June hadn't been able to sleep all night... waiting and pacing a the front door, certain that Duncan was never going to be home. What if he fell into one of those ditches that parents always talked about? The ones that all the teen agers ended up in when they didn't get home on time? June had finally sat down on the cough at about eight in the morning, watching the clock as the hands moved and slowly ticked along... seconds and minutes passing quickly, the steady sound causing his eyes to grow heavy and his head to nod forward... again and again until he finally dozed off.
He had been panicked for to long so when he started to calm down passed out... he would deal with Duncan when he got back from... wherever he'd gone... and he would ground his son for the rest of his life and maybe part of his afterlife again his mind was saying even as he sleep.

As he slept, his soul floated up above his body and was apparently unable to get back into it. Around his neck, a ghostly version of the relic floated, glowing softly in the direction of........a door? What was that doing there? It was in the middle of his wall!

June lifted a hand to rub at his eyes, giving a little yawn before he walked toward door that was there before him. Odd... another of those dreams that didn't make any sense to him that he found himself moving through in what felt like slow motion. He reached out to the knob, jiggling it before the door gave a creak as it opened up before the tall man.

On the other side of the door was what pretty much looked like Vegas. The door closed an vanished behind him and the man was forced to look around the freaky palace he stood in. It had neon lights on black walls, and so much glitzy and glamour around that it was a bit creepy.
The freakiest part was the person laying across what seemed to be a supremely bedazzled dark red velvet couch. He was well...a beefcake. Broad shoulders, well defined muscles, wearing nothing but a pair of black leather pants with a ton of silver sparkles on them - he was pretty damn good looking. It was the fact that his hair was soft, long and a light cotton candy pink and his skin was a strange maroon color that made him look odd. But then again, it could also have been the small black wings on each of his ankles, on top of his head, and wrapped around from his back to his shoulders. He seemed to like holding them there as a set of odd shoulder pads than just visible wings. A pretty interesting specimen to say the least.
Upon his head was a strange black dot - thick and strange, like a marking to show where he'd been shot. His position, on closer inspection, would indicate he'd slumped after death rather than just in sleep. But he seemed only comatose and the relic glowed, beckoning him towards the strange man.

"Well now... aren't you a rather... interesting creature." He murmured as he got closer, feeling guilty of thinking all sorts of strange thoughts when looking over the rather... dead man. He was... the first adjective to come to mind wasn't exactly nice but how else did one label a huge, butch, pink guy covered in sparkles... he was pretty sure that one was probably a fan of other males.
He gave himself a mental smack, that wasn't nice at all... labeling people, dead ones especially wasn't nice. He found himself drifting closer when his mind asked, I wonder if he was top or bottom... and he had to mentally smack himself again, "It doesn't matter either way does it?" He said out loud, reaching toward him without thinking.
He was... shiny, so much so that it was a little hard to resist.

When June's hand laid on the man he got a whole lot shinier - so shiny in fact that he was almost pure sparkly glowy light. And actually, so did the relic, shooting from the man's neck and into the glowy mass, which then began to shrink.
The glowing and shrinking stopped sortly, leaving a small boy with looooooong cotton candy hair, shiny maroon skin, and lovely little gold eyes smiling up at June and waving. How cute?

June jerked his hand back in surprise, lifting it up to shield his eyes from the bright flashing light... and when he lowered it again he found his hand was coated in a rainbow of glitter. He flexed it before he looked over at the boy, "Well now... look at you." He murmured to the kid, reaching out to give him a little poke, "Your looking much better now aren't you?"
The little boy starred up at him with large eyes before reaching out to take hold of the hand that had poked him, holding onto it tightly.

As June essentially claimed Keirnan, the doorway back to their bodies reappeared before them and he was able to pick up the small one and they could proceed back into their bodies and wake up. Or keep snoozing, snoozing was good. Anyway, Duncan would be quite surprised when he finally showed up again. Not only would he be grounded, but he'd have a little ball of cuteness to deal with - one that seemed to adore glitter.
