Why there was a call for such a thing, it was unknown, but either way it existed. It was a ‘Day Club’ for children. The Day Club was something that mimicked nightclubs that existed for adult entertainment. Only in the Day Club there are no drugs or alcohol flying about and the thumping techno music had lyrics from children songs in them. It was a safe environment for the children from very little on up to interact. There was a ball pit, a trampoline, a dance floor, and a small bar that gave out water, juice, and varied snacks for the wee ones. There was a lounge for the parents to go hang out and they were able to easily look through a one way mirror in order to keep an anxious (or not so anxious) eye upon their charges.
Avery was on the dance floor already, him and his guardian had arrived sometime ago. Thus far the little Peacock Hiccup was enjoying himself and singing along. The music was fun! There were lots of people around and best of all there was a bunch of balloons now falling from the ceiling! What fun.

Now this was a place Absinthe could get used to hanging at. The chubby green haired monk boy was more than happy to enter the club and go off onto the dance floor by himself. His mother was the one taking him that day, so she was in the lounge pretty damn quickly, finding some corner or another to lurk in. Or sleep. One could never tell with Dartie.
Absinthe wasn't exactly a great dancer. He wasn't a bad dancer either but the fact was he wasn't great. Stepping out onto the floor, he moved as best he could, but kept getting distracted by balloons, which were fun to watch people play with, and at times by something that he just barely saw out of the corner of his eye. It was a lovely white something, swishing along the floor, but every time he tried to see it, it vanished again.
After determining that he was going to locate this pretty white swishy thing, Sinny did a rather fun twirl, looking around him as he did. When he'd stopped, the hiccup was facing the source of the swishy object -a dark skinned kid with a long tail that kept swishing just a bit into his field of view.
So, being a social critter, Sinny half-danced himself over towards Avery to say hello.
"Hi there. You's got a preety tail."

The green-haired boy didn’t have to wait long after addressing the other tailed boy (although gender could be questioned easily as Avery wore a dress as usual) before Avery grabbed for one of the other Hiccup’s hands and began to pull him along into the dance before he finally responded verbally, “Sank yew!” he said cheerfully.
“You has pretty hairs. Can I pets?” It was an interesting question but a question none-the-less it showed that the white haired and tailed boy had an interest in the other figure.

Sinny grinned as he danced along. He didn't mind having a partner, or having someone to show him how he was supposed to dance. That was all fine with him.
"Sure." the monk agreed, nodding a bit as he spoke. That was all fine and dandy with him!

Avery grinned widely as he reached over to the other boy and began to pet the hair a bit and he wrinkled his nose, “Feels nice! Whas your name? M’Avery! My papa brought me heres! I likes it. Lots of musics! Want to get some drink?” The small boy had to talk over the music and the crowd but he didn’t appear to mind. After all it was active!
Still, it would be nice to sit down and talk to the other boy, maybe they would find a place to talk after they got their drinks.

Absinthe grinned broadly. "Fankies. M'Sinny. I came wiff my Mama. I like it too. Music is neat. Suuuuuuuuuure, let's go get drinks. Drinks are good." the monk responded much in the fashion of his dance partner. Yay, just barely gotten there and already going for drinks with another kid. How fun!

It was always nice when someone was able to keep up with his rapid-fire approach to conversation and so Avery grinned brightly in approval before he simply reached forth to grab at the other boy's hand to now drag him off of the dance floor and to the drink station without a further word to be said. "I don't has a mama. Just a papa." He said sagely as he moved forward with barely a look back.

Absinthe grinned, following eagerly - though careful not to step on the pretty swishing tail. "I don't gots a Papa. Just Mama, Unca, two brothas and a sista."

They soon were at the bar and Avery ordered his juice by just pointing at the colored juice-box he wanted. It was grape. He accepted it happily from the adult serving the children and then picked up the strain of conversation once more, "Ohs! I have a sister! But she don' live wi' me. She 'as dark skin like I do but her hair is orange and pretty! Ot'erwise I just have m'papa."

Sinny shyly points to the one he wanted from the juice bar and took it from the adult with a smile and a quick thanks before turning back to Avery. The monk had gotten strawberry-kiwi and it was nummy.
"Oooooh. Cool. You's both pretty then. What's she like?"

"She has skin like me! An she has orange hairs. Her name is Bern." Avery said cheerfully, "She is nice and pretty. I gonna see her again, yup!" The peacock boy seemed very cheerful and open as he spoke, he tended to talk with his hands and gesture from time to time, even if it was a simple wave of the hand.

Sinny giggled as Avery partially repeated himself before speaking again. "What sorts of things do you do for fun?"

Avery wasn't aware of repeating himself likely because he was so excited to be talking to someone else that seemed to be taking his exuberant behavior with patience. He paused briefly when asked what he likes to do before he announced, "I like to sing!" This was followed by another pause before he said, "And I like to go on swings and I like to play with other kids. Papa doesn't have many games for me to play at home."

"ooh. Swings and singing's fun. We have some games at home but they're not always that fun. What do you like to sing?" Absinthe was still smiling warmly over at Avery, liking this other boy a lot. He was pretty and fun to talk to!
"May I pat your tail?" Sinny asked idly, admiring the white feathered mass of a tail.

"Oh! I like to sing almost anythings. Daddy lets me sing along to the radio when I get him to play it. Sometimes this guy called Tom Jones comes on and I really like him a lot! He is awesome! I sing along with him the mostest!" Avery said with a slightly starry eyed look which he blinked out of when a question caught his attention.
"Yah! Sure, s'all feathers and stuffs!" The small boy grinned happily. He was rather proud of his plumage.
