Aether stood in the middle of a lake watching the fish swim in between his feet. He smiled as they nibbled at the hair around his feet. He shifted a little and watched all the fish dash off thinking they were going to be eatin. "Awww little fishies i wont eat you. I promise." Aether said. But he walked deeper into the water, submersing him self as far as he could but still keep his feet on the ground. The water came up to just under his wings. It was a really hot day and Aether had been flying about alot trying to find a nice big lake to cool off in. He stretched his wings out over the water and let them just tough the water a little, cooling them off. He closed his eyes and smiled, relaxing in the nice water.

Sgina dragged her hooves on the hot day. She was feeling much better but heat had never done anything for her. Plus she was trying to remember everything that happened. She remembered wolves and wings, that was all. Victor had said something about a stallion that he chased off, but what did the stallion have to do with her and who was he?
Sgina drank from the lake while taking glances at he injuries. She must have been close to death, one eye was swollen from a bite mark and there were cuts and bites all over her. If she wasn't ugly before she was now. She had never much cared what she looked like before but these days it mattered to her for some reason.
A splash sound brought Sgina out of her thoughts. She looked down the lake a bit to see a soquili in the water. She blinked for a moment as the sun reflected off the shimmering surface before she got a good look at him. Memories flew through her head at the sight of him. She could see the events unfolding clear as it was happening. That stallion had saved her, not only that he had looked after her for a few days. What would make a stallion do such a thing? She didn't know him, nor did he know her! Why did he take care of her like they were family? Should she talk to him? Thank him? That wasn't something she was accustomed to. Her hoofs made the decision for her. She waded into the water towards him, it soothed the cuts on her flesh, but she payed it not much attention. Once she came to him she simply stood there in silence, she didn't know what to say, but the look on her face said it all.

Aether had been resting with his eyes closed in the heat when he heard splashing as something neared him. He opened one eye and saw the female from a few days ago coming over towards him in the water. He saw that her eye was still a little damaged and that she still had alot of cuts still but she looked better then when her son chased him away. He turned and opened both of his eyes with a wide smile. "Hello Sgina. I'm surprised to see you up and about now. How are you feeling?" He asked kindly as he walked over to her and checked her over for him self. He smiled as he looked at her eye closely to see how well it was healing. He thought she still looked amazing even though she had a swollen eye and cuts all over. "Its amazing how you can still look beautiful even after all you went through the other day." he said with a smile.

Sgina shifted her weight, but her confusion kept her from moving completely away from him. Though Sgina would not normally let someone so close to her.
"I uh...what?" Sgina was so confused he knew her name and still seemed worried about her. Did he just complement her looks? How could that be she looked horrible! And wait why was he being so nice?! What did he want from her?
"I guess a thanks is in order...Thanks...but I don't understand? Why would you do that? I mean risk your life and all. You don't know me? For all you know the world might have been better off without me... Why would you do such a thing for me? I have nothing to give, I just don't understand it......" Sgina muttered towards the end. She was thankful for sure, but why he did it weighted heavy in her thoughts.

Aether smiled at her. "I helped you cause everyone deserves to have a knight in shining armor." He said with a smile as he looked at her. He wanted to comfort her in some other way but he could tell that she didn't want him to get closer. "Do you not remember my name?" he asked her as he looked at her. The colors of her fur and the softness of her mane, she was so pretty. He smiled at her kindly. "I don't want anything back from you, I wanted to help cause you need it and i'm sure the world would not be better off with out you." he said. He wanted to nuzzle her and let her know it was ok that she nervous, and that he meant her no harm. But he kept his distance and waited foe her to ask another question if she had more of them. He didn't like seeing her look so upset and hoped that he could make her happier some how.

Sgina blinked was this stallion for real or was he just another loser. Her wings fluttered weakly in the water, something she did often when she was frustrated or confused.
"A what?....I...no...no I don't....I only just now remembered what you did when I saw you...........well I...sincerely ..thank you then.....you don't know me though..I've only ever caused pain in my family."
Sgina stared at Aether for a moment. She had felt an emotion like this before, but never so strong. This stallion had risked his life for a mare he didn't know when in the past she would have laughed while watching such a scene unfold. She felt upset with herself and full of admiration for him at the same time. Sgina inched closer without realizing it, the more she stared at him the more she felt pulled towards him. Sgina almost felt at peace around him, like his very presence calmed her thoughts of the past.
"What is your name?"

Aether watched her as she spoke and wondered why she would possibly think she shouldn't be here and be alive. She was far too beautiful to be thinking such horrible thoughts. He raised his eyebrow and looked at her. "My name is Aether." He said. He thought he had mentioned it at their last meeting but with everything that happened then he was sure she had forgotten that too. "And I don't need to know you to know that life is amazing and your much too young to be thinking like that. And you were in need of help, i couldn't just leave you. And i'm sure your family would miss you if something happened to you. Your son seemed to care for you very much so i'm sure he would have been very upset." He said as he moved closer towards her looking her over. His heart swam with emotion as he thought of this beautiful face being taken out of this world. He looked at her, closer to her, watching her pretty face with a small smile. "The world would be a little less bright with out you in it. I know mine would be less if you wernt there."He said softly.
