Almas had brought the boy back to the room that he and his son stayed in after their meeting with Vampy's sister... he had been sleeping so deeply, didn't even seem to react at all to being carried from one place to the other, nor did he react when he was laid down and tucked in. Then again after what he'd been through it was no surprise... Almas was just glad that the woman had thought to make it so he wouldn't recall had happened to him... it wouldn't be fair for him to have to deal with the first memory of his life being someone trying to kill him.
Almas settled down into a seat, watching him for a while before he dozed off... and Luthor sat on the floor, coloring on his paper, watching the new kid with a bit of a dislike in his eyes... along with something like sympathy. Hard for him to process both feeling bad for someone and not liking them so he opted to try to ignore him for the moment. He would color instead he thought to himself, drawing pictures of his Daddy when he was sleepy, of his Auntie with what looked like big balls on her chest in the drawing, and one picture of the monster man that was crumpled up and thrown aside.
His mother didn't seem his normal self on the way back, looked... was lost the right word? Angry too... neither emotion looking as though it should be on the Fallen's face. Luthor didn't like it... he was acting strangley and it was all because of the boy in the bed... no... all because of that scary man that tried to kill them all with that glass. Luthor gave a shiver at the thought then pushed it away... not wanting to think about it, he just wanted to color...

Perhaps after an hour lying in the bed without a sound or movement he finally stirred. What a strange sensation...to open your eyes and feel like someone blinding you, a sharp intake of breath whisteled through his teeth like a hiss. He shut his eyes instantly, but saw spotting behind his eyelids. Opening his eyes didn't help any more. His arms felt...like lead he reached a hand up to smash his fists into his eye sockets. It helped some..but now his eyes hurt.
And what was this itchy stuff laying on him? Removing his hands from his eyes he went to push himself up and looked alarmed. Half his body was...covered by this itchy annoying stuff. It wasn't alive...it smelt funny too. His ears twitched as he heard the strangest sound. Actually everything around him seemed surreal. Turning his head he spotted the source of the sound instantly. His eyes narrowed, and if he would of had hackles they would of been raised.

Luthor's crayon paused on the paper when he heard a shifting sound from the bed, turning to look toward it and watched as the kid there seemed to be flailing around... he starred... watching him as he seemed to be trying to knock his eyes out...? Then he was looking around. The spawn blinked a couple times before giving a snort, "Your awake." He murmured, stating the obvious.
Was he supposed to be happy? It was... good, yes? He wasn't bleeding anymore, wasn't shaking, didn't look like he were going to die... he was awake, was alive. It should be a good thing he decided then looked down at the paper and started to move the tip of the crayon over it again, "Daddy will be happy." He seemed to be the only one that would be... that scary man had been the one to try to kill the scaly kid after all.
His crayon snapped in half and he gave a sigh, tossing it aside to get himself a new one.

The kid looked over as Luthor spoke. His whole body was tense...as if he wasn't sure how to react. The words seemed loud. So use to ...what? He couldn't recal. Who he was...what he was...why was he here...and...who was Daddy? Shifting on the bed he didn't reply...instead he slid forward and allowed his legs to dangle off the side of the bed before he went to steop on solid ground.
Though he didn't stand. Instead he squatted down instantly as if he couldn't hold his weight. He peered at Luthor inquisitively...his initial hostility fading away as the other spoke. Hearing the crayon snap though he paused a moment or two before be began to very slowly pad towards the other.
Walking very similarly like a cat may...although awkwardly.

Luthor looked up when he heard the sound of the other kid shifting again, slidding off the bed, and then the noise got loud, as the other came closer and closer. He lifted his gaze again to stare at him. He was... a strange looking kid wasn't he? Though Luthor supposed he couldn't really talk could he?
"Do you want to color?" He asked of the kid when he got closer. The way he was moving was... strange, which had Luthor wondering if maybe he didn't know how to walk and that was why he was crawling like that...? He had no clue so he found himself watching the other boy, eyes unblinking. He looked like... a kitty, like the strays he saw outside when he was playing.
He had the same sort of golden eyes like a kitty too... his Daddy had said his name was Pepper didn't he? Pepper didn't sound like a kitty name though.

He stopped a moment sitting on his haunches as Luthor stared at him, and he stared back..now that his eyes had adjusted to the light. He tilted his head to the side when offered to color with him.
".....C..c..o..looor?" he imitated the word, his own voice sounding strange to him. Did he always sound like this? He padded forward again looking up at Luthor all the while. Even as he did this he looked more interested in looking under the table...that was where Luthor's feet where. Something made him want to check them out.
Perhaps because his own feet looked so very different. He paused as he compared them, his were large...and taloned...that other ones...were pale...and rather boring. Putting a hand on the table though he raised his gaze to watch Luthor.
"Color...?"

Luthor watched the other demon as he looked under the table, tilting his head to the side to look under it as well... wondering what was under there that could be so interesting... and when he looked under the other kid was already looking across the table again. He shook his head before sitting up again, "Yes, color." He held a color out to him, "Use this to color pictures on the paper." He held up the picture of his Auntie for Pepper to see.
"Drew this one of Auntie." He said, giving a smile, quite proud of himself because it looked just like her! Or at least it did to him.

