Southern Shore

The Southern Shore is located on the southern edge of the border and the continent. Numerous battles have been made here by both empires before. The surroundings are quite warm and pleasant, opposite from the Northern side.

The diamonds of the sky....

She walked through the area, carefully keeping her cloak hood up to shade her sensitive eyes from the bright light. It was warm here, not a climate she enjoyed for long, but it was tolerable today. She was in good spirits and her wings seemed almost to glimmer. Though, she did admit, they were slightly strange. Her wings were the deepest dark sky blue with traces of silver streaking their forms to create the impression of almost a night sky. Silver eyes gleaming from beneath her cloak as she walked along the beach, she noted the rolling of the waves and the many stones which lined the cliffs.

A dark cowl rested around her shoulders, hanging open to reveal her gentle curving frame and carmel skin. There were a few pink scars that were visible at her sides, but the cloak conceled their true nature. She was dressed to kill, as one might say, but to Celeste, it had an entirely different meaning. Her simple tank top of black was made of link fabric, useful in repelling light arrow heads, and also flexible for quick movement. It was also organic, something she very much appreciated when shifting through the shadows, as her chainmail had been known to... disappear. Very akward moments had occured until she finally found the weave. Her pants were made of the same material, but dyed a lighter color of gray. And around her throat was a small dark blue and silver pendant stone, perhaps the size of a grape, but perfectly round and surrounded on either side by two silver beads. It had been a gift to her from her mother, Sky, and part of her inherited trait of necrogenisis. She had to wear it or risk being drained from the light which prickled her skin.

Along her forearms rests Ichigaki and Iroko, her hand blade dirks. The arm sheiths held them comfortably with their double hilts. Besides these, three throwing blades rested on her person, well concealed and easily unsheathable in seconds from the least likely of places which included down her back, in her boot, and at her side. The last weaponry she held was Deathwhisper, her long bow which she wore over her shoulder with a quiver. She was unusually well stocked for a citizen, but she had learned long ago the consequences for being ill prepared.

Pausing, she frowns. She had let her mind wander, and now she was not sure where she was. With a slight sigh, she steps back into one of the few shadows and beats her wings as she jumps to give her a better view of the shore and area where she was at. "Wow..." she mused softly in her bell like voice. It was impressive, but in a dark manner. She could see the scars of the land where the battles had been fought between sides, fallen banners swaying like ghosts in the breese.

[I do love it. ^^]

His own feet stood on the sand. He felt no temperature, though he always knew what it was. "53..." Raising his hands, the wind came in, blowing the heat away, and moving over Shiro like a veil of silk. The rocks seemed to moan. "So... this be what it may." Shiro smiled, walking on the beach. Staring down, he noticed another figure, her heart barely beating. She seemed in need of some weather excitement.

Rubbing his thumb against his middle finger, the winds picked up, the water swirled, and the lightning flashed. Walking up to her, he sat down by her side. "The storm... bright, quick... and mysterious." The power was great, and very odd. He'd just have to see her reaction.

His own hair was a bit ruffled, from being hugged earlier. The clouds covered the sun, creating the impression of night. Of course Shiro saw not out of his milky white eyes. He heard, and felt the storm from the very depths of his heart. The green scarf around his neck was blown around like violent tentacles of a kraken. Holding up his tanto, which appeared from no where, he swung it around, the winds and water picking up.

[Y'all know that I'm making a storm..]

User ImageINDENT [E] nvy arrived a while after Shiro did. Though, he was still quite a ways from the shore. " That kid's pretty fast.. " Envy said as he looked at the sky. Turning from the golden sunny day to a stormy one. " Must be the works of the kid, eh? " Envy said, talking to himself. He turned around to check if his small group was still there, and they were. Miss Anything you want and Aarde was behind him since Shiro had already went past them and went ahead.

Envy and his white tiger, which he was riding, stopped in a small hill that overlooked the shore. There he saw a female and the young boy, which was Shiro. Has he already made a friend? That was quite quick for just a few minutes. Envy asked himself. Envy felt the cold breeze. He looked up at the clouds that covered the golden sun from before. It was now gone. The Souther Shore was always sunny and warm, unlike the one up north, which was the total opposite: snowy and cold.

