Situated inside a gutted barn is a child's dream. It's a playground of playgrounds; three levels of fantastic fun, and no supervision to be had. It was as if the architects themselves had been children, and knew exactly what amazing things to put around every wooden corner.

The entrance is a set of huge barn doors. To the left is the entrance to the tunnel; forward ho, no turning back from here on! Everyone must exit through the dreaded.. huge pit of foam blocks! Arrrr! The place echoes with children of varying ages screaming and laughing and crying. There's a man sitting on a huge rusted chair, but no other adults are allowed past the entrance way.

"Daw," Madeline coos down at her quiet child, patting his constantly matted hair. "Your brother and I will be back in an hour. I'm going to take him over the bunny hills down at the slopes. If you need anything, that man will help you."

Dai looks to the man in question, and gulps. He doesn't look welcoming, or maybe it's just the angle. He turns back to his mother, sorely wishing his feet were strong enough for skiing, too. Madeline shakes her head and urges him on with a gentle push on his coat. He stumbles forward, coming to a hesitant stop just two feet in. Well.. it is warmer in here, he silently reasons.

Sammy hadn’t quite been expecting not having a babysitter today. Normally he was left at grammie Rose’s when dad had to go to the university but today was different. Scout was left with a friend for today, something about trying to catch hibernating frogs. Unfortunately for Sam, only real men were allowed in Scout’s party, besides, he didn’t really want to go playing in the brook looking for frozen frogs. So in a rush, Lucas had pulled up a small playground part day care type of activity to bring him to.

The place was large and reminiscent of his own barn, Sam thought as he looked up at the roof and wooden walls. Inside shrieking could be heard and it was quite deafening. Sharp eyesight picked out a few people that didn’t look like they would, a) pummel him or b) be too crazy and hyper. So when left inside the front gate he felt only slightly lost. Golden eyes scanned once more before a familiar feeling twinged at the back of his scull. Not the same as Mason but something a little different. The young boy looked up to his ghostly guide, currently invisible to the passing kids, who merely took a sip of his soda and pointed to a small boy who definitely felt somewhat familiar.

Carefully, in his too large boots to accommodate taloned toes and feathered ankles he stepped over to the other Hiccup, hands covering his ears.

“H-Hi.” He said tentatively before peering up at the obstacle courses combined into one.

Dai nearly jumps out of his skin.

It wasn't the sound; no, the loudness actually comforts the boy. It was the sudden appearance alone that startles Daimhin so much that he has to catch his footing. He squeezes his lucky drumstick and feels the urge to lift it to his mouth and nervously chew on it, but he remembers his brother's taunting on the subject, and settles for just squeezing it.

Dai nods his greeting at Sam, then notices the boy seems perturbed by the noise. He points at the entrance of the fungrounds, knowing just a little something about acoustics from when he needs to hide from his brother's tantrums. Muffled noise is better.

"Come," he says quietly, barely audible over the noise of the other kids. "Less there."
