Chehero moaned rubbing drool from the side of her mouth. Looking out a window to the side Chehero narrowed her eye's. "Midday already!?" annoyed that she had been sleeping that long she folded the book she had fallen asleep on closed. Getting up unsteady from the table she didn't look to amused with anything. She had been so tired the night before that she had passed right out. Blinking her eyes clear of the fogginess she st stretched. Defiantly a difference the past two days felt like she hadn't had a wink of sleep and it was really bothering her, not that this was uncommon or anything, this had been happening to her since she was five. Picking the book up off the table, she wandered over to her small satchel she had hung up by the bed the night before. Slipping the book among two other books in her satchel, she looked at her stash of medical supplies prepared on a shelf across the room from the bed. Shifting her eyes to the wardrobe by the door to her left, she shuffled over and pulled open a drawer two from the top. Pulling out a thick pair of winter clothing she quickly slipped into them, slowly moving over to the shelves. Chehero pulled out a few bottles of an odd liquid, one a detoxification, the other an antiseptic, the last a bottle nothing but an odd colored water. Pulling down a few boxes of bandages and one of needles and thread, Chehero then proceeded to store them in her satchel with the other three books. Pulling her hair back finally satisfied she was prepared she tied it up into a pony tail, green eyes followed to the window. Grunting she grabbed up her satchel and wandered to the window, having a difficult time pulling it up she grabbed up her "walking stick" not paying much attention to anything she fit herself smoothly through and lowered herself to the ground. Letting out a cough at the shock of the cold air Chehero began her way into town.

Talcom flew over the streets, landing on the roof of a nearby building. He lowered his head down and looked at the people below, smirking. He brushed his hair behind his ear with his claw and spotted a person that stuck out "Hmm?" he put his claws back on the roof, making a clicking noise and stared at her. Being mischeivous was his main forte but he also was quite curious towards the two-leggers as well. He could come up with perfect pranks by observing them and see what they had on them, if anything worthwhile.

Chehero brushed her clothes off, she was to far away to hear the clicking noise Talcom made as he moved. Shifting the weight of her dark brown satchel over to the other shoulder she gripped the staff tighter as her stomach gave a loud protest. She had forgotten to eat before leaving the house, pouting at her stupidity she debated weather turning back for food, or continuing onto town would be better. Glancing back at the house she squinted, that sure was one flashy bird. Rubbing her eyes at the thought of just her imagination from lack of sleep she stared for a moment heading back towards the house.

He leaned in towards the house "That was close." he said at the thought of almost being spotted. His eye gleemed toward her pack and he slid down the shingles a bit. He turned so he was facing towards the ground and he climbed down to the ledge, watching her carefully "I don't want to, but if I have to..." he told himself and waved his tail.

Grishmak's grin only grew as he got closer to the town. It had been too long since he'd seen civilization, and he was rather sure Thara was a tad bit hungry, but he was just in it for the fun of watching some freaked out humans. True, the Tainted hadn't fed for a bit, but human's emotions didn't taste all that lovely. Dragon emotions made for a much better snack, they were laced with much more emotion. Not to mention they were more resilient. Thara may have had no qualms with killing her food, but he personally preferred to take little and leave them alive. However, a good crowd of panicky humans was perfect. So strolling through the middle of a town was his perfect play. He got to see freaked out humans and a bit of energy. And perhaps the humans had some good wine or alcohol. It had been too long since he'd had any. Before he had become one of the Taint.
"Pff, can you stop dreaming about food and pay attention? We've reached the town idiot," Thara growled playfully.

Chehero carefully creeped back into the house she came come from, only this time from a door instead of a window. Making sure her footsteps were as light as a human could walk she prowled through the kitchen. Opening a cuboard Chehero winced, no wonder she didn't think of eating before leaving. The food in the cupboards had all gone bad, greenish black mold on the bread, a couple of wooden containers had been chewed through, the cheese wasn't even recognizable anymore. Regretting her idea of coming back to the house Chehero carefully wandered to another set of cupboards. These to had no good food in them, the potatoes were mushy and had to many roots coming out of them all the vegetables that were supposed to be green, they were brownish black. Covering her mouth in an attempt to avoid a horrible gag reflex she quietly closed the cupboard. How had no one cleaned it? was there even anyone living here after all? Scratching her head with annoyance she headed back out the front door.

