Ah, morning. Such a quiet time, peaceful, nothing making much noise.. It was s-
"WHY ARE WE UP SO GOD DAMNED EARLY, OLD MAN?!"
'They're going to yell 'eet eventually. Lazy little youngsters.' Ruul'dolph gave a soft grunt as he rolled onto his stomach then stood up slowly, giving himself a shake to rid his coat of any bits of whatever that might have clung to him from his slumber. His internal clock was yelling at him, "Up and at 'em, rise an' shine!" But on the outside, his old body was just groaning at the usual routine. 'Come on, mister. Let's get them up.' The aged Klipspringer told himself in his head, stretching out his hind legs quickly before giving a huff and looking around the place.
Hmph.
They were in the usual place: the regular old patch of Savannah grass, a few rocks and boulders scattered here and there, and.. dirt. Along with the usual mood: ...Boring. Hey, at least Ruul' had two companions, right? And who were they?
Mint'e, a tiny little shrimp, green as can be. And the other? Taga, an albino male with an attitude so happy it was contagious.
"Yep.. they're keepers." He muttered under his breath before puffing out his chest and giving a bleat. "Up and at 'em, y' two!"

Yes, the albino with a overly-happy attitude. Known for his attitude, he usually resorted to acting like a player, acting like he didn't care and was only acting like that to show people he cared, or the other way around. Being in a group made mainly on dysfunctional crazy- there always needed to be one in the group that kept the others happy. But lately, he was starting to feel the heat, and now he secretly resorted to letting his boredom over come him. Either way, he still tried to do his best in the attitude he carried. After all, if Taga wasn't with his attitude, then there would be no Taga in the group- no one to push everyone else around.
Well right now he was ready to push someone around. That certain someone was defiantly going to be the old gramps- the one that always got to him most. Sure, he respected him, but the hour they did stuff at was almost ridiculous and crazy? How could Mint'e stand it?
A groan left his throat as he peeked a pink eye open to stare at the brown pelted Ruul'doph, gaze resting on him as he stumbled to refocus his gaze. His hooves struggled to stand up, and right now he wished he had paws like those lions, or those leopards. It was always a challenge to wake up in the morning and attempt to stand it. He dreaded it, but managed every morning.
"Why so early?" He called towards Ruul'dolph. He never understood the gramp's way of sleeping. He slept, like, one hour- and woke up, the woke them up.
He sent a glare towards Mint'e, only for the fact he was still blurry-headed and couldn't focus on anything yet. Every morning everyone had to expect Taga to be in a bad mood.
Everyone was in a bad mood in the morning, right?
He supposed so.

Females? Mint'e knew females. He knew them inside out. The things that made them tick, what there buttons were, and how to get them in a cave. Females came naturally to him, like flying came natural to birds. Every group needs a player, right? Unfortunately though, said player didn't seem to work with an old man. And there was this one particular old man...
And speak of the devil, there came his voice. Again, waking them up at sunrise. This old man was ridiculous with his strange sleep pattern. And, just to spite the old fart, he wouldn't get up until Taga convinced him. Poor Taga though, he always had to be at the butt of things. He should give him a break one day. Maybe later.
Or now. Yeah, now would probably be good. He could feel those pink eyes on him in an unfocused glare. With a groan he lifted himself up onto his knees, and slowly got up hoof by hoof. Once his mint body was in an upright position, he blearily opened his emerald orbs half-way. He saw his albino companion, and the old codger that was the scourge of his life for this morning.
"Old man, this isn't a hit it and quit it situation. Go back to sleep." He muttered, stretching out his legs and yawning. He knew the old Klippy wouldn't, but he had to get one quip in.

Letting out a snort, the old male trotted up to the still half-asleep Taga, giving a prod at the albino's head with his nose. "Because!.. That's why." Ruul'dolph barked out with a huff, hopping back a few steps then leaping at Mint'e, snatching one of his ears in his maw and giving a yank at it. "Up and at 'em, shrimp~" He chirped out before backing away from the two and landing on his feet, wagging his stumpy tail all the while. The sound of the two's annoyed morning groans, their bleary eyes.. Ruul' let out a soft snigger at the sight of the two standing up slowly, the start of a mischievous grin appearing across his muzzle.
Ha ha! It was sort of fun waking the youngsters up.
At the mention of going back to sleep, he let out a huff, sternly shooting a chocolate eyed glare at the green shaded Klipspringer. "A little too late for that, kid." The male stated with a firm nod of his head, almost loosing his balance from the weight of his two horns firmly placed on his head, moving a front hoof to brace himself steady once more. "We have t' go and get some breakfast, then go out an' get you two working! The both of you wouldn't survive a day out 'n the wilds I used t' live in, with those sleepy heads." He impatiently gave a shuffle of his hooves, the small 'Thuds' sounding out softly in the dirt and pressed down Savannah grass.
Oops.
One of his legs gave out suddenly as he stepped on a smooth pebble, causing the old guy to fall onto his stomach with a grunt. 'Friggin' rock..' He thought to himself with a snort, his breath whipping up a small puff of a dust ball from the dirt below, causing him to let out a cough. "Er-hem." Ruul'dolph said simply after the unexpected cough, standing back up, hoof by hoof as Mint'e and Taga had a moment ago. After giving a shake once again, the old male puffed out his chest, taking in a breath.
Ah, mornings. Weren't they fun?
