Amelia gave herself a brief moment of satisfaction as she stepped out of the library, half-hopping down the stairs. The decorations were all hung, the food was hot and ready in the kitchen, and by what she could see, things were going to start perfectly. At the least, there won't be any enemies attempting to force-feed us an Elwind spell or a handful of arrows, she thought smartly. She smoothed down her clothes when she reached the foot of the stairs; a white dress, tight-fitted from her bust to her waist, then scalloping out in loose waves to her feet, where her red boots peeked out. Numerous accessories tied together the party outfit; a red ribbon tied into a bow at her back, a pair of white arm sleeves and red gloves, a red heart-shaped necklace, and a red hair ribbon and white feathers attached to the side of her head with a clip and hairband. She stepped away from the doorway and to where the others were gathered.
Amelia smiled wide at the people within the house, hoping they were as happy for the party's start as she was. "I'm sure you guys are already aware of this, but... party time!" Amelia clapped her hands together, still grinning. "Food is all set out and ready in the kitchen, and we've set up the library as a dance room. A couple of other rooms are set up for simple lounge areas, if you'd simply like to snack and socialize. I hope you all have fun, the Host Club will make sure of it!" Amelia stepped to the side of the stairway when she finished, clasping her hands in front of her.

"Indeed," Fire Dragon smirked, leaning against a wall, "please don't restrain yourselves from enjoying the festivities! If there is anything you need or desire, don't hesitate to approach a host." Clad in his Host-Club attire, he sipped at his martini, beside Nils.

Nils stood by the side, arms crossed across his chest. He wore a light blue jacket, accompanied with a white dress shirt, a tie, black slacks, and black shoes. It was the standard attire, but it matched, so he had no reason to complain.
"I have to admit, it's a nice change from shorts..." The dragon bard smiled, standing beside the Fire Dragon.

Tibarn came tromping down the stairs, bundled up in his heavy, red fur-lined coat with Ayra close behind him. "Hey, everyone, just on our way through," he laughed, waving. "Someone has to check on the cas..." He blinked, stopping in the doorway to the living room, and looked up at the mistletoe that his hair had brushed against.
A sly little smirk slowly made its way across the Hawk King's face as he unbuckled the belt that held his coat closed. He shifted his arms back, intricately moving his wings to allow him to shrug off the coat. A moment later, it was tossed carelessly over the back of a chair as the now bare-chested Hawk turned and caught Ayra by the arm, pulling her under the mistletoe and into a sudden hot kiss, holding her on tiptoe as his lips sealed themselves to hers. His wings flared upward as he slid his arms around her back, tickling along the swordmistress' spine. "On the other hand," he murmured out the side of his mouth, refusing to break the kiss, "The castle isn't going anywhere."

"Oh, Kaoru! Isn't this party just marvelous? Are you enjoying yourself?" Fire Dragon smiled at his companion.

Sue, who had decided just at the spur of the moment to dress as a Lord, walked, in, bowing apologetically. "I'm so sorry if I'm late, my fellow hosts! As for you, FEF... I'll give any of you lovely males a nomadic New Years experience!" She winked, albiet awkwardly.

Amelia hopped over to Sue as if she were a bunny rabbit, smiling wide. "Sue! It's all right! Rhys had something he had to do and is going to be late... but look, this is going to be great!" Amelia hugged the Nomad, then stepped back, adjusting the feathery headband in her hair. "I'm going to make sure the musicians start playing now!" she told Sue, rushing upstairs, holding up her skirts enough to give her feet room to move. Within minutes, strains of rather upbeat jazz floated down the stairwell.

Sue narrowed her eyes upon hearing Rhys was gonna be late. "Milord... it's all for the purpose of making yet another dramatic entrance..." she sighed at the thought.
She wondered who else would show up to the festivities.

Misuki Marishima Sue, who had decided just at the spur of the moment to dress as a Lord, walked, in, bowing apologetically. "I'm so sorry if I'm late, my fellow hosts! As for you, FEF... I'll give any of you lovely males a nomadic New Years experience!" She winked, albiet awkwardly. A finger lightly tapped on Sue's shoulder, and a familiar, silky, sickly-sweet voice murmured, "Is that a fact? I'm not sure exactly what that means, but I'm sure you can explain it..." The notorious Wyvern Rider's smugness seemed to extend right past his face, down his entire body, between the way he'd suddenly stepped around the corner to lean on the doorframe, the way his legs were crossed, the way he kept one hand behind his back, like he was hiding something. In fact, it seemed to extend for a two-foot radius all around his body.

Amelia trotted back down the stairs, holding her skirts again so as to have enough room to walk without falling flat on her face thanks to the trailing fabric. "Okay! The band has started up, and..."
Her voice died when she saw Siegell leaning on the doorway. Standing in their house like he belonged there as much as the air circulating through each room. Smirking like... like Siegell. She took a sharp breath in through her nose and purposefully moved down the last few steps to the carpeted floor.
"Siegell... I wouldn't have imagined you'd deign to show up here," she told him, putting a innocent smile on her face. "Here to give someone a jewelry box that will release the world's ultimate evil into Learania once opened?"

Nils nodded happily. "Mm-hm! I'm having fun..."
He didn't notice Siegell's entrance, otherwise he would have fled into a different room.

Alihi smiled, obviously feeling a bit awkward. The tactician decided to dress nicer than usual, so she discarded her signature cloak and black undershirt. She wore a short, green, long-sleeved dress that sparkled and swayed slightly, with a pair of white pants and her black boots. Around her neck was her necklace, the one that she never took off.
She wandered around a bit, looking for someone to talk to but also looking for an excuse to move around and not feel so awkward.

"What is he doing here?" Victoria thought. The bishop was sitting on one of the elegantly arranged tables, sipping wine by herself, as Brammimond or Tristai hadn't showed up.
Sue was wondering what Siegell was doing here too, but... she then remembered that a host was a host for all FEF... even the crazy ones. "Ah... yes... even you, Siegell!" She smiled the best she could. "Would you like this wine? I mixed it with a special blend of Sacaen Herbs... Milord disrespects me calling it 'nomadic grass'..."

"I'm glad to hear it! So... is there anything you'd like to do Kaoru?" Fire Dragon innocently asked. "We could go dance, or eat, or host somebody..."
Fire Dragon would have gone on, but he spotted Siegell in the corner of his eye. He decided not to interfere with the man for now though, out of respect for his help in the snow days ago.

Nils smiled. "Anything's fine with me, Hikaru..."
It was then he noticed Siegell. He froze, but tried to keep a calm look on his face. He turned back to Fire Dragon, the same smile as before on his face, acting as if Siegell wasn't even there. It was rude, yes, but to keep calm, he had to do that.

Siegell raised one brow. "Sacaen herbs, hm? I'm afraid prudence and a knowledge of my reputation here force me to decline this generous off-- I'm sorry?" He blinked up at Amelia in clear confusion, his brow slightly furrowed. "I'm afraid I don't know what you mean," he replied to the General, pushing off the wall and stepping around to face her. He eyed her attire and added, with a smile, "I'm willing to forgive confusion, though, for such a lovely face."
He stepped aside to let her past, offering her his hand. "Dance with me, I'm a bit intrigued now..." He took her hand gently in his before she could protest, and pulled her close to him, wrapping his arm around her back and leading her in a slow dance. "What was all this about a jewelry box?"
