Time rolls by like river raging I look at you as if your never aging This obstinate fate crouches hidden Your smile hides your pain Like there are no rules to this game you play I'd say you're winning
We can't stop the clock from ticking but we can, live just as happily knowing one day we'll say goodbye These thoughts hold too much grief until that day you rest in peace I'm glad to know you made it worthwhile
I spent so many hours down here, watching flowers bloom while you planted them There's alot of things that a book can't teach How to love, how to care and how to reach How to live and learn and say goodnight till the morning
Till the morning Till the sun comes up and we see our face lit by the warming dawn Till the morning Till the morning comes and the shadows are gone And these gray eyes can see again
We can't stop the clock from ticking but we can, live just as happily knowing one day we'll say goodnight In the morning, upon tomorrow
These thoughts hold too much disbelief until that day we rest in peace I'm glad to know we made it worthwhile

Oh, I think this is my favorite by far. I'd be able to give you great positive feedback on this If I weren't so flipping tired, but sadly I'm about to drop.
Just know, I think you should keep writing. I like your work.
