I’m afraid of the demons of ignorance that that terrorize the minds of the innocent. Like those who chased the witches away with the obnoxious clanging of pots and pans when all they wanted to do was thank the earth and wish for a bountiful harvest. I’m afraid of the ignorance that spread like a fog by those who do not understand and take it upon themselves to dictate to others what is right to believe, who decide for the rest of the world what is evil and what it not, rather then take the time to understand the beliefs of those who might accept them. I’m afraid of the dark side, the decay of the intellectual mind that comes as a cruel side affect of the being in the presence of this ignorance for too long, the ignorance that threatens to consume you and bring you down to its level of stupidity and rage
