Elder's Chambers

Upon climbing the final set of stairs, you are faced with 3 doors. Each with a name. This is where you can find the race Elders. But do not enter their rooms without knocking, for they might not be as forgiving as usual. (We will have our rooms in this thread.)

The Chambers:

Rikku's room
The carpet red like most of the coven, the room itself is pretty bare aside from the raised pedastool in the centre on which a long mahogany coffin with golden trimmings is placed. The inside, red velvet. Purely for comfort. A red silk drap over the top, it is usually closed.
The room dimly lit, the whole feel of it was somewhat eerie.
Along the left hand wall, there are multiple bookcases and shelves. Full to the brim with old books, notes, manuscripts and diaries, mostly written in French. In the far corner there is a table and chair. But nothing much else apart from silk drapes hung, was visable in the room. The rest she kept hidden, or in her coffin with her as she slept.

Rogue's room
The floor is of dark emerald marble slabs. The walls have ebony trim lining the floor and are black as well. On the far side of the room, an ebony coffin sits, the inside lined with emerald silk.

Several paintings hang all over the black walls, each with ebony trim and hand painted by Kaei over the years. Some were hundreds of years old.. In the corner, by a large window with black curtains that are drawn during the day, there is a liquor cabinet stocked in full. There is also a large closet where Kaei keeps some of her prized weapons, as well as clothes. A large ebony desk and bookcase sit in the corner of the room full of papers, financial notes, books...some more personal items are kept hidden.

Alexz's room
Alexz's room is rather modern. Brasilian walnut flooring spans throughout the room. A large king sized bed sits in the center of the furthest wall on a black frame which has a basic headboard and a low footboard; the silk comforters and silk pillowcases are silver but the sheets and the throw blanket are a deep crimson red. There are two floor to ceiling windows on either side of the bed are covered by thick crimson drapes. There are two plain black side tables on either side of the bed, one of which holds a handmade silver clock and the other which is empty.

Tiny shelves adorn the black and white striped walls, most of them filled with books, old photographs of herself, and small silver sculptures. Against the left wall in the corner closest to the door is a sleek, black desk. Various papers are piled up neatly in the left hand corner of the desk. Her extra gun lays on the right side of the desk, with handmade bullets beside it. The center is empty.

In the right corner closest to the door is a black couch with red and silver pillows facing the wall the door is on, where a plasma screen TV is hanging. There is a silver rug in front of the couch on the floor and there is a low horizontal bookcase a little off the floor.

-the outside of Vel's dark door flickered for a second, the suspended coffin opened suddenly, and Vel Emerged, he hoped out and made his way to his desk, lieing his 50.cal next to his laptop, he powered it on, and began some more research into this "plague" he was soo close-

Sat in her coffin happily, she flicked through a few old manuscripts by candlelight. Mumbling something in French under her breath. Her eyes closing, she clung to the manuscripts subconsciously, her thumbs stroking over the paper. Her hair tied back scruffily, she curled up slightly, resting her head against the open lid of the coffin.

Singing softly under her breath, she was flicking through a book while standing beside her bookcase.

"Elle a disparu.. Il n'en.."

She drifted off, her eyes turning towards the window. Did she sense who she thought she did..?

He glances up at the window, catching a glimpse of a figure standing there before stepping inside the building and deciding to take the elevator, shaking a light bit of rain from his pitch black hair. He arrives on the top floor and calmly steps out of the confined space, striding swiftly down the corridor. He turns to face his door, plunges his hand into his pocket and begins to search for a key. After removing the key from his pocket, he looks back down the corridor for a while and moves back. Standing outside the next door along, he knocks gently and waits.

Her gaze following where she sensed him, she opened the door almost immediately after he knocked. Dropping her book, she looked rather shocked.

"...Kyrre..?!"

Her voice faltered. Her hair was hanging neatly ovr her shoulders, as usual and she wore a dark vest and some snug fitting leather trousers. Her feet were bare for now.

'mhmm..' he replied calmly, smiling warmly. "I've been away, as you probably noticed. Picked up a nice sun-tan. I trust you've been keeping the vampires in check?" he asks politely. "And the dogs, too" he adds, smirking. After pausing a while, he says in a less formal manner "good to see you again".

"You could have left a note.."

She seemed rather speechles, he cold blue eyes fixed on him.

"I got worried when Vel told me he hadn't seen you... Everything's in order, I trust you missed any infection..?"

She checked him over with her eyes. No. No sign of symptoms.

"It's.. Good to see you too.."

She smiled a bit. She had missed him, and he certainly looked well.

"Note?" he repeats, shaking his head. "You sound like a mother!"
He connects her mentioning of 'infection' with the unmistakeable stench of disease he smelt in the park. "Takes more than that to get to me" he says proudly, smiling as she checked him over briefly, pretending to know exactly what had happened - as would anyone. Afterall.. not many could not know about NYC being ridden with plague, unless they'd been in a hole or something for the last few months.

"Anyways.." he starts, after a period of thought. "I need some rest quite desperately, it has been a very long.." he tries to think of a word.. "walk.. back.." he lies. "Goodnight, i'll speak to you properly soon. Then begin my business as usual." Waving his hand lightly at her, he bows politely and walks back towards his room.

Leaning against the door, she smiled warmly, her eyes still watching him.

"Good night."

She spoke softly, staying at her door until she was sure he was in his room. Closing her door quietly, she slowly bent down, retriving her book from the floor and opening it again. Her singing resuming.

It is a good night, isn't it, Rikku... Cady unmistakable voice rings through Rikku's head. Thou Cady was no-where to be seen, with this mental conversation, there was no doubt that it was Cady who was speaking... the words carried his... 'essence' like a signiature that couldn't be forged. Do you believe yet that I live? Surely you must...

Stopping dead, she dropped her book once again, her eyes widening with shock. Looking around, she felt a shiver go down her spine. No... He couldn't be.

Scrambling into her coffin, she pulled the lid over quickly, trying to force herself to sleep.

-he herd the conversation outside, but did not pry, he continued to work at his desk, but then, when the book was dropped and he herd a slamming, it was not the slamming of a door, something, harder, he hoped from his desk and opened his door, peering out, he felt someone, Kyrre was back, this made him happy, but there was, something else in the air-

Curled in her coffin slightly, he gently ran her fingers along the smooth lining. In her mind, she was going throuh a mass of things. Her family. Her past... He future... Her eyes closing softly, she slowly pushed the lid up as she sat up, reopening her pale blue eyes and glancing round her room. It seemed so empty.
