oh lord how interesting ok it is a lake in the middlef of the forest. Tabatha stepped forward out ofthe forest into the rays of a crimson sun, which shined across the lake as he stood impatiently waiting for his opponent. He had his signature silver shotguns with him. Feeling confident about the battle.

Very well. Let us commence. Also, my avatar is almost exactly what she looks like.
The crystal liquid within the medium-sized body of water quivered in reverence to its wielder as she stepped forward, out of the deep shroud of the forest, and into the clearing where her opponent stood.
Gabriela did not know her opponent's rank or element just yet, so she decided to play it safe and be ready for anything. She was clothed in a small, yet lavish, outfit. The cloth was pearl white and it was adorned with gold trinkets and borders. It may not seem like it, but every inch of her dress, leggings, and arm warmers was reinforced with chain mail on the inside. She had a gargantuan golden shield strapped to her back with jagged edges that stuck out at random intervals, that were also very sharp. A rather peculiar one stuck out to the mind's eye. It was a sort of hilt protruding from the shield that was rather stout and shone a dim blue.
The apprentice had her ocean-colored eyes set on Tabatha and her sea-mist colored light hair flew in the breeze. She drew, from the shield itself, a long icy blue blade and strung her shield on her arm, already calling water to her person as a form of early defense/offense.

same with me Tabatha toka quick moment to eye out his opponent, his right, grey surveying the very essence of her. His left eye which constantly changed colours fixated on red and began to measure up her power. Without a commencing sound he took a step forward his two guns cocked back at his waist ready to fire at her slightest move. He stepped until the winde began to blow. Some leaves had caught onto the wind passing him. As they passed on however he vanished behind the leaves. Now blended in with the environment he popped up in a tree behind gabriella and took footsteps as quiet sounding as the forest itself, his footsteps making no noise as he stepped on the rustic like grass.
He placed his hand on her shoulder and with his soft velvet voice he echoed the same word he had said to all his female opponents.
"You have lovely hair, mon cheri. Might you want to strike first?"

Ah, he also spoke the language... how interesting.
"Ah, Oui mon ami. Vous parle francais?" The words flew from her mouth and were trilled by her high soprano voice that rung like bells in the eerily quiet morning. No birds chirped, nor did frogs croak. It seemed as though the whole forest held it's breath, anticipating the clash of the two elements.
Gabriela twirled under his grasp, leaned closer to him and whispered "Adieu," in one small breath next to his ear and, using water, propelled herself to about a yard away. Precipitation gathered around the challenger and formed into thick spikes of water, usually used to distract an opponent. Gabriela swiftly bounded to the lake and stepped in it. The cool water lapped at her feet and she felt all of her worries wash away with just that minute touch of her born element. She sighed and closed her eyes. Gabriela concentrated and became almost one with the clear liquid.
With her piercing blue orbs closed she could see every body of water within the forest and had a clear vision of Tabatha and was locked into his particular water temperature. Tentacles shot from the surface of the lake and hovered around her, making a ghastly halo around her small frame.

Tabatha sighed in disappointment. He eyed her out from afar, unphased by her movements. "Madame, as spectacular as that was, i did not come to see your water show." His accent flared as he put extra emphasis on his words.
He backed up about a yard or two before placing his hands on the grass. He grabbed the little stubs like a saddle and began to feel the essence of the forest. He began to calculate towo things: how to get her away from the water and when he should strike. After a moment or two he figured himself out. His left eye had now turned green and he pulled out his gun on the lefthand side. He took to shots at her however they passed her and instead hit two trees. His bullets were infused with a special magic allowing him to manipulate when needed. He began to swirl his fingers about as the trees themselves began to uproot, turning into monsters at his command.
Tabatha pointed at Gabriel and this would begin his attack. The trees moved at fast speeds for their size jumping into the air. Once at a height where Tabatha was satisfied he withdrew his hold from the trees which were just about over his opponent. The trees began to fall ready to crush her.

