This was probably not a good idea... after all, greed WAS her sin side. But... might as well get over it quickly. She'd have to see the business sometime. She got off the bus to a large, almost menacing building. However, there were a lot of banners and signs lightening up the scenery. The building used to be a butchery, then a Tibetan Monastery, and was now an art center. She walked into the building, making VERY sure to keep her eye on the girl to make sure she didn't snatch anything.
Cera herself was first very frightened. The building reminded her of the bad place, and she clung to her present (still in it's box) for comfort. However, once she was inside, her attitude to the place sure changed. She was looking at everything, and tried to snatch at different things in the different, and would have succeeded if Laura didn't stop watching her every second.
Finally, they got to a small studio with a single cash register, and jewelry on every table. She stopped just long enough to open the door, and change the sign on it from "closed" to "open"... and the moment she turned around, Cera was wearing every single necklace and bracelet. She wasn't pierced, so the earrings were left alone. Laura sighed. "What am I going to do with you?" It was going to be impossible to separate her from the jewelry.

Ebony was excited as she flounced into the shop, a bit ahead of her Mommy. Today she wore a pretty pale blue dress and stockings, and was looking for some shinies to wear. Some were for her, but a few would be for her big brothers.
As they entered, Ebony was about to start looking at the jewelry when she spotted something much more interesting. It was almost as if the child had a 'new friend' sense, because she and the bunny plush she was carrying had soon run over to investigate Cera, rather than the merchandise (luckily Dartie when to look at that, so they still had a reason to be in there).
"Hihi!" the purple one called, bouncing on her toes and waving. This other girl had feet like Drake! "You have neat feets!"

Laura was VERY confused about Ebony. What a VERY strange child! She waved at the child's mother. "Hello. Are you getting a clearance day gift?" She pointed at her daughter. "She's pretty posessive. If you want something she's wearing, I'll try to get it, but it'll be easier to get the earrings. Also, we have a 50% discount on gift boxes."
Cere blinked, looking at the wings, almost not hearing what Ebony said at first, before hearing the last bit. "Huh?" It took a little while for the message to get through, before smiling. "Thanks!" She grinned, glad that her feet was, well, hers. She then went over to the wings, pulling at them. She hadn't seen wings before, so she thought they were detachable, like clothing, and not attached like her horns and ears.
Laura saw the scene, and quickly ran over to pull Cere away and picked her up. And that's when the girl started screaming. She wanted those wings. "Cere, you can't pull on people like that!" "But I want the pretties!" Laura sighed. "I'm really sorry, miss. She can be very... greedy."

"oh oh! That's why her feet looked like Drake's! She's one of his." Ebby observed with a nod. "You can't have my wings, they don't come off. Just like I can't have your feets." she told the other girl. "Doesn't work like that."
Dartie looked over the earrings while the others were distracted. Well, her daughter did seem to think her big brothers' pierced ears were cool. Maybe they could get hers done.

They both blinked. "Drake? One of his? One of his what?" Obviously, she didn't know much about what's going on.
Cere frowned. So, they don't come off. "Oh..." She frowned. "Wings..." She sighed. She wanted at least one of these 'wing' things... "Who Drake?"

"He's the Greed demon at the Sevens company." Ebby informed them with a smile. "They take the DNA from one Sin and one Virtue to make kids. She looks like one of them and you mentioned she was greedy."
Ebony suddenly had an idea. "Why's it yours?" she asked Cere with a soft, warm tone.

"Ah..." Laura quickly thought of something. "Wait... how do you know about the Sevens company?"
Cere blinked. She wasn't sure what the other was talking about... So, to do a general answer, replied with "'Cause it is." Which was, in her mind, true. She saw it, and she liked it. So she claimed it as her own. She hugged her present box tightly, before smiling.

"Because she's from there." Dartsmoore stated calmly. At this point it was starting to get really easy for her to recognize children from that place and Ebony seemed to have a sense for finding them.
"But why'sit yours? Cause some stuff is mine and I don't want it taken. Just like you don't want your stuff taken. So I gotta know what would make it mine."

Laura looked very surprised by this. "That was fast.... I didn't think I'd see another child from there this quickly... a freak incident, maybe?" She didn't think that there could be THAT MANY Sevens children.
Cera blinked, and thought about it, before shivering and saying. "I.... I don'know....." She clung tightly to her present. Thinking about it, what would keep someone from just taking her stuff...? How would she make sure that her stuff STAYS her stuff...?

"She's met seventeen other spawns from the shop - now eighteen. And can't seem to go most anywhere without bumping into one or more. So it probably isn't that freak of an incident." Dartsmoore said with a shrug.
Ebby smiled. "Maybe you should stop taking other people's stuff? Cause they don't like it when you take their stuff any more than you'd like it if they took yours. And you don't want them to take yours, do you?"

".... What? Huh?" Laura's brain broke for a few seconds, before shaking herself back to normal. "They have THAT many kids out there!?" She wouldn't refer to them as spawns; her kid was one of them!
Cera whimpered. She looked at everything she had, and now was worried... she didn't know how to separate her things from other peoples things now. How could she tell which was hers, and which wasn't? "But... but, but which is...." She shivered, not wanting to accidentally give up something that was really hers, and never see it again. And then she started to cry.

"Oh there are probably plenty more kids. They've been at this a while and haven't exactly stopped. We've had Ebony less than two months and she's already met so many so chances are there are quite a lot. " Dartie commetned with a shrug. Spawns, children, sprats, whatever. They were just words for the same thing. She didn't mean it in a derogatory sense, and Ebony knew that, so that was all that mattered.
"Oh, oh, don't cry. I didn't mean it to make you sad I just wanted you to know so you wouldn't get confused if you accidentally took someone else's thing by mistake and they wanted it back. Don't cry, please?" Ebby comfortingly put her arms around the other kid and snuggled her.

"Wow... you think this would be a big deal... that'd it'd be on the news, or something along the lines of that... do you think somebody's made a business clothing these children yet?" It was a thought... hmm... but no, she was TERRIBLE with making clothing... "Should just stick with jewelry." She mumbled to herself.
Cera sniffled, and hugged back tightly. "Okie...." She looked down at her present. "Not givin' dis back, though...." She couldn't... it was like a security blanket for her, and she wouldn't know what to do without it.

Dartsmoore gave Laura a very odd stare. "Do you know how many places on Gaia children randomly will come from without anyone expecting it? There are hundreds of them."
Ebby giggled. "Well that might be yours. You have to ask sometimes if something is yours or not. Like asking your Mommy whose it is." the toddler explained.

"Hmm..." Well, she had a point, sort of. There were plenty of ways to get children, and nobody would ask questions, but the difference there is that you went out to GET the children, and they didn't come to you... or, at least she didn't THINK they did.
Cera had never heard of the word "Mommy" before... she thought of Laura as just a strange lady that took her away from the bad building. "Muh.... 'Mommy'? Who that?" She didn't remember getting a person named "Mommy". "Still... can't give dis back... no...."