The sixteen year old stayed at the hilltop, leaving Shiro and the girl that was with him alone for now. Envy turned the tiger around, now facing Miss Anything You Want and Aarde. " Well, this weather seems pretty.. " Envy said, not finishing his sentence, then looked up at the sky. " .. Nice. " He said, now finishing it.

"Do you like the snow and storm?" The words were small, very quickly said. Shiro was indeed quick, using the wind to push him. He had already stepped to the side of Envy, tilting his head curiously. It was odd to see Shiro actually change the weather like this, but it was fine for a place where no one came besides tourists and armies.

Shin walked up the hilltop and look around, Shin felt the blow of the wind. Zuki fur ran on top of the Courant to feel the wind better. He saw Envy and he sneak up behind him, "I see you made some friends today" he said with a slight chuckle. Zuki jump on Envy head to get a better view of the shore.

Aarde walked off a bit further away from the group. He needed to be alone for a short time. While he was here he might as well make some use of his time. Taking a Trench knife from his pocket he gripped it tightly.
The blade of the knife started to move rapidly at a high frequency making a loud creeching noise. "Looks like my weapons are in good condition." he said keeping the knive in his hands. You never know when it could come in handy. Staring up at the sky Aarde smiled a bit seeing that Shiro's weather changing abilities where in effect again.

The diamonds of the sky....

Her breath caught for a moment as she feels the drop in temperature. It could not be normal, for she knew that the southern continents never lost thier golden sun which was her antagonist. Her ears had picked up the sound of feet on the rocks above her, light and strangely precise. Turning her silver gaze upward as she drew her cloak tighter around her, she turns as the winds suddenly lash as though some beast spirit had become a part of them and the waves thrash as though they are tired of their lolling and shifting. As the lightning struck, she felt a chill run through her. This was not natural at all...

The words drift to her ears as she turns, the wind whipping her coppery lockes to the side as well as her cloak, revealing her four dark wings. Her silvery eyes peirce through the darkening area of the storm as she allows the wind to sweep the cloak hood from over her eyes and reveal her face to him. It was a proud profile, but one with an intelligent gleam to them. Darkness seemed to radiate invisibly from around her, thick enough to be felt and made uneasy with those who were unfarmilliar to its cold touch. "The bringer of light and darkness... wild and uncontrolled..." she mused, her gentle voice now quiet and guarded, the accent mixed with that of the nuetral western lands. A fury by birth she could recognize the polar oppisite of her kind, and that alone made her wary. But his dialect was strange, not the normal cadence of Cultean. "Is this your storm?"

She could sense that he was sensitive to her and his eyes were slightly unsettlig to her, for she was a user of darkness and illusions. Yet, she was also trained in altering not only vision but sound as well as feel by her emotions which could change faster than the lightning could strike. Her hands rest comfortably on her double hilted dirks, a habit, not a threat. But also a precaution.

Her eyes flick as others arrive and she steps back slightly as she smiles at the question one had been given to answer. She did prefer the cold weather to the heat of the day. Relaxing slightly, her fingers touch the darkblue stone which she wore on her necklace as she took a breath. It helped to keep the heat from effecting her too heavily. She was sure now about the dialect. It was definately not from her region. But her own would not be easily distinuguished as she had wandered for many years. Falling into one of the shadows she shifts through it until she comes to a slightly less crowded area that was still within polite distance to the group. She didn't like being in areas with a lot of people, especially when she didn't know them well.

Joy looked at the storm as she wondered if this was okay to be here, she wasn't scared but only curious. Smelling the air a little bit, she could smell the snow rather quickly and it was eternal bliss to her. Joy Ann didn't see snow that often at the palace and when she did it was only because someone manipulated it for her. Not the real thing, oh well it wasn't important anyway. Looking at Envy she wondered where he had gotten a white tiger to ride. Poor tiger must have back problems since it was smaller then him, poor animal being abused for a ride. How horrible Envy was as an owner of a beautiful tiger. Pulling her hoody down again, she didn't like to be in neutral area for the sole fact that people said it wasn't safe for her. Worse if they went to the Culten empire, she would probably run for her god for saken life then get into worse trouble then what she already was.

