Tinania sat in her room, her fingers are her temples as she leans back against her pillow. The day after the best date ever, she gets a visit from her Aunt Morgana. At first she was happy to take her child in while her Aunt went off to war, but now? Well now she was having second thoughts.
In the other room was two screaming children. Not upset, no they were happy as they chased after Kaela and Rose, both who were actually trying to get away from the dragon pair.
Seiji who was running now, was attempt to grab ahold of Rose. It wasn't that he was trying to hurt her. He just happen to see on the tv a cat fly. So now he was curious if Rose could fly. He didn't seem to understand why Rose was so against throwing her from the balcony.
Nirendra on the other hand, was just copying Seiji. Not that she was running, she was actually crawling herself. Her eyes fixed on the bright colorful Kaela like she was a gem. A gem in which she wanted to hide in a safe place so no one could get ahold of her.
With a sigh, Tinania actually frowns as she thinks of Zhane. She found she missed him alot. If he were here, she knows he be able to help her, and then help calm her nerves at this point.
Glancing towards the computer, she keeps hoping a window would pop up. But it seem like Zhane had vanished off the planet on her.

Tinania's phone would ring a few moments later, on its other end being a very frazzled someone indeed.
Zhane huddled on the foot of his bed, eyes locked on the fish tank where the small mermaid child was. She...it looked like a she to him, at least...gave an experimental flick of her fins, bringing her forward a few inches to bump her head lightly against the glass.
A small trail of silver bubbles ecaped her mouth which may have been a cry of surprise, he wasn't sure. This had been the last thing he'd expected to be trying to sort out when he'd originally closed himself in his room to wrap christmas gifts.
In a more rational frame of mind, he would have called for his mother....or better yet, called Karma and asked her where exactly she'd found this egg. However, at the moment, he'd done what had made the most sense to his near-panicked brain...
...he'd called Nani.

Tinania lifts her eyes, eying the phone as it goes off. She was almost tempted to just let it ring. With a sigh, she picks her phone as she flips it open. Without even looking at who was on the other end, she puts the phone to her ear "This is Tinania."
In the other room, a couple screams come from it. Not to long after a loud screaming noise of a cat who had just been caught "SEIJI PUT ME DOWN!!!"

"Nani!" he exclaimed at the sound of her voice, his tone a weird jumble of both relief and panic. "You're home, thank god."
Smooth. Night after your first date and you're calling her in a panic.
He wished that irksome little voice of reason in his head would shut up, just for a night. He knew full well these were not the best terms to be calling one's newly-entitled girlfriend under, but it also wasn't every day that a baby came exploding out of a year-dormant egg either.

Blinking a few times, Tinania pulls the phone away from her ear to look at the screen. It was Zhane, but why on earth did he sound so stressed out. Putting the phone back to her ear she licks her bottom lip "Yea its me, whats wrong? You sound like you been crying or something."
She had completely forgot about the two babies in the other room for a moment, as her full focus was on Zhane at the moment.
Seiji whimpers as Rose grew to her human forms, holding Zhane out away from her "No you don't get to throw me out the window. I already told you I can't fly." glancing down at Nirendra, she was glad to see she distracted the little girl long enough for Kaela to get away also.
Kaela shifts to her other form also, her long dark green hair hiding her face as she looks to her sister "You know I didn't sign up to babysit two babies. Why did we get stuck with them?" leaning down she picks up Nirendra, her loose light blue hair flowing around her pale skin as she reaches towards Seiji.
Rose smirks as she looks towards Kaela "Because Nani needs a break, if you hadn't noticed she been stressing herself out. Trying to take on so many things at once. It's been to much for her."

"No....no, not crying. Not yet anyway..." he said, watching as the tiny blue infant stared at him through the glass with terrible fixation, as if trying to bring him into focus. Hands pressed against the side of the tank, and a moment later so did her face.
He wasn't sure, but thought he could hear a small whimper of frustration from beneath the water. Drawing a deep breath, he tried to calm himself. It wasn't like some frothing evil alien had burst out of the egg and was on a mission to get at his brains or anything...
"My aunt gave me this egg....thing....that she said was dead, yanno?" he said in a slightly steadier voice. "I've been keeping it in a tank with some goldfish in my room taking guesses as to what it might be."
The goldfish...! His eyes darted around the tank in search of the small creatures. As the mermaid was taking up most of the tank, he couldn't tell if they were still there or not.
"Well....it wasn't dead." he finished his thought at last. "....and now I have a baby something, and I don't know what to do."

Sitting there in silence for a couple minutes, Tinania tries to understand what Zhane had just said to her. Another baby? Did he really just say another baby? Taking a deep breath, she found she was scared to talk "Zhane...are you able to bring it over? I need to see this in person, and well I have something I need to show you also...."
This was a bad dream, that is what it was. She would wake up, and everything would be back to normal. She knew deep down inside herself, she was lying. This was very real, and right now she had to be strong. If she wasn't, they were both going to break.

"Bring her over?" he parroted, feeling his eyes widen. What, like, pick her up? What if he hurt her?
She was tinier than a normal newborn. And from where he was sitting, she looked like she was covered in delicate fins waiting to be torn and vibrant scales that could be easily-upended.
He hadn't batted an eye about holding Seiji, or about dealing with Phae when she'd been younger. So why it was, exactly, that this one got his back up so badly was beyond him.
Because Seiji and Phae didn't spontaneously appear in my room, for one... he thought to himself. Also, there was that deep gut feeling that this one was his. ....and that was a whole NEW can of worms.
The young one flicked her tail again, still staring up at him. "Yeah....I mean, I can try. I dunno if she can be out of the water or not..."

