Walking over the snow, leaving no prints in the snow, the ghost ichsa snorted irritably. Winter was a horrible season. It should never be snowy out. Granted he couldn't feel anything because he was, well, dead, but he still hated the snow. So being dead did have it's advantages, and one of them was being able to scare others. One of his specialties was to become invisible should he choose too. When he did this, the last things that changed to being unseen were his bright red eyes. Vlad found that this was what scared others the most, seeing the floating red objects before they disappeared.
Before long he began to hear someone talking to what he thought was another nequus. He paused a moment, to allow himself to make himself unseen. Once completed he made his way to where the talking was, only to be surprised by what he saw. It was another ichsa, a stallion, talking to himself. Not just talking, but complimenting himself. Vlad could not believe what he was seeing. Was it really possible for someone to be this vain? Seriously?

Perun had managed to find a puddle in which he could look at himself in the reflection. He was enjoying complimenting himself, and telling himself that he was the most beautiful in the land. "I'm so pretty! Oh yes I am! Who is that handsome stallion there? Of course! That's me!" He flipped his hair back as he looked up for a moment from the reflection in the puddle.
"Oh Sonata! We shall have the most beautiful foals in the land! Of course they won't be as beautiful as myself." Perun smiled happily as he thought about the future foals he knew would happen eventually. If he could only get his betrothed to stop running away from him. Sighing, he looked back down at the puddle, and seeing his reflection, he started to compliment himself once again. Such a vain creature he was.

The ghost ichsa stood there, his mouth wide opened as he listened to this vain stallion talk to himself. There couldn't possibly be anyone this vain could there? Vlad couldn't help but wonder if this stallion every drove anyone insane. Even just listening to the other talking was starting to get on his nerves. But still he listened to the continuous complimenting until something caught his attention.
A mare? Foals? If the ghost ichsa knew any better, he thought that maybe this mare wasn't stupid enough to hang around the likes of this vain stallion. Let alone have foals with the thing, but perhaps Vlad himself could be of assistance. "Ah such a vain creature you are. What makes you think that this mare of yours will ever have foals with you?" He said, his voice ringing out, but his body still invisible to any who looked.

Perun had been just about ready to compliment himself once more when he heard someone talking to him. He looked around, but saw no one around. "Who...who's out there? And of course she would have foals with me. How could she not? I'm the most beautiful stallion around." Even while trembling slightly with fear, the purple and black stallion still talked highly of himself. Deep down though, he had a feeling that this unseen voice was right.
"Come on and show yourself, or do you fear that you may be to ugly to show yourself to such a beautiful stallion as myself?" Perun tried to sound bold and confident as he spoke, his vanity showing with every word. Perhaps after he made this unseen speaker go away, he could contemplate on how to get the children he desperately wanted from his betrothed. It was all he wanted at this point in his life. Foals with the second most beautiful thing in the land.

Vain and scared, such a wonderful combination. Vlad snickered to himself before he made his way up to the stallion, and leaned in as far as he could near the ear. "There's no one here except yourself, oh vain stallion. You are the only living thing around." He backed up as he watched the vain stallion panic slightly and move sideways, away from the voice that had been near his ear.
"To be vain is a sin. Did you not know this? Being vain also makes you look quite ridiculous. Why do you think that pretty mare of yours wants nothing to do with you." Vlad spoke in a harsh voice, as he allowed his red eyes to appear before Perun for a few moments before making them vanish. "If I were to show myself, it would not be me running away. It's just simpler if I stay hidden." That and the ghost ichsa was just having to much fun tormenting the other stallion.

Perun was now feeling quite panicky and not as confident as he had been trying to be. Especially after the unseen voice started talking right in his ear! What did it mean when it said that he himself was the only living thing around? He had heard stories of ghosts but always believed them to be made up stories and not real. All this vain stallion wanted to do now was run for his life, but his hooves seemed cemented to the ground and wouldn't move.
"I..I...I would not run away. Are you alive or..or..are y..y..you dead?" Perun stuttered as he spoke to the invisible voice. This thing kept talking about his Sonata love, and the more it talked, the more Perun began to believe it. But he would never change his vain ways, it was what made him...him. "Pl..please show y..yourself."
