I like water because in water powers, you can be like a mermaid. (Which I am!) Plus, they provide water when you are thirsty. I don't like fire because its in hell. twisted

Water, it some how has a way of being destructive but also be relaxing.

i like water better because its more destructive and more flexible than fire and also cuz i like water better than fire

To choose one over the other. I would first have to look at what the two elements are commonly associated with. Water is connected with calmness or clarity. It is also connected with purity. Due to the the phrase as pure as water. Water sustains life for many species. The destruction large waves can cause is no secret though. Fire is associated with passion and destruction alike. It is also associated with evil and destruction. Due to the bible as well as the destruction it can cause. The thing about fire, is it can't always be extinguished easily with water. I had to take a test on this at one point. But unfortunately most of what I learned escapes me. But depending on what type of fire you are dealing with. Pouring water on the flame can either help snuff it out or make it stronger. In astrology, different signs are associated with different element. Like fire signs are associated with passion. Earth signs are associated with Wisdom. And Water signs are associated with clarity. If I had to pick between the two. It would come up as a tie. But I would choose fire only because I'm an Ares. That being the tie breaker that sways the vote.
