Do you ever feel like nobody is there for you? I've recently moved back to where I'm from. I've got a few friends that are still left here (most went away to college and escaped). I feel like the friends I've got left here don't really want to hang out with me. They're always busy with other plans, and don't think to invite me. Plus, when I call and leave a message asking them to call back, they don't.
I feel like I have nobody... crying

*hugs* you still have us here. I know what it's like to have nobody. I mostly have associates; my friends are mostly those that moved away, and all those that try to be my friend aren't really interested in the things I am into. I can't be myself unless I'm online(sad, and trueV_V), but at least we've both got friends here. God's always with you too, so don't feel so bad. He'll never let you down.

Thanks guys. Now here's a semi-rant from me:
Well, earlier today I was talking to my friend that lives in Hawaii (she was also my brother's girlfriend). She tells me that she's coming up in January to house-sit my mother's house while they're in Belize.
I have absolutely NO knowledge of this trip, which ticks me off. I would LOVE to go there. Plus, it's already enough my mom has been to Hawaii about 3 times without me, and she keeps promising me she'll take me there.
Also, since I'm apparently NOT going on this trip to Belize, don't you think that she would ask ME to house-sit, since I'm a heck of a lot closer than Hawaii?
Am I overreacting?

(about semi-rant) I know exactly how you feel. My parents are leaving me here alone right after christmas and then for two weeks in june they're doing it again. I wasn't invited to come along either time and my parents just want to stay here, alone. (yes I'm old enough to take care of myself but still). So if i can arrange it right I'm going to stay at my friends house both of those times. ( sweatdrop sorry for my own little rant) and no, it's not fair for parents to do that if the children are still around.

I can simpathise with you on nearly all parts(ok all)
I've also recently moved, but further away (about an hour more) from my home town, so instead of my old friends not taking notice of me, I'm going through the process of finding new ones.
Most of my family has moved up to Utah, so I don't have them to talk to face to face.
I'm also feeling Very lonely.
And many times my parents have planned things that I knew absolutly nothing about, that involved me, untill they started talking about it to some one else. It's really frustrating to not know what's going on sometimes. Especially when it involves somthing that takes a little time to plan and possibly pack for.
I don't know if you're over reacting, because I'm in the same boat...

I don't know why, but it really hurts. I don't know what I did wrong. cry

What is your mother thinking not taking you to where ever. My parents go over everything the family's planing, months in advance if not years(they plan to move to Utah in three years and told everybody about that. If that's not planing, what is). Have you asked her about this yet? If not ask her. See if, for a fact, she's doing this trip(your friend could be pulling your leg or be miss informed). If she is, ask her why she never told you about it. Also ask her to tell you what the "family" is planing. If she isn't going(give her a benifit of a doubt, to be nice), tell her about your conversation. Maybe it'll ring up a memory about it and she would explain it better. It just really sounds like you two need to talk for a while.
