According to sources, there is going to be an angle inserted into this Friday's episode of Smackdown (which has already been taped) where Jeff Hardy and fiance Beth are injured in a hit-and-run auto accident in Cameron, NC, most likely with Christian as the perpetrator. Jeff will be uninjured but Beth will apparently be seriously hurt in storyline. This whole thing is surprising since Beth had always wanted to be out of the spotlight.
