Would anyone know where I can find some? I tried doing a Google and Yahoo search but came up empty on my searches.

For the fun of it I've been making some of Rose's outfits from the movie Titanic. I love her costumes, they're so elegant. biggrin

This is the type of pinstripe fabric I've been looking for. If I can't find it in time I've got half a mind to buy some very good quality cotton fabric and some one-eigth inch wide purple ribbon and fashion my own as I cut it out.

I wish you luck on your Rose costumes. I adore them, and hope to try my hand at one eventually too!

This is about as close as I could find:

You might also want to try looking at this site. This person makes many of the Titanic costumes, and lists all their favourite fabric and trim resources in their links page. One of them probably is the supplier for the fabric they use for their version of the boarding costume.

Also, if you're willing to go to all that work with the ribbon, another idea might be to sew in the pinstripes with thick thread (e.g. embroidery thread).
