-Reavstone-
Created after the Vampire Kingdom human allies began to grow into an increasingly large number. Since the world on the outside of the kingdoms had such a strong hatred for the creatures of the dark, the vampire kingdom offered their allied human a home for them to live in peace on and prospers. They feared that the outside world would attack them if exposed. Reavstone, meaning Human Sanctuary, possesses its own laws and governor that can only be overruled by Queen herself, who rarely does.
Reavstone have everything it needs to supports its human population. They have farms, churches, homes, schools, shops, and more. Reavstone is just like a large settlement within the Vampire Kingdom territory much like the Tree Folk and Dragons homes. They still do however, enter the main city of the vampire kingdom, Draconian, on many occasions. Many of the humans have had their families here for multiple generations in the kingdom, their children growing up from day one in its territory. The humans are treated equally and are consider to be family by the inhabitants of the Vampire Kingdom, who would protection them the same way they would themselves.
The governor is called Ben. He and his family have been governing Reavstone for centuries and have a close friendship with the queen herself.

With the early morning sun rising over the Church's steeples Brut knew that his day had to begin, and with the crisp clear loud ringing of the church bells he knew that the hopes of going back to sleep were far behind him. Rolling out of his bed he got himself dressed in his robes. with his lips staying closed for most of his morning ritual he shakes a soft laugh out as he looks to the church, some of the richer people ll ready clamoring inside its walls to receive their salvation. Cleaning his room up a bit he walks out his door, looking back at his room. making sure everything was in its proper place before heading down to the street as he heads off to his work in one of the wheat fields/

She was doing her rounds for the day, checking up on her kingdom and insuring its properse. Mostly she was dodging the high elder council...! She gazed down at the Reavstone and smiled. The town was alive as the church began to let out from its Sunday service. As she walked among the humans they all gave her warm smiles and nodding welcomes that she returned.
The sanctuary was doing just fine...
The wheat fields came into view, and soon Ben came up to her and gave her strong handshake for a human. "Welcome Relena," smiled the short man with a toothy grin at her, "You're a bit earlier than normal today." The last few words were said in a sly tone that told Relena she had been giving away. Relena chuckled, "The council was infront of my bedroom door with ideas ready to be commited to paper then law. I use my window more than my door now a days."
Ben laughed out loud, "So I have heard!!!!!" Relena gave a glare that only Ben and few others ignored. "Your suppose to be on my side," accused Relena as she looked over the wheat fields with her hands on her hips.

Arriving a few minuets after Relena Brut caught sight of her when he entered the wheat fields.
"Crap..." he thinks to himself as he looks around wishing he had taken his tools home with him the night before. he never liked having to greet people he didn't know. i mean sure he knew WHO she was but he didn't know her. all he knew about the kingdoms Queen was that her age preceded a grate many works that he read in the library from his temple. and that one of his ancestors faught along side her against a grate evil. but to hi that meant nothing. no matter ow old or hero worthy she was to the kingdom she was just a woman to him. but he also knew where she stood and where he stood and for that if he had to meet her he would show the greatest level of respect that he knew how. but if he could avoid it he would. so he started walking straight for the store house where is daily tools were resting against the wall in a near perfect order burned with his symbol so they would not get confused with the other volunteers tools and eventually lost. but with any luck his day should go without much wrong doing.

Relena turned to the young man attempting to dodge her, giving a quickly look over before turning around one more to where she was. She knew his scent and aura anywhere. "How is he doing," she asked Ben. Ben saw the young man and chuckled, "Young and stubborn!"
Relena had to bit her lip to keep her laughter quiet. "I hope he is doing well in the sanctuary...," repeated Relena in a better and more detail question. Ben nodded his head at her. He knew all to well of the young man heritage and how it tied in with the queen's past from ages ago.
"He is doing well," said Ben," spends most of his time down in the temple's archives." "Is that so," muttered Relena. He must have been researching his family tree or the kingdoms past. Due to the man great-by-so-many-grandfather, Relena had made it an oath to keep an eye out for that specific family tree. After all, she did owe the young man's family so much for all those years so long ago. "Watch over him when I cannot alright," said Relena to Ben. Relena had multiple family that she keep in contact or watched over more than others and this young man family was one of them. Much had to do with her history with the family's past members.
The man nodded and yelled over the young man. "Hey, you're late boy. Get a move on or you will be out there until nightfall!" Relena shook her head slightly, Ben new of her protective streak for the boy's bloodline, among many others too...but she doubt that the boy knew of it himself. Maybe he did, but he didn't make a point of making it noticeable. Didn't matter really. His family has been by her side long enough, it was time let them have some peace and quiet...well if Ben would allow it that is.
Relena gave a small glare at Ben as the young man began walking over to them. "What," said Ben innocently," it is true!!!"

Letting out a soft laugh to Ben's comment Brut kicked up his stride a little bit heading straight for the store house.
"Why do you think i come in so late Ben?" he thinks to himself. though there was a smile on his face it was more the thought of being out in these fields at night again. the peace and natural silence that surrounds the world at night was one of the best things he had ever felt. plus it gave him more time to practice what he was 'searching' during all of his free time. most people would understand him. though they would not fear him as much as he thought he knew that if he ever cam out completely to the world he would live a life lone, or with few friends and nothing else. for the moment that kind of life suited him. but eventually he would like to settle down though he might have to give up his past attire to do that.

Relena turned to the young man just before he reached them. Honestly, she didn't know his name. To keep her old friend future generations safe she tended to keep her distance and looked like she was in no friendship with them. However, he was grown now and fully capable to take of himself. After all, the kingdom was, for once in a long time, peaceful and carefree.
"What is your name young man," asked Relena gentle as she gave a welcoming bow of her head. She was curious.

