For those of you who have seen me gritting my hands menacingly, muttering about my "Master Plan," and have wondered at all of the changes going on around here, I can assure you that indeed they are all related.
The first step in my plans was combining the guilds. I did this for two reasons. The first is just as I said: It was what was best for this guild. The other reason is that I wanted to consolidate and put everything into this guild. It would be instrumental to later plans.
The next step was to get a Mac, a Wacom, and Adobe Design Standard...I'm still working on the Mac.
The next step was to use those things to dress up the guild. Get some music going on the homepage and get the set-up exactly as I wanted it. A proper banner and page art, as well as clickable pictures illustrating the layout and physical appearance each sub-forum would have, as well as a written description would all be needed.
With the guild exactly as I wanted it, the affiliating would begin...First with "Why Not?" the biggest guild on Gaia. Then with every other guild that will have me. This will allow the guild traffic to increase, allowing the size of my clan also to increase. Under ideal circumstances, I would be one of the most powerful users on Gaia, but more likely, my name will simply be known throughout the Guild circuit throughout all of Gaia.

Fortune is indeed a path to fame (see Bill Gates for reference) but far from the only one. Besides, The Raven, Poe's most famous book, won him no more than $12. Sure, it was more in those days, but I doubt it could have supported him for more than a month (shelter excluded). When it comes to Gaia gold, however, as one might suspect from my avatars, I am rather comfortable.

I am reminded of the screenshot I have of a conversation we had about the "Master Plan". It is indeed an admirable feat, which I have no doubt you will achieve Josh.

Great plan. But scary.
This means anyone will be able to join the guild. And the guild will be more like the forums.. it would be the forums if your dream were completely fulfilled.
I love your plan.. but if it really happens and this place goes Chatterbox or even GD on me.. I'll be gone in two seconds. Wonder why my post count in the guild is so high compared to how many posts I've made in my Gain life? Because I haven't visited the forums in.. a year or so. (With the exception of the Minishops) I hate people in large masses. They are ignorant, mean... I HATE the forums, that's why I left Gaia so many times. I got sick of the arguing, the constant gay, religious and rape threads.. the begging for gold..
You must not do this to this guild. Please?
Make a new guild, another.. don't let the N00bs in.. by this I mean N00bs.. not to be confused with newbies, which are fine.
I'm scared.
