Remi was extremely happy. Never in a million years did she expect that Iz would give in. And yet here she was alone in the forest. Not really a forest but a large area with quite a load of trees was more exact but Remi wasn't focused on that. She wasn't supposed to be alone, her mom would NEVER allow that. Neena was supposed to be babysitting but as was her style the cat demon had fallen asleep on the couch. Which gave Remi the opportunity she had been waiting for. Sneaking into the forest was a piece of cake. Speaking of cake........
Remi sat against a large tree and opened the lunch pail she had brought with her. Smiling she pulled out a large piece of cake and a fork. "Mmmm spice cake!" Digging in Rem was in complete and total bliss.

Sulking around the house did no good, as Elda rarely noticed Malice's tempers anymore. Sulking in public was fine, but so overdone. Sulking to one's self was perfectly acceptable, Malice decided as she kicked a rock. But why did she have to do it in the forest?
She wondered through the deeply wooded area, not bothering to take in the sights of nature around her. Stupid mother. Stupid plant life. She stubbed her toe on another rock. Stupid rocks.
She was on the verge of turning back when she heard a noise from ahead. There in the trees was a girl with long ginger-colored hair, happily munching on something from a lunch box. Who the hell would go this deep in the woods for anything, she wondered as she approached the other child.

Hearing feet thudding through the forest Remi looked up from her cake only to see a little girl who appeared her age. The girl had the most dark angry look on her face and Rem didn't know whether she sound run for her life or ask if she was alright.
Seeing that the girl had already noticed her Remi shrugged it off and guessed that the choice had been made for her. "Arffa ywou ofkay?" Cake still in her mouth Rem swallowed and repeated her question. "Are you ok? You look upset is there anything I can do to help?"
