Hello guild members, thank you for joining.

i am please to introduce this subforum as a place to chat with me and ask questions and whatnot. it does not have to be johnny depp related but can be about almost anything. i will be posting topics for discussion here or you can post stuff here to talk about with me. this is kind of an open forum place. i look forward to chatting with people.

oh ok......HI! i just joined a coupla days ago.......i really hope more people become involved--every time i click on a thread that im interested in, i see that the last reply was months ago! sometimes i feel kinda dumb posting stuff because i wonder if anyone's even gonna read any time soon. but dont worry, im not going anywhere (this is the 1st and only guild ive ever joined, so i visit a LOT biggrin ). i already friended angel_of_strength.......i really like your avi btw (the little red riding hood look was cute too!).

thanks for joining and i am glad that you are interested in being involved. i want to revive some of the old thread as well. i may just do it to see if people start checking them out more. but i know that people are busy and johnny isn't doing much right now. we normally see and influx of people coming by the guild when he has a movie just out or something like that and then it dies off. but i want to keep the guild going so i am going to try real hard to be around.

oh ok...that makes sense about the increase of activity whenever johnny does a new movie.....well, i guess summer 2009 holds some promises then (woot, woot for public enemies!!!) biggrin

Hey. I'm new, but I figured it would be good to get involved early on, so I want to ask your opinion on something. I had an argument with someone a few days ago with someone about John Dillenger (I'm glad I don't have to go through the process of explaining who that guy is and what he has to do with Johnny!!!) about whether or not the guy was a so-called "good" criminal, as in a criminal that commits crimes for the good of the public and not just for personal gain (i.e., Robin Hood). What do you think???
I think that Dillenger was a "good" criminal, NOT saying that I approve of anything that he did, but just putting out the fact that he gave much of what he took from banks to the public and that he sympathized with civilians. Not to mention that Dillenger gained popularity with the general community for his generosity and humanity.
(sorry, do I sound uptight? sweatdrop ? Haha. . . I get like that sometimes. .. . maybe I'm taking this Guild too seriously. . . redface

i guess what really matters is the fact that if he actually broke the law by stealing then he would be prosecuted no matter how honorable his intentions were. so i guess i disagree with his acts... either way you look at it there can not be a good criminal because crime is wrong...

hi angel and everyone one else. thank you for inviting me!
i'll tell you up front i do not type or spell that well. i try not to mess up much. (but things happen).
first of all i'm old(53) but young at heart. i love gaia and only resently became involved in guilds. the 16th of august is my 3rd yr anniversary on gaia. i'm more addicted than ever. what a site. i saw that you accepted me to this guild and whoo hooed a while. i can not say i have seen all of johnny depp movies(i haven't seen public enemies yet)and more but i want too soon. Angel do you or someone here know how i can see free johnny depp movies on gaia or u tube. i hate to show how untech i am. i saw some movies like charmed on gaia theaters and on a wiget i think? (facebook maybe)i forget. it has been a while.
anyway i'm rambling now.
nice to be invited. thank you!

Hey all. Wow, I haven't been here in a while. Bad Deppy.

I used to be "deppfan," but when I got gaia-married to my irl sweetie, we decided it would be cute for me to take on his avi's last name.

I feel like a bad mod. Angel, please let me know if you need help with anything ever. I'll be glad to become active again, seeing as things seem less forgotten here.