Tinania chews on her bottom lip before she sighs "Please? I'll have the bathtub ready if need be. I just need to see you Zhane, my nerves are shot and I am gathering your probably the same right now." looking towards her closed door, she was glad to hear it gone quiet. That meant that Rose and Kaela managed to calm the other two down.
Sure enough, both the little dragons were in the other room coloring. Zhane was working on a picture of a fox, while Nirendra was working on a picture of a pig.
Rose and Kaela were sitting close by, both keeping their eyes on the two kids. Right now they didn't seem to trust them, as from this early they knew they would not be safe if they took their eyes off of them.

Nani'd hit the nail on the head there. Right now, it was going on about twenty minutes since she'd emerged from her egg with a splash and a spray of bubbles, and he'd felt as if he'd been dragged backwards through the emotional wringer.
And this one wasn't even MAKING any noise...
"I'd like to see you too, Nani..." he said, clutching the phone a bit tighter. They'd not spoken since their date save a brief hello online and though it had only been a day and some change, it had felt like much longer.
...though he'd not exactly wanted it to be under these circumstances.
His eyes flicked ceilingward in thought as he drew in a deep breath and let it out again. "I'll come." he told her. "I just need to figure out a way to get her there, that's all."

Tinania couldn't help but smile, she would have Zhane close by. Closing her eyes she chuckles alittle "Alright, I will have the bathtub filled with luke warm water. I shall see you in a bit okay?" she winces as she hears a loud scream from the other room "Zhane i need to go, I think one of the babies got Rose." quickly hanging up the phone, she runs down the hallway to the living room.
Sure enough, sitting in the middle between two dragon babies was Rose. Every part of her body was covered from head to toe in water. Her green eyes glaring at Tinania then back at the babies.
Seiji and Nirendra didn't seem to have a clue as to what was going on. They both sat there coloring once again. A giggles come from them once in awhile.
Kaela sat in the corner, as if she was trying to hide. Every once in awhile she would peek her head out from under her tail.

"Okay I'll see you--" he didn't get a chance to finish as the line went dead in his ear. He tapped the off button with his thumb absently, setting it aside and focusing, once again, on the tank.
He knew he should have been excited about seeing Nani again....and he -was-...but right now it was eclipsed by the more pressing matter of how, exactly, he was going to transport the little one from point A to point B.
Clearing his throat he rose from the bed to approach the tank slowly. "Hey there..." he said, watching the mermaid as she continued to goggle up at him from beneath the water. Smiling a bit, he reached out a hand to the surface of the water. "Can you understand m--"
No sooner had his fingertips rippled the surface than there was a sudden flurry of motion as the finned child did a frantic flip in the tank, spraying him with water as she did so and seemed to be trying, without much success, to hide herself.
Zhane jolted his hand back. "Hey, its okay, I'm not gonna hurt you...easy..."
Clearly, this wasn't going to be as easily done as he'd hoped...

Tinania moves towards the rather furious Rose, hoping to calm her friend down. As her hand touches Rose's shoulder, she screams and backs up as Rose attempts to attack her. Eyes wide, she covers her mouth with both hand to stop from screaming anymore.
Rose really didn't mean attack Tinania, in fact the look on her face when she realized who touched her said that. Looking away, she mews before getting up and running from the room.
Kaela sat there in shock, as she had never seen Rose attack anyone. Looking back towards the hall in which Rose ran, she too mews.
Slipping to the ground, Tinania takes a few deep breaths "Go to her Kaela, please make sure she is okay." she didn't look up, she just sat there trembling. Only after she knew Kaela ran from the room, did she clutch her hands into fist.
Nirendra and Seiji sat on the ground confused as to what just happen. Screaming, the people running from the room. And now it look like Tinania was going to cry.
Getting up slowly, Seiji moves towards his mother. Laying his head on her lap, he look up at her for a moment "Moma okat?"
Tinania gives a small nod, then picks up Seiji. Hugging her son close she closes her eyes "Mommie's okay sweetie." opening her eyes, she glances down as she feels Nirendra slip into her lap, then lay her head against her stomach.

It was nearly two hours later when there was a knock at Nani's door. Zhane was bedraggled, still slightly-damp, and clutching a pile of wet towels to his chest, wherein the finned infant was curled.
It had figured that she had squirmed, tried to escape, and done all sorts of acrobatics on the drive over while he tried to keep a hold on her, but now that he WASN'T trying to keep them on the road, she had settled down and now seemed to be eying everything with cool curiosity, most of all him.
Looking down at her, he shook his head with a sigh. No wonder in the pictures of him when he'd been little, his parents had always looked like death warmed over.
If nothing else, at least, it seemed the little one was able to leave the water, which made things easier. As a chilled wind touseled past them, she gave a small cry of dislike.
"I know, I know..." he told her gently, tugging a corner of the towel over her a bit more firmly as he gave another knock.

Instead of Rose normally greeting Zhane at the door, it was Tinania instead. She look like she been through hell and back so to say. But with two little babies running around, and the person normally helping you hiding. Tinania fully understood why Rose was so angry.
Giving Zhane a small smile, she pulls the door open even wider "You don't know how happy I am to see you." looking down at the bundle in his arms, she arches a brow before looking up at Zhane "Is this her?"
Down in the living room, Seiji sat with Nirendra as they watch the tv. Who would have honestly thought, that by putting on a movie both of them would have calm down.
Nirendra wings move slowly as she drinks for the bottle she was made.