He jumped down from the roof, his claws clacking on the road below and he slowly cept toward the house she went in. He hugged the wall as he walked and stopped behind a stairwell a few houses away, watching the door. For a second the presence of another dragon caught his attention but he was too busy with this human to notice anymore.

Chehero opened the door subconsciously looking up and letting out a loud scream. She got a glimpse of the creature before her for a few seconds as her eye's rolled into the back of her head. Her body was moving on it's own, gripping the staff in her hands she resumed a defensive stance. "Who are you?" Her eyes scanned Talcom for any possible weapons other than his claws.

Already feelings of nervousness were encircling them, and Grishmak was reveling in them. Thara giggled slightly, watching a few of the villagers grab their children and lock themselves in their houses, like it would stop a dragon and a vampire. A few braver souls kept at what they were doing, casting the pair weary glances. Otherwise, to the pair, the town seemed slightly empty in general. Grishmak was already feeling his hopes of nice wine dashed. It was then Grishmak's attention was grabbed by a movement attempting to be sneaky. Of course it was failing in such a dull town by Grishmak and Thara's standards. A bright pink dragon tends to stand out.
Really stand out.
So really, it was no surprise their attention was quickly drawn to it. Especially when it is trying to sneak around a house. Those things stand out in a dragons mind. They couldn't really be sure if it would stick out in a humans mind...Obviously not, Grishmak decided, as no one else seemed to notice.
"Well now, I'm rather thrown off as to what I should do now..." muttered Grishmak.
And then, as one normally would, the human living there freaked.
"So they do notice!" came Thara's childish cheer.

Talcom faltered back a bit, almost as shocked as she was. He waved his claws at her "Don't freak. I'm not gonna hurt ya." he said, not that his words would really mean anything to a human. After all that wasn't entirely true at first and he has stolen from humans here before. He put all four legs on the ground and looked around to see if any other humans were around, luckily most of them had already gone inside from the other dragon.

Green eye's continued to move over the dragon before her, "hurt me you say." She gently poked him with her staff, "then why are you here?" Chehero's eyes followed where the dragon was looking and her eyes fell upon the dragon and his bound. Raising an eyebrow she looked back at the pink dragon. "Your friends? They look more like they want to ambush me" Chehero growled out her eyes darting back and forth between the pink dragon and the red one. This wasn't going to be easy to fight through, if that was what it came down to.

He shook his head "I'm not affiliated with them. I work solo." he said and looked her over "I'm a simple pick-pocket." he said and stood on his hind legs, brushing the spot where she poked him off with his claw "Not gonna lie. It's how I survive." he looked back at Grish "Personally, I've never seen them before."

The pair's amusement was growing as each word was uttered. Grishmak had no plans to bug any human in particular, or even ambush one, but this was just golden, how he resist messing with her mind?
"Me? Ambush you? Oh no, oh no, I'd come right up to you're face, knock you over, and slowly drain your emotions, your life force out of you. My bound here, and Pinky over there? They'd ambush you. Kill you in your sleep and steel all of your food and money...HOWEVER~!"
"Oh shut up, idiot. She is already ready to kill you."
"I know." A larger grin.

"PINKY OLD PAL? HOW COULD YOU PRETEND YOU DON'T KNOW ME?" Came Grishmak's cry, "You were just telling me about how you were going to sneak in there and steal everything the human had~! And if the human was still in there, you'd kill 'im. How could you liiiieeeeee."
Thara nodded in agreement solemnly, "I knew it was a bad idea..."

Grunting with pure annoyance at the pair and pink dragons she rolled her eyes flexing her stance in case she had to spring. Maybe she would be able to stun the dragon before her, but double thinking that she doubted it after the knowledge he was a pick pocket. Eye's flashing back to the big dragon trying to plan a way out for escape she couldn't help but imagine her staff embedded in his eye. Chehero's eyebrow twitched as she relaxed her pose, "so you have come to steal from me have you?" She glared at the pink dragon. "As you can clearly see." She opened the bag for him to see, "she only carries medicine and books. Both of which you will find completely useless." Her eyes flashed back at Grishmak as he continued to speak, quickly closing the bag she whipped the staff around letting it connect with the pink dragons leg. "So I was right after all, this was an ambush."
