It had been a time and a half since King Bowser had met Gekko Go. Sure, they'd seen each other here and there. Bowser had given her reports on his kingdom (which, last time he'd seen her, she was still his only koopling, but that's not what HE'D said, oh no, he spoke of his wonderful growing empire). She had asked permission to go off with some guy. He'd given that permission, giving some sort of outlandish blessing in the process.
He hadn't permitted her to just go and disappear though! Now he had three cubs to look after, and he needed her. He figured if he was teaching them kingdom matters, she could learn too. And maybe she could...help him with the cubs...
He'd lost hope of finding her again, actually. Oh, well. That was her den destroyed when the kingdom grew. He couldn't help the traitors out.
Today, Bowser was lumbering around, mentally calculating his moves and his kingdom. He had to grow familiar with the territory now. When the time was right, he would strike. But now it was time for intelligence gains. This land didn't work like the last land (if it had, he'd ahavealready found a way to give Gekko her wings she so desire), and it was important to learn its ways.

Gekko Go wasn't sure what she was supposed to do. She was happy with Abrar, and in her mind she had already made the final decision to stay with him. It wasn't like she wanted to give up her dream of being able to sore the skies again, it was just that she would save that for later in her life once she had fufilled everything she wanted to do as a four-legged walker.
One thing had already been fufilled. She had a family now. Two beautiful cubs, one son and one daughter. She adored them with all she had, but she knew from the beginning she would be in debt to Bowser for leaving.
So, that's why she was moving slowly across the land, a small black and green cub trotting slowly at her side.
TypeZERO.
Named after the beautiful mecha that she remembered only faintly. Ah, her daughter already seemed show great potential. Bowser was sure to be happy with this replacement.
"It won't be much longer, Zero."
There was only a soft sigh as a reply. Gekko Go didn't seem to worried though. TypeZERO wasn't much of a talker.
"There, There he is!"
The plane lioness exclaimed as she saw the familiar form of Bowser in the distance. She could even feel the vibrations of his lumbering pulsing through the ground.
"Wait here."
She ordered her daughter before quietly approaching her friend.
"Hello Bowser. Long time, no see."

"Gekko Go! Where have you been?" Bowser immediately half-roared his demand, stalking over to go 'round her, "I thought for sure you were kidnapped and held captive by a maniac!"
He sniffed around at her, "I've had no luck in changing anything into planes." He sounded regretful about that, "I just don't understand, though I mean to keep my promise." He eyed her, "Should you keep yours."

Gekko Go flinched slightly as he came towards her, but managed to hold her ground. Shuffling her paws, she threw a quick glance over her shoulder before answering,"I'm sorry, Bowser. I thank you for your concern, but I think....plans have changed."
That sounded about right. Plans have changed, because...they have! She couldn't be running around trying to help him build a kingdom when she had a family to care for. She shook her head lightly, watching as he sniffed around her, doing her best to hold still.
"I can't serve you anymore. I'm sorry. I have...a family. I just don't think it would be right for me to continue on with this."
She paused for a second, and turned to beckon TypeZERO forward. The young cub approached, slowly and surely.
"This is....TypeZERO. She...I hope you will accept her as my replacement. I'm sure you will find her suiting for the role."
Gekko Go held Bowser's gaze steadily, hoping.

Bower's eyes narrowed when she said plans had changed. They had not changed! He was still going to rule the--- Family? He wrinkled his nose. That would mean she wouldn't be able to help him raise up the cubs that had fallen out of the sky and were now following him around and--- Oh, another cub.
Gekko Go's plans had changed because she had a family, but now she was giving that family away.
Bower raised an eyebrow, "Do you take me for a fool?" He snarled, "Or did you just have so many cubs you couldn't take care of them all yourself?"
He sniffed at the funny thing. She sort of looked all.... glowy... He liked glowing things. That's why he liked to live in stone castles with fire for lamps. He'd never seen a cub glow before though.
"TypeZERO?" He grumbled. Moms and their foolish notions of what a good name was. Didn't sound like the sort of champion he wanted.
"Are you being held captive?" He demanded. That was another option, of course.
Why else would he be turned down?
