Halloween is drawing ever closer, and though it isn't a Japanese holiday, I was thinking that perhaps we could amass some Halloween-related words/phrases/etc. ^^ (I apologize if this has already been done - I checked but I didn't see any other threads like this myself).

I don't know too many words that work, but here are the ones I do know:

Kabocha ~ "Pumpkin" (kabocha are a bit different from the usual Halloween pumpkins)
Koumori ~ "Bat"
Majo ~ "Witch"
Seirei ~ I believe this means "Spirit", though I'm not sure if it's the same kind of spirit as a ghost...
Majutsu ~ "Magic" (as far as I can tell, the break-down of the word itself kind of translates as "demon techniques/artform" or something along those lines. eek )

Uh, well that's all I have. Any other additions (and corrections to my own words/translations) are quite welcome. mrgreen
