Tal stormed through the snow, his tail swishing angrily behind him. He could just feel his heart freezing over. He wanted nothing to do with love, nothing! Anything he did with any females at this point would be pure lust, not love. He was beginning to become just like his father, and he knew it, but was too hurt to care.

Shani giggled as the snow melted under her paws. Her mother had told her not to waste her powers on menial things like that, but she still loved to do it. She wondered if she could find someone in need of a fire. She was in the mood to make a nice fire.

Tal's anger left him like a gust of wind, leaving him alone in an empty shell of sorrow and yearning. He slumped down against a tree and sighed softly before looking dreary-eyed up at the clouds.

Shani stopped sudenly. SHe thought she had heared something besides the sizzling of the snow. She looked around and saw Tal. She walked over to him slowly. "Uhh..." She was never really good at starting conversations.

Tal's ear twitched as he heard movement, and he turned his head to look at Shani. Female. He wasn't in the mood for females. And fire. He despised, and feared fire. He scowled. "What do you want?"

"Well you'll have to make one away from here... I hate fires." he practically spitted out. He wasn't angry with her personally, but she had come around at just the wrong time. "I...want...nothing"

She tilted her head. "How can you hate fires? I think they are wonderful. They help me cook!!" She smiled at him. "And I love to cook." She frowned a bit. "...but its cold out...dont you just want a lil fire?" "Hmmm...are you sure theres not ANYTHING you want?" She paused then smiled. "What about a cookie!? Everyone loves cookies."

Tal just stared blankly at this female. She just kept going on and on, he wondered if she had an off switch. "I just want you to shut up." He finally said, keeping his yell minimized to a growl.

Shani's tail stopped swishing. "well, obviously you are pretty cold. Otherwise your words wouldnt be so icey." She sat up straight, her shoulders back. "You deffinently need a fire." She tottered off to get some wood and came back, throwing it down by him.

Tal shrugged to himself, he appeared to be growing more like his hated father every day. He watched her go off, considering her crazy, and even more so when she had wood. "I told you I don't want a fire!"

"Fine, then this is for me." She built the pile and layed her paws on it. A fire breaking out. She rest her hands on it, then lifted them to rest them in the cold snow again. "Ahh, so beautiful." "You know, you look familure."

Tal watched in horror as she lit th fire, his gaze petrified by it. He stared at it unblinkingly; it's heat coming near him, it's flames dancing near him. If he wasn't terrified of it, he might have enjoyed it. Instead, he just stared as if under hypnosis.

Shani nuzzled in close to it. unaware of Tal's horror. "Oh! So like I was saying. You look a lot like my friend Nazneen. I think she said something about her parents being named Kakra and Jack. ...you look a lot like her cept you dont have as much pink as she does."

Tal continued to just stare at the fire, hardly breathing, until he heard the name of his damned father. That lowlife cheeter who captivated women for his pleasure then left them alone with the children born from it. He scowled, his gaze attatched to the fire. "That creep of a father of mine."
