Name: Viviane Guardian: Hartley (Teh_Sil) Spirit: After moving to America at the tender age of ten, Viviane soon found difficulty adapting to the new culture and making friends. Though her English was proficient enough, the other children mocked her for her accent. Desperate to win the approval of her peers, Viviane was promised that if she spent the night in a house that was reputed to be haunted, she would get the friendship of two of the most popular girls in her class. With determination, the pale little girl marched up there. About an hour in, just as her heart was beginning to pound less, one of the instigators of this test jumped out from behind the door, coated in flour, meant to scare. It certainly did the trick- if only they had known about Vivaine's bad heart! The subsequent heart attack killed her off, quickly enough. Vessel: Camargue horse
Season: Winter Powers: Unknown

 From Wikipedia (I r lazy):
The Camargue is an ancient breed of horses found in the Camargue area in southern France. For centuries, possibly thousands of years, these small horses have lived wild in the harsh environment of the wetlands of the Rhone delta, the Camargue marshes, developing the stamina, hardiness and agility for which they are known today. They are the traditional mount of the gardians – the Camargue "cowboys" who herd the black Camargue bulls used in bullfighting in southern France. Camargue horses galloping through water are a popular and romantic image of the region.
Camargue horses are always gray. This means that they have black skin underlying a white hair coat as adult horses. They are born with a hair coat that is black or dark brown in colour, but as they grow to adulthood, their hair coat becomes ever more intermingled with white hairs until it is completely white. They are small horses, generally 1.35 to 1.50 m (13 to 14 hands) high. Despite their small size, they have the strength to carry grown men. Rugged and intelligent, they have a short neck, deep chest, compact body, well-jointed, strong limbs and a full mane and tail.
The Camargue breed was well appreciated by the Celtic and Roman invaders that entered the Iberian Peninsula, and as a result this genealogy is closely tied with Iberian horses, especially those in the northern part of the peninsula. The original Spanish "jaca" was probably a cross between the Celtic Pony and the Camargue; it was later improved further by crosses with northern European horse types and ultimately with the southern peninsular horse as the Moors spread their influence towards the Pyrenees.
Their calm temperament, agility, intelligence and stamina has resulted in these horses being used for equestrian games, dressage, and long distance riding, which is growing in popularity in France.

 Character Name: Hartley
Age: Twenty
Description: Hartley is a deer woman. As such, she has some rather unique facial features. First off- large deer ears.
Facial shape- Her face should be shaped like that- slightly jutting forward, with clearly defined cheekbones, and larger eyes framed with long lashes, and set back slightly in the face. Her eyes are blue-grey.
Antlers- She has antlers around three to four months of the year, after which they fall off naturally. No, she doesn't keep them. That would be weird.
Hair- Long- just past her shoulder blades, with no bangs. It's ash blond, with only a slight golden tint.
Skin color- Extremely pale, almost unnaturally so.
Neck length- A longer neck than is typical in humans, but still refined and graceful.
Body type- Hartley has a graceful, slender body with a long torso and long limbs. Her breasts are small (think B cup), but high. She has slim hips only marginally wider than her waist.
UNDERNEATH THE PANTS: She has a deer tail. <3
Personality:
Extroverted/introverted In general, she is extremely extroverted. She enjoys being in large groups of people, though when the group starts to get over 15 or so, it gets to be too much. People give her that stimulation she needs to get through the day, but when she needs her alone time, she needs her alone time, and will get downright rude if you suggest she do something.
Behavior in group settings She's not the best in working as a group. I'm far too domineering/dominant. If she's not in charge, then she'll make herself in charge. She tends to do all the work, because she can't stand not having the work fit up to her standards. Things need to be done her way, or the highway.
Outgoing/conservative While not initially trusting, Hartley is quick to warm up to people, and is extremely outgoing, and loves the limelight.
Leader/Follower 100% leader. Hartley can't stand not being in charge, as I said earlier, and she can get downright testy until she finds some way to worm herself into the superior position. HOwever, in relationships, Hartley craves someone who can stand up to her dominance, and be her equal. She gets bored with those she deems too 'easy'.
Fastidious/Carelessness Hartley is a perfectionist about many things- work, certain aspects of her home, her appearance. If she doesn't look 'perfect', what's the point? However, you should see her home. It's an absolute mess. She could probably use a neat guy to help her.
Passionate/Apathetic Hartley is passionate- perhaps too much so. It can be rather overwhelming for people, and can deter people from entering a relationship with her, since she doesn't do things half-hearted. She falls in love, and she falls in love hard.
Others: Hartley is extremely stubborn and hard headed, and prone to acting without fully thinking things through. She's really, really bad with kids.

The Home Hartley resides in this charming Victorian home. She rents her room from Adrianne and Morgan, a nice couple only a few years older than herself. The spare room is used as a Bed and Breakfast, and Hartley often earns free rent by tending to the guests.
