good." He nudged the cub playfully once more with a laugh. "Try again when you're a little older." He tease plafully once more. He liked being able to joke around with his younger siblings, even the ones that were more of his age.
"Well, As long as you come back I'm sure that no one will mind you going out on adventures." He laughed again, nudging the cub once more, then he was caught off gaurd at how fast the little one was up. He arched a brow as he saw him take off, it made him wonder if he would stay still or chase. With a laugh he stood up quickly then took off after him. He was up for a little fun, he didn't see the harm into following.
