BEGIN TRANSMISSION


It seems that our most anticipated thing on Gaia wound up completely destroying our activity. But don't worry, my comatose comrades (or CC/C2, no Code Geass reference intended); I'm still checking in every day, keeping the place relatively dust free. I even got a new toaster for our waffles. If anyone sees this and would like to discuss anything, I'll be here.

Aside from working, I've mostly been reading and/or watching semi-random mangas/animes, and playing Gears of War 2, Left 4 Dead, and a bit of Call of Duty: World at War. Not having Xbox Live, I finally was able to play Gears system linked. It was great for the whole three matches it lasted.

EDIT: Oh, and M.U.G.E.N. I don't know how I forgot to mention that. I recentlyish downloaded it, and now I want to make my character for it, but I don't think I'll have the time. Either way, it's great. I need controllers for it so I can do versus.

I have one, but my friend doesn't and there's no way I'm bringing my computer over there every day. Plus, keyboards are uncomfortable for anything that's not typing. Especially with the num-pad. There are cheap ten dollar ones I plan to get if I can ever get to Target, which I happen to have $90 worth of gift cards for.

In other news, the same friend found his lost SoulCalibur IV, and I proceeded to win every single match I played. And this one guy hasn't uploaded volume five of Lucky Star yet. It's been out for two days! He was always on time!

I basically just have whatever characters I would use and those that my friends' request so they may someday use, as well as certain characters put in just because. They're sorted by: Kung Fu Man, normal characters, normalish characters, just-because anime/manga characters, other just-because characters, and extra cheap just-because characters. Some characters fit into multiple categories. I don't have a screenpack at the moment, but I'll need one soon as the roster nears full.

If I get the time and can manage to figure out exactly what moves I would like and how they're going to look, I'll start making my own character's sprites pixel by pixel. Who knows how long that may take though.

It seems I can only access the Kingdom Hearts characters. Either way, I'm more interested in less popular, but still well known things, like Haruhi, and the decent Lucy(from Elfen Lied) that someone's in the process of creating. Thanks anyway, though. Now if I had my character...

...I can't seem to decide on a stance for it though.

I actually visit Mugen-Infantry quite often. Most of the linked sites for downloading are hard to naivgate due to them being in Japanese or some other nuisance, so I've been using esnips for things I can't get there. Unfortunately, my WinRAR trial runs out, like...tomorrow, and there are are a rather large amount of .rar mugen files floating around.

As for my character, it's what my avatar's previous appearance was supposed to resemble. He shall wield a sword; a black, guardless tachi to be exact. Weaker attacks will be comprised of pokes and single-handed swings, with the stronger ones being full powered two-handed slashes and impales. Some of the normal specials will include the use of dark energy claws and arm blades. I was thinking of using the military he commands for some of his supers, like calling in a tank to the side of the screen. His most powerful attack will be an overcharged handfull of dark energy, that damages himself as well. Think of it as the dark equivalent to the Chidori and Rasengan. Or like a more painful Warlock Punch.

Now, I don't have Photoshop, so I hope Paint won't be a problem with making the sprites useable. And I have no idea what I'm going to do for the sounds.

Ah, Mugen... how long I have known your existence... sadly, I've never played it.
