"Historically" accurate patterns (or somewhat close)

I am on a passionate quest to find some old historically accurate patterns that I can sew, knit/crochet, or just make. I have only found a few at the moment and was wonder if anyone else has had luck with finding some old patterns or crafts.

So, have you made or had wanted to make something?
Wanna share were you got it or how you did it?

Which period are you aiming for? I've got some sources for historical clothing reproduction pieces that are simply to die for. biggrin Just have to find them.....

I also really like the patterns in The Tudor Tailor. So far I've made two hats and am working on a doublet, but I have quite a few plans for making some of the other pieces too.

If you're looking for Victorian patterns, some people have scanned Victorian magazines like Godey's and Peterson's. Some have patterns for clothing and knitting and some other crafts for women.
