I've seen a Contra Bass Clarinet, a Sub Contra Bass Flute, and a Baritone Saxophone. Is there something like that with a Trumpet? I'm just curious to know, because I play the Trumpet and have an interest in abnormally large instruments. I was hoping someone in this guild would know.

ok There are marching baritones. They are built like a oversize trumpet would be. Remember if too big the trumpet, it would no longer be a trumpet, and would be low brass. However the Cornet is the bass/bigger trumpet. Check it out!!

these pictures may be a little misleading... The cornet is just about as long as the marching baritone, but the baritone is much bulkier/bigger and heavier.