Pepper looked at the strange figure drawn on the papper, that...was an auntie? He looked a bit confused though he took the crayon and looked it over a moment. He tested his teeth on it...and the look on his face described how utterly horrid it must of tasted like. He then looked to the papers on the table and reached for one but...as he wasn't sitting in a chair couldn't reach it at all. Dropping his crayon he watched it hit the table and then roll off the table top.
He blinked a couple of times before he went to follow it...his head dipping back under the table. He crawled under the table trying to aquire the crayon that has been given to him. Instead...he saw those...pale feet. He stared at them a moment before he shuffeled himself closer to them. Reaching out he went to touch one.

Luthor blinked a couple of times, starring at Pepper and then lifted a hand up to smother a giggle as the other boy tried to taste the crayon. From the look on his face it didn't taste good at all... he watched the crayon as it was dropped and rolled away from Pepper, "Your not supposed to..." He trailed off when the other was off to crawling under the table again.
What a weird boy he thought before he gave a squeak and a giggle as Pepper messed with one of his bare feet and he pulled them both up to sit cross legged on the chair before he was peeking under the table again, "Not nice, tickling when I can see." He told Pepper.

As the feet were pulled out of reach he offered a growl of annoyance, but even as he backed up to try and get himself out from under the table he found himself wedged under another chair. He heard his shoulder bones click against the wood as he shifted to try and move out of the way.
Click..click clack. clakk...
He wasn't doing so well with trying to get out. And his frusteration was getting the better of him. Offering a snarl he bit at the chair leg his teeth sinking into wood as he wresteled with the contraption that he managed to stop him.
Wood...wasn't much better than crayon...but he was too annoyed to care. Using his long claw like fingers to dig into the peice he was latched onto he tried to tare at it, he even tried to sit up but the bottom of the chair seat hit the table...HARD. The chair immediately hit the ground as if retaliating against the kid. Offering a cry of pain as one of the chair legs got his arm although it scrapped off his armor plates he continued to fight against the chair.
Slowly it was being wriggeled around far enough that he could sit up with it...though the weight of it instantly sent him bowling onto his back, the shoulder bones having looped around the divinding peice at the bottom.

Luthor blinked a couple times as the other chair started to move, figuring at first that the weird kid was messing with it. He shook his head... until Pepper started to snarl and flail about. Only then did Luthor slid down out of his chair, curious as to what in the world the other boy was doing... nothing prepared him for what he would see under the table.
Pepper was fighting it out in a one on one battle to the death against a piece of furniture... and soon enough Luthor was laughing, to the point he was finding it hard to breath and had tears in the corners of his eyes, "Ahh... hahaha... P-Pepper... your never... never gonna get out from under it like... like... that." He said between his giggles.
He cralwed after him when he fell over with his weird, shoulder things still stuck to the chair, holding him to it... and lifted a hand to rub at his eyes, "Ahh... haha... here... let me help?" He said, circling around the chair, trying to figure out how the other kid had gotten himself trapped like that.

Still snarling away at the peice of furniture that now had him pinned on his back he was trying very hard to sit up..but failing and he couldn't figure out why his shoulder bones were stopping him.
Clik clik clak click...
When he heard the laughing he stiffened his feet scrabling to grab hold...and doing a fine job of failing. Tile vs talons...tile one talons zero.
Though the sound of nail on tile was hard on the ears... grunting he went to try and reach for the peice keeping him there but the angle was too awkward.
The word help seemed to trigger a response as he nodded his head even as he snarled at the chair again.

"Chair doesn't like you." Luthor told him as he walked around him a couple of times trying to figure out exactly how the other kid had gotten himself stuck. He chewed on his lower lip before he reached over to see if he could disentable the curved bones from where they kept catching on the chair.
His eyes still held mirth in them but at least he had gotten his giggle to stop, "Lets see... maybe... hmm... try now?" He said when he thought he might have gotten it, one couldn't be certain until Pepper tried to free himself again.

The red skinned boy watched as Luthor tried to help him, he somehow was thankful and yet very annoyed at the earlier laughter. He felt his one side slip free as his weight on the one side pressed into the chair. Not waiting to see if the other was free he moved again rolling to the side...awkwardly trying to fit through the space between the legs...
But his other side was still attatched and when the wood slide enough to hit his back he seemed to loose it. It was like watching a wild animal trying to fight free of a preditor. A big..wooden one.. but still. He flailed and kicked and snarkeled. His teeth sinking into the wood several times.
C....RACK.
One of the chair legs had given under the weight of his foot pressing against it. The chunk of wood fell onto the floor with a clatter.

Luthor's eyes went wide at the sound and he quickly scrambled back, looking over to where his Daddy was then back to Pepper, "Y-You... you broke the chair!" He squeaked, going to fetch the leg that had been knocked off, looking it over. They were going to get into so much trouble for this he just knew it!
He looked back and forth, trying to figure out where they could hide the chair that they wouldn't get caught with its broken pieces... though still Daddy would surely notice more if the chair were gone, "What are we gonna do...?" He turned to point the leg at Pepper, "Bad Pepper! Your not supposed to break thing!"