"A Water show is what you'll---" The elder apprentice was cut off by the tree's sudden movements. She had felt the water within them become almost overcome by the magic, but now she had free reign over the enormous beings. Gabriela took over the liquid within the roots, the bark, and the leaves themselves, and threw them off-course with a jolt, which took a lot from her stamina.
Now, on the offensive. She coldly remarked and stepped away from the water source, but not too far. The coiling tails of the whips followed behind her and lashed out at the air with snake-like movements. Gabriela lifted her arm into the air and, almost regally, motioned towards tabatha with her hand. The jerk of her wrist acted almost like a switch, turning the slow, almost drowsily moving spirals of water into vicious jets, the whole dozen aimed at Tabatha from odd directions.

Well, well, Tabatha remarked. His left eye switched colour yet again to a dark brown As he raised his hand to his sides. He then slammed then together with a force. Almost immediately a large rumble was heard as what seemed to be a small barrage of thick trees grew in front of him blocking off some of the force of the water leaving only droplets to hit his face. With a sharp look on his face he exclaimed, "Now it is my turn!"
The trees remained where he was and he stepped in front of them. An ominous green light began to come off the leaves of the forest as he absorbs nutrients from the trees. Once complete, he dissappeared in the bark reappearing in her area. He gave a snicker and took his first step. It was loud enoughfor her to faintly hear. Then he ran pulling the gun from his right side used to mortally wound his enemies. He Took a shot and ran right behind the shot attempting to leave her open.

An onslaught of curse words escaped the apprentice's mouth when the bullet penetrated her body. With her sword, she dug into the bullet wound and pricked the small projectile out. A heavy sigh and a shudder accompanied her gasps for air while water seeped into the gash, sealing and ridding it of gunpowder. Gabriela mentally shook herself, she couldnt let a single battlewound get in the way of this.
With newfound resolve and determination, The apprentice parted her feet and, with another sigh, relaxed, letting her lids close over her eyes. Sword in one hand, shield in the other, she felt for the water within and around her person. Another second found her a living spike ball, every inch of her shield was covered in deadly spikes of water, her limbs were covered in spikes vertically on the outside also. In a mere moment, she was yards from Tabatha and running at him at full speed, aiming three consecutive slashes at him, and keeping her shield upwards, in hopes of catching him with it and perforating his flesh.

"Oh sh-" The curse did not finish coming out of Tabatha's mouth. For an instant he had a time to think. He channeled all his energy to his feet and slammed into the shield. His body obliterated as he blew into a thousand rose petals. A poisoning scent was released from the petals. " This is the power of the forest madame."

"The power of the... what? Flower power?" She murmured almost comically and stepped away from the petals, what ever they had she didn't want.
With two leaps her skin met the cool liquid in the lake and she dived down, extracting oxygen from the bubbles around her by using the water as a guide, she remained underwater while she paused to think of her next move.
The next moment, two twin jets of pressured water shot out of the water and went straight for Tabatha, following him where ever he might go with the strength to pierce bones.

"oh dear, you don't understand do you?" The jet shot aimlessly through the petals. Tabatha was the petals himself. The jets began to break in the midst. Once finished he reformed back into his regular shape. "My dear, a brief interlude." He stepped closer to the lake. "You foolishly attack without thinking. If I actually thought you were going to kill me i would not be afraid, the way you are going." He kept his hands by his side holding his guns in case she should try anything. "My deari will let you strike first, and i want to see some calculated and well thought out so this can be a little more, dramatic."
With that he put a hand into the water and waited. take that aquafina!!!lol

His words did not reach the apprentice's ears and another onslaught of spikes was aimed at him. This time, the very foundation of the earth he stood on quivered and the water spikes shot from the ground.
Soon, the whole arena was filled with deadly spikes, all except for the water's surface...
Gabriela slowed down the molecules of water and let them stop almost completely, releasing her hold on the water as it froze over. Now, she could maneuver more of the transparent element around without having to focus on the sharp spikes.