"It is stunning"

User ImageINDENT [E] nvy felt something go on top of his head: Zuki. He then turned around, with the white tiger of course, and saw Shin. Shin is Envy's brother, at least three years older than him and the oldest of the Courant Brothers. There were only two anyway, Envy and Shin. Envy was the younger one and Shin was the older. There was a few resemblance in their appearance, but ability-wise, anyone could tell they were brothers.

" Hey Shin. And yeah, the one over there is Aarde. And the girl right here is Miss Anything You Want. "

Envy said, smiling at the girl and then looked towards Aarde who seemed to be checking his weapons. Envy looked at Shiro who was suddenly right beside him. The kid was smaller, in height, than Envy. Envy stood six feet and two inches. Envy's grey colored eyes turned from that color to a light blue-like color. It still had small shades of grey, but this was normal for Envy. His eyes always changed colors depending on the surrounding and or the environment.

" Why are you looking at me like that for..? "

Envy asked that towards Miss Anything You Want. Envy then got off the white tiger, then patting the tiger on the head, the animal glowed even brighter, then suddenly turned into a circular object which seemed to be a halo. The halo hovered above Envy's head. That was the difference between the two Courant Brothers, one had a halo, one did not. Though, Shin did have a different ability that Envy did not seem to have. Envy looked at the girl and then back towards Shin. He sighed as he looked towards the girl that was talking to Shiro, it seems like she has noticed them arrive. Envy gave her a smile and a small wave, the friendly kind he was.

" Hi there. "

Envy announced towards the other girl that Shiro had just met. Letting out a relaxing sigh, the sixteen year old stretched his arms up high, as if he was reaching towards the sky. Then, he stopped and went back into a normal standing position.

Shiro smiled, nodding. "It be my storm. None of you will be harmed... hopefully." The wind picked up, suddenly letting the wind howl in agreement. Listening to her words, his expression was still calm. A Cultean? Here? It was an odd thought, but swinging the tanto around, the winds kept swirling. Lightning struck the shoreline, a few miles away. Snow fell, in heavy drifts. [Since we all love snow... ><] It seemed surreal, to Shiro himself.

Shiro was a master of telling what people would do. Their heart, their breathing, their shifts in movement. It seemed like everyone was fairly excited, and he smiled, the purpose of the storm met.

Joy looked over at the elf like person, she knew what nation she was from and it kind of bothered her. Looking over at the new man, she was sure that was the brother of Envy, so he must not be harmful. Taking in a breath she released it, the more people that came the worse the pit of her stomach felt. It wasn't like she could trust these many people, she looked down at the sand. The sand looked the same since the last time that she had seen it. Taking off her boots and knee high, she planted her feet firmly in the sand. It was a bit mushy and cold but still cool and relaxing none the less. Smiling a bit, she continued walking, she stired a bit far from the group then sat down on the sand and looked down at the multicolored grains. There were some small holes surrounding the area where she was at, the out popped something she hadn't seen before. It was red and the thing on it's back was hard and the same color. It had six legs and two entena like eyes, what on earth was this thing? It was called a crab, she hadn't seen one in a long long time. Two claws that were held in the air, it was indeed unique looking and rather adorable. Reaching out she wanted to touch it but it began to run to the water, it was running in a weird side ways walk. How peculiar this strange crustacean was. Thinking about it, she hadn't really seen many mammals and other animals in such a long time. Shaking her head slightly, her bright red bangs left the front of her eyes. Her purple irises continued to scan the area, she was so curious about this area now. Joy had only read about it in books when she was a child but never had enough time to sit down and relax in this enviornment. It was the first time she came to this neutral area. As a matter of fact the water though it was storming looked like much fun. Perhaps she could go for a swim no matter the weather, she did want to do this for quite some time. Thinking about it she refrained from doing anything thus far.