"Verlassene Brut Miss." he comments bowing gently as his feet brought him to a stop a few feet from her person. rising his body up slowly after a few moments he looked the queen in her eyes with his face holing a stone silent appearance as he kept his voice equally quiet. Taking a quick look at Ben his face cracked into a slightly wicked smile before he looked to the ground nd back to Relena. he figured that he would have been slightly worried about telling his name but Brut figured what the hell the worst that would happen is that his life would get a lot more complected.

Relena arched an eyebrow at the young man, "Brut huh...interesting choice of a name. Your parents must have had a wonderful sense of humor." Her attention was drawn to Ben as the man tremble slightly. Was he having a espiode or something?
Ben suddenly jumped the distance between him and Brut and grab him by the collar, which was when he forced the young man into a bowing position. "You knuckle head youth," hollered Ben, "Pay your respects!!!" Ben looked up to Relena and didn't multiple bows himself to her. "Please forgive the young one here, respects and manners are appearently lost on this generation."
Relena just simply stared at the sight before her. She never expected and certainly didn't demand respect and obiedence from anyone except from a few individuals...mainly her bloody pain in the a** council! Sure she was the Queen and rule of all this Dark Kingdom touched but being called "Your majesty", "Queen", "Milady" could get old really fast. She usually liked being seen as a normal commoner or equal...most of the time. "Ben," called Relena quietly drawing Ben's nervious stare, "Let the poor man up...surely you know me better than this?"
Brut was immediately release with Ben grumbling something about "Still, should be excepted...". Relena shook her head, regardless...she wasn't that much of a b***h. Well, at least she didn't think she was that much of one. She looked up to Brut, believing she owe him some sort of apology. "Forgive Ben," said Relena gently, "he's old school and been a good friend of mine for a long, long time."

"He's still right..." Brut comment calmly a he stands up slowly his mind wheeling over her comment about his parents. "Forgive my ma'ma, but my name was given to me by the temple i was raised at. my mother was a young maiden of the house who cared for me as best she could. i dont know my real parents, aside from their names, and a painting done by the temple a few year before i was found."

((ack...could have mention that....!! He is related..somehow...to your old vampire kingdom character...right...RIGHT!!!???))
Relena form immediately straightened. She had not realized that he didn't know his true parents. She forgot what had happen so long ago, and slipped up. A small sound escaped her as she mental kicked herself. Now, how was she going to resolve this!?!
"Yes," started Relena slowly as if searching for the right words, "um...I am sorry. I am apparently mistaken..." She really didn't want this young man to follow her old friend, his relative, foot steps. He had fought by her side of so long and been there when she needed, but he was still human and it was no life for him. After Wanda die...he withdrew even more before passing away. He never minded still, but Relena hated to see him fight for her and get hurt so badly in the past battles of the kingdom.
She did miss her old friend and sister.
((I am sure a big edit is needed...just tell me...hell what was your old character name even!))

((no your right, Brut is a descendant of my old caricature. i think his nae was Morti... i think. no edit needed. its just a twisted family life for him biggrin ))
"Forgive my bluntness, my lady. but if your talking of the line of death, that was sired from a man named Morti. than you are right. i am from his blood. I've dug through the books in the library for months now gathering all the information i could to prove or disprove that name. my family has always held a line mixed with humans and vampires. every line i can note was a bonding of such. almost like they were trying to create a new breed. a fools errand but non the less they all took the name of Morit, Latin for death, once their father died. keeping the once mighty human warrior that tangled with the vampire Wanda Rose and her many sides. winning her heart every time... im named such because i was considered nothing to the family i was born into. a mistake..." He stops himself as his emotions started to rise into pure anger, and a thirst for revenge or blood soaked the air around him and clung to his eyes for a few moments after. taking a deep breath he relaxed his hands from the rocks of a fist hey had curled into and his stature returned to the boy that stood before her in the first few moments of their meeting.
"A pure human had no place in their halls despite the fact that they were my parents they gave me to the temple to save my life. and for that i thank them every day and moment. but i am no longer able to take that mans name. even though i'm probably the only one that can truly call himself death."

Relena listened to him go from a steady explaination to a full on rant filled with anger and resentment. She didn't blame him at all. To be left alone all this time. It was then that his words finally hit her. He was indeed related to Morti and his family had abandoned him! She knew they had passed away but she had been under the impression he was still within the family and being with them...not apart from them like some disease.
"What the hell," hissed Relena outloud. She quickly snapped her head up and bit startle that she had spoke aloud than to herself. She knew the Morti family tree well, but as thought before, she tended to keep herself distant from them to not get them involved her problems and dangers as the true Morti had. Still, this had no excuse for them abandoning one of their own.
Relena sighed and looked up to Brut, hoping he would not pursue her outburst, "Tell me something. You mention something about "Pure Humans having no place"? Please explain in detail..." She want to know everything he did because she just cleared her books and had every intend of meeting up with Morti's family tree!

Letting out a dep and long sigh, Brut collected his thoughts and his soul calming himself down just enough to look at Relena with out a flood or rage ripping out of him.
"that is a long story m'lady, and i apologies for my bluntness. but i need to get to work." Turning away form her he gets about a step away before he stops and looks over his shoulder to her. "but if you really want to know. you can join me, and ill tell you every thing i know... although its only what the priests at the temple relayed to me."

Ben spoke up then, "The queen doesn't do labor work boy...!" "I could use a new workout routine." Ben spun around to Relena as she pulled at the edges of her gloves to make sure they were on right, "But...but...but..."
She walked passed Ben, after giving him a strong pat on his shoulder. "Besides," she said as she walked up to Brut, "I believe the both of us have some questions that the only the other can answer. I don't know about you, Brut...but my curiousity is definitly perked now."
With that she passed him and helded into the field with her hand beginning to glow.
