The forest seemed a little dark today and it worked well for the young pup. The leaves were hanging ready to drop off, autumn was here. The sky was dark and the stars were slowly appearing. At long last things were happening and fun may happen if she was lucky.
The small pup made her way through the forest, she weaved her way in between the trees making sure she didn't step on a twig or anything else that might break. She was happy to be wandering though she wanted someone to play with, boredom wasn't slow on reaching her and she wasn't patient at all and when bored, well she got mean. The more bored the more evil, lovely way of setting things up but hey! She didn't care!

A shrill cackling could be heard not from too far away. A crazed little pup with endless hyperactiveness was pouncing around on any leaf that moved. Pouncing so hard that the leaf would just seem to disappear after he landed on it.
He seemed to have the time of his life, doing what others would seemingly call 'boring'. But, he never got bored, for he always found something to do, whether it was racing the stream or rolling in the dirt.
As the sky grew darker his face seemed to give off a sort of glow, being lighter than the rest of his fur. His fur from the face down was a green/gray/brown with some strange bonelike markings on his torso and down his legs.

 Desert had wandered away from his pack, giving in to the urge to explore. He had wandered for a reasonable distance, and was about to head back, when he heard a sound that frightened him. It sounded like someone that was crazy, laughing their head off....and it was close by...Desert didn't wait to see what it was, instead, he dove into the nearest bush, hoping the thick foliage would hide him.

Her ears ricked up as the sound was somewhat obvious to her, Barrel. She ran towards him and pounced him. "You always make so much noise and so stupid!" She spoke it what seemed to be a witchy voice and she seemed to cackle aswell. Her rather short black hair moved as she rolled around on Barrel. "I am bored!" She sat back on her hind legs as she swayed a little raising her maw to the sky before catching the scent of a near by wolf. "BARREL!! OVER THERE!" She screeched as she bounded towards where the other pup was hidden.

Barrel was all caught up in surprise as he twisted his head around. "I might be stupid, but at least I have a brain!" He stated, quite satisfied with his comeback.
It wasn't too long before he was sidetracked with the falling leaves, that he completely ignored everything that Shock said. Indeed he did smell another wolf, but he thought it was unimportant. He was having way too much fun!

Not expecting to be discovered so quickly, Desert was not ready for the advance of the pup. He struggled to free himself of the bush's scratchy branches. He was almost out, but with a small yelp, he realized that his back foot caught somewhere and he had to waste time to poke his muzzle back there and free the limb. By the time, he looked up, he knew there was no way he would escape if he tried to run, so he just stood there, ready to take whatever was coming.

Shock pounced him before jumping off and doing the same again. She was slightly mean as it couldn't be too helpful for the pup to be slaughtered by pouncing. She was harsh and seemed to have nothing of a heart so doing this to the other pup really meant nothing to her what so ever. "Barrel! Come join the fun!" She said while giggling, her eyes fixed on the pup she continoully pounced.

Barrel looked over at Shock with his crazed gray eyes. "Whatcha got?" He asked curiously as he bounded over to her, his tongue now lolling from his mouth, dripping with drool. Gray eyes looked down at the pup that Shock had grounded. His smile grew wider wagged his tail playfully. "Let me have a go!"

Desert yelped and tried to get away. This pup did not seem to care whether she was hurting him or not. He began to wonder whether he should have stayed back at the cave....
"Get off of me...you're hurting me..." he struggled to say as he was continually pounced. His eyes opened wide when he saw the other pup was going to join in on the "fun" as well, and he tried even harder to escape.

Shock laughed as she jumped off him and out the way just as Barrel got onto the pup, this was fun! She knew she would find something to do. Her tail was wagging behind her as she watched Barrel have his fun and the other pup squirming beneath. This was interesting!

Barrel placed his forepaws on the pup's chest, pinning him down as best as he could. He watched the funny-looking pup squirm beneath him, with curiousity in his eyes. He backed off the pup, allowing him to run off, but planning on chasing him. Though nobody else knew what he was planning.

As soon as he was let up by the female pup, the grey one pinned him down. He winced, expecting a new set of bruise-inducing pounces, but was surpised, when he felt the weight on his chest lift and saw the grey pup get off of him. Was this pup kind, and letting him go? Not waiting around to see if either of the pups would change their minds, he started to head back to the cave at a quick trot

She had no idea what Barrel was planning but raising her maw to the sky and letting out a small howl she soon turned and ran after the escaping pup. That was her toy running away! That wasn't fair!! She pouted slightly but it didn't matter he wouldn't get too far, "HEY TOY!! GET BACK HERE!!!" She screeched when he didn't stop.

"HEY! I WANTED TO CHASE HIM!" He bounded after Shock and the other pup. Dispite how hyperactive he was, he was quite pudgy around the middle. That slowed him down compared to the others. "Grr...I wanted him!" His chubby legs continued to follow them, hoping to get a chance to tackle the funny colored wolf. Barrel didn't want Shock to have all the fun...

Seeing that the female was starting to chase him and was calling him her "toy," he lengthened his stride and ran as fast as he could, despite the painful bruises. Then he heard the grey male say something ablut wanting to chase him. It had just been a ruse...He knew that if he didn't escape now, the bruises would just continue to add up. As he ran, he wondered what it was about these pups that made them want to hurt him. He ran for quite a ways, hoping to lose the pair, but when he could take it no longer, he slowed and collapsed on the ground, breathing heavily.
