I have had the same dream at least once a year for the past six years, and it creeps me out and gives me this feeling of doom. o.o It always begins in the school I am in at the time and we’re in class, but all the lights are out. We’re working diligently on a project that the teacher assigned us (building houses out of toothpicks). All of a sudden, we hear a scream, and the teacher leaves the class telling us to keep working. At this point, I usually get the feeling of déjà vu, but I’m not really aware that I’m dreaming. The teacher doesn’t return, so some of the students decide they’re going to leave the classroom.
I’m left in the classroom with a handful of people. Everything is silent, and we’re waiting for the others to return. Then a boy just drops dead. No wheezing, no coughing, nothing to signal that he was going to die—he just died. Somehow we figure that something invisible is killing the students and that it has already found out the order that it was going to kill everyone.
So, we try to escape it. We ran out of the room at that point and split up into two groups. One was heading to the cafeteria to exit the school from there, and my group was heading towards the gym on the other end of the school (this changed when I changed schools). People continue to die off in my group until I am left alone in the dark with this feeling that I’m going to be the next one to die. It’s like I can feel that whatever was killing everyone else was just up the hall from me.
I wake up right then with that same feeling that I’m going to die. I can’t really figure out if it’s trying to tell me something or not. V.v
I would greatly appreciate some help on this. :[

Recurring dreams usually mean that you have ignored a problem or issue for a long time.
www.dreammoods.com might help to find the answers.

That could make a pretty badass movie.
But all joking aside, lets start with the first factor; school. To dream that you are in school signifies feelings of inadequacy and childhood insecurities that have never been resolved. It may relate to anxieties about performance and abilities. If you are still in school and dream about school, then it will naturally serve as a backdrop to your dream world. Or it could just be nothing, a simple setting.
Next, toothpick houses [Ha, wow, that's funny.] To see toothpicks in your dream, suggests that you are too picky -excuse the pun? It also indicates that you needlessly dwell on minor flaws, faults, and other small issues. To dream that you are using a toothpick, denotes your role in the downfall of a friend. And you're building a house, so maybe the students are all building thier own shelter of faults. School is full of these kind of judgments, and to individually make toothpick houses ultimately leads to the downfall of 'death'?
Okay, now for the boy's murder. To see someone dying in your dream can mean that you may want to repress an aspect of yourself that is represented by the dying person, but I'm pretty the only thing you'd want to repress is his death in general.
Okay, now for the killer. To see a killer in your dream, suggests that an essential aspect of your emotions have been cut off. You feel that you are losing your identity and your individuality. Alternatively, this dream may represent purification and the healing process. You are standing up for yourself and putting a dramatic end to something. But in this case you didn't see your killer, so...
Invisible To dream of invisiblity signifies feelings of not being noticed or recognized for what is important to who or what is invisible. Whatever it is feels overlooked. Alternatively, it may be trying to withdraw from the realities of life. Or perhaps the killer is an aspect of yourself that is trying to be recognized, but can't, beacuse your fleeing from it.
Death To dream that you are being threatened, signifies that you have some internalized fear of inadequacy which needs to be addressed.
To dream of your own death, indicates a transitional phase in your life. You are becoming more enlightened or spiritual. Alternatively, you are trying desperately to escape the demands of your daily life.
To dream that you have been killed, suggests that your actions are disconnected from your emotions and conscience. Alternatively, the dream refers to drastic changes that are happening in your life. There is a characteristic that you want to get rid of or a habit that you want to end within yourself. Killing represents the killing off of old parts of yourself and old habits.
But you weren't killed, so maybe whatever aspect of yourself that should be let into your life to resolve any issues is being pushed away.
Or it could just be a wild, crazy, random dream that has no particular meaning, but I doubt that since it's reoccurring. Hope it helped somehow. :]