"Where are the guards?"

Joy Ann questioned as she was still cautious about them suddenly coming out of no where and grabbing her, though this was a neutral area so perhaps none of the Atlantean guards came in this area, that would be absolute heaven! No worries though she was not certain about this just yet so she shouldn't be too confident about this. Sniffiling the air slightly, she loved the salty water scent that emerged from the water. There was no replacing this not even if there was artificial candles that tried to copy such a lovely aroma. It was impossible. Closing her eyes for a second, she just tried to take this all in and store it in the back of her cherished memories.

The diamonds of the sky....

What an interesting statement. As if he knows, she thought silently her aura darkening slightly. Turning her face to the sky to allow the cooling snow to drift over her carmel skin, she allows out a small sigh. It was calming for her, this stange storm. She was a child of chaos and thus the random lightning blizzard was welcoming. And it took care of the heat which she could not stand. Yet, she was irnoically of a tanned complexion. As her auburn hair settles to cascade down her back with its curls, she gently touches a few flakes as the land in her hand, but do not melt for a moment due to her cold aura.

She had subtly noticed the name of the man who had jumped the other was Shin and Aarde she guessed to be the one who had broken off from the group. The nameless girl seemed slightly apart from them, as though she were wary of some danger that they could not sense. To the one who greeted her, she merely smiled in response, not being one for words and ercognizing the trouble that could brew if she slipped in her dialect.

Subtly she turns staring out at the sea, her silver eyes lost in thought. They shone with many things, silent and unspoken but marking. The cloak which she was wearing pulls up in the wind slightly to reveal the faint pink edging of scars, but she pulls it tight around her before her shame is known. Her cheeks flush in slight anger at the memory of the day, her fingers tightening on the pendant which she had been rolling on the chain. The burst of emotion made the darkness pool at her feet, dropping the temperature around her, but not in the area a strange enomaly of her emotional storms.

She tensed as she heard the girls question. She had been deep in memory and she reacted automatically, her wings spreading to launch her into the air, her bow in her hand without a second thought. The violent reaction was fluid like water, but threatening as shards as the darkness coated her wings, hovering around her in a solid form. Her temperature seemed like ice now and her eyes narrowed in suspicion of the group. She was not afraid to fight and to hell with the odds of it. The emotions raging through her are vibrant pulses of energy strangely calm, but intense.

Shin saw the young boy control the weather, "Interesting" he said to himself. Shin grayish, blueish eyes shine as the sun ray hit his eyes. Zuki jump up in the air and shapeshift into a Owl and flew around. Shin shook his head his happiest that his little friend was having fun. "I guess I can go shopping tomorrow" he said with a sigh. He didn't really say much to people, he has to be close friends with them before he get close to them. Snow fell to the ground, luckily Shin was wearing a long sleeve jacket.

What an odd person... Shiro sighed, nodding. The storm raged on, violent yet beautiful. The tide began to shift and slide, like a dancing walrus. [?] Swinging the tanto, he sighed. The stormy weather was lovely, and the snow was caught in his own hair, and touched upon the lids of his milky white eyes. Sticking out his tongue, he felt the cold embrace of a snowflake fall on his tongue, then the disappearing feeling of the snowflake. It was odd, but he tried to catch some in his hands. Moving closer to the shores, he dipped his toe into the moist sand, waiting for the waves to come up, and let his feet feel what his eyes lost.

The water came in a gust, though it didn't take Shiro with it as it went back. He stood there, letting the water lap at his toes. Turning back, he listened to the sounds of the others. Shiro really couldn't get an accurate picture of their faces, unless he actually laid the wind on their faces. As the wind picked up, it gusted over them, the glorious feeling still stuck, there. With all of them.

"You don't come from here, do you? You have a good cover... but my ears are still better." Being at a safe difference, he felt better about what he could say. Shiro smiled solemnly, breathing out. "We won't hurt you..." the speech was so silent, that even she could barely hear it, the others probably wouldn't be able to hear it at all.
