We all know them. Are they worth it?
My own opinion is...no, sets are not worth it. They're a nice little bonus to have if you happen to like using four rings from one anyways - but if you don't, the minimal bonuses are not worth carrying around even one ring of dead-weight.
Furthermore, I'd argue that some of the sets are literally useless. The largest offender is the Medic set, where when you are carrying three of the game's five healing rings...you get a health regeneration bonus. stare

Well, I wouldn't say ALL of them are useless...
For example, angelic set boosts luck. If I'm right, there is NO ring that helps you with luck. I also like pirate because you're using a ton of offensive rings and you get an added footspeed bonus, meaning that one of your remaining four rings doesn't have to be a fleet feet or a coyote spirit if you like to move fast.
The medic one though, that is pretty lame.
And Solar Trooper boosts weight when you're already carrying a My Density? <_<
I've never actually tried a set though, so I'm not totally sure.
Although to me as long as you have a high level fitness ring, you really don't need a set. I have a CL 6.something and my stats take a noticeable drop when I take it off. I've heard others with Fitness say that having one pretty much makes sets useless.

I have fitness, and I agree with it making them useless. We're relatively sure that it adds to luck as well, BTW, but since luck is very hard to measure....
Be fair though please Mia, I didn't say all of them are useless. Just that some are - and the others aren't worth having rings you don't like. ^^''

Here is my opinions
Ninja - Worth it if you have the rings.
Pirate - Keen Eye kinda ruins it in my eyes. *no pun intended*
Shaman - Not sure what this set does again but it has some pretty lame rings. Hornets nest is the crappy and version of water balloon
Demon - Really worth it if you liek to burn up stamina but the problem is Iron Will seemingly the 2nd most useless ring in the game right ahead of healing halo.
Angel - So-So since while it does increase luck it basically only has 2 good rings cause halo and hunter are so horrible.
Medic - Dumbest set in the game, period.
Athlete - Meh no good rings except fitness not much of a increase in health either.
Prankster - Water balloon is a lagger, improb sphere isn't really worth it, uh I can't remember what the other 2 rings are.
Chef - without knife sharpen I would love this set to death
Space Trooper - Worthless set boost, shitty rings. guns, density like they threw what they had left in this set. When do you ever need a weight boost? Drums and...uh...yeah thats it I think and the funniest part is that fitness level 7(I think) has a higher weight boost then the set boost xD
