So I have not slept at all in the past three days and I havent eaten all day. Yet the funny thing is, I guess I'm so tired that I no longer feel tired. In fact I have lost the ability to feel anything physically.
Whats the longest that you went without sleep?

I went 43 hours withot sleep once. No caffeine, I just couldn't sleep. I read until I passed out the second night. Perhaps Plethoria is afflicted with the same condition.

Well no, Its not the fact that I can't sleep its that I have to stay awake, little Cassie is sick with the mild cold and I have to stay up all day and night to make sure she doesnt choke or stop breathing.

Ah... The joys of motherhood. It gets better, I promise... I once went a full three days without sleep while my son was teething. Between diaper changes from frequent poops and the shrieking from the pain, he wouldn't sleep for more than 5 minutes. On the fourth day, his father tells me I fell asleep standing up in the shower. Good times.
You have my sympathy. And I hope Cassandra gets well soon. ^_^

Longest time without sleep? circa 5 days, afterwards I slept for like day and something :p after the thired day my whole body was numb, but my mind started to keep on going, not like normal, when you are tired and your mind becomes staggering, no, I gained a sound and sharp mind while my body was really numb, It could also be due to the fact that i was in charge of the Nintendo booth at the EGS (our equivalent to the E3) so I was busy allthe time, and the loud convention didnt allowed me to sleep while it was on.
I remember when my lil sister was sick and small, I used to stay up too just watching her breath, from time to time its almost as if they are not taking air at all, those 5-7 seconds are the longest, until finally their chest starts inhaling again, man, talk about tough, guess I wouldnt be such a bad parent, just a very weird one.

I went 6 days cause I had my assessment in a week and major backlog on work. The awesome thing I survived mostly on water and tea. I forgot to eat on a couple of those days.

Probably 3 days.
I get crazy without sleep.
This morning I was asleep by 1, up by 4 - watched a movie while freezing to death ((Summer and global warming my arse)), starts to get light out, feels like a ghost house really. No one was online so go to my room at 6 after discovering tv still indeed did suck and decided it would be a great time to take up dancing to Joy Division and the Cure. Listened to music continuously, watched the sun come up until I finally got to sleep by 9. Got up at 11:30. The most painful broken up sleep I've endured in a long time.
