A pair of pink eyes watched out over the rouge lands. This was the first time she had left her homelands in the jungle. Only a quick peek couldn't hurt right? Oni Layla felt very safe in her home in the jungle but she almost knew every corner of that jungle by now and tought some new experiences would hurt...she was an adult after all.
He father would probably worry a little bit he always did but she was an adult and would be able to take care of herself by now.
Her white and brown coat fitted in well in the rouge lands tough she sometimes wounderd where she had gotten that coat from since her mother was blue and grey and her father green...oh well life was full of mystery.

 It was another boring day for the chocolate brown male, nothing but walking...and walking, and...well, more walking. It was ridiculous! He needed to rest, and with a bit of a hot head on his shoulders he squinted, hoping to see something (that wasn't a mirage) in the distance. Much to his dismay, there was nothing in sight. At least, nothing besides the seemingly endless savannah.
With a sigh he let his head droop, his tail now dragging behind him as opposed to it's usual wagging.
When he looked back up though, something caught his eye. It was a white and brown coated female, and it wasn't any wonder that he'd missed her when he surveyed the lands just moments earlier. She seemed to camouflage perfectly with their current surroundings. Obi quirked a brow and decided, since he had nothing better to do, to go see if she knew where the nearest source of shade was. The heat was getting to him, and it wasn't exactly all that pleasant to wake up from a massive headache not knowing where you were.

The female wagged her tail a little bit in excitement. This was all so new to her...the smells, the view and the heat. She glanced up towards the sun but that just made her head dizzy and see those small white spots that appear infront of your eyes after starring into the sun. She blinked a few times...the sun was never this strong inside the jungle maybe because there was trees and a lot of other things that protected you from direct sunliight..
" Yoosh! let's go! "
She said with a small grin on her lips and started to walk. Everything was so new even the ground under her paws felt diffrent so exciting she tought. The female was to busy watching her own feets and everything else around her so she didn't even noticed the male dog that apparently had seen her..

The walk to the femme was taking longer than he expected, half because she was pretty far off, and half because his pace was getting slower and slower. Stupid heat.. he thought grumpily to himself, looking down for only a moment, then lifted his head to see that she had started walking. Scared that he might lose track of her, he decided it was about time he made himself known, if she didn't already notice him.
With that thought he started running toward her, and he called out to her. "Hey! Hey, wait!!" Obi quickened his pace a bit so he was sure he wouldn't lose her, and when he got close enough he slowed down to a jog. When he got close enough he stopped moving entirely and tried to catch his breath so he could ask her for some help.
"Ah.." he said in-between his pants. "I was..wondering if....you knew where....the closest source of shade is.."

Oni didn't walk very far until she heard a voice behind her. Wait? Oni blinked with her pink eyes and turned around. There was another wild dog, a brown colored male. She tilted her head to the side she never seen him before he couldn't be from her pride.
But then the male said the most silliest she had heard in a long while. She didn't know if he was going for a bad pickup line or just simply wanted to talk but she couldn't hold herself from lauging..
" Well so far as i know it's never hard to find some shade~~ but i grow up in the jungle maybe that is why i found it easy "
The female dog said with a smile on her lips.

The male raised a brow, a little confused at why the femme was laughing. At her statement he took a good look around, and shook his head. So she grew up inside a jungle, and by the sounds of it she probably hasn't been traveling for too long if she thought that shade was easy to happen upon out in the open roguelands. With a small grin he shook his head and used his paw to make a sort of waving motion.
"Look around, miss. There's not a tree in sight, am I right?" he asked, eyes meeting hers for a moment. "Things out here are a lot different from the jungle, I'm guessing, so shade is a lot harder to come by. Which is why I ask."

What did Oni know anyway. Of course the jungle was the only place she knew but she still tought it was a strange question to ask a stranger that. Oh well maybe she was the one that hadn't met enough other creatures.
" Oh! i wasn't thinking about that i just came from the jungle so i haven't had enough time exploring everything yet "
She felt a little bit stupid but it was her reason. Only the jungle had been her home or was her home still she still had intention to return back. Then she looked at the male to chance the subject.
" My name is Oni Layla what is yours? "

Obi smiled, hoping it'd be enough to let her know that he didn't mean anything by his previous statement. Or, well he didn't mean to upset her, if he managed to do that. Her introduction made him think otherwise, and he felt relieved.
"It's no problem," he answered, resting his paw back on the ground. "I was just saying. Anyway, I'm Obi," the male finished, casually returning the introduction. It took a moment of slightly awkward silence for him to decide that he wanted to keep the conversation going. It was better than standing idly by a strange...that felt too weird. At least for him. "Um...it's nice to meet you. So you came from the jungle, you said?"
He hoped she'd reciprocate, even if it was only a short answer. Meanwhile, he glanced past Oni and squinted his eyes, hoping he'd get lucky and spot a small boulder or something that might be a good chance at shade.

" Ah well it's interesting i didn't think it could be that hard to find shade outside the jungle...i had no idea...well it's nice to meet you "
The girl smiled and noticed that Obi had a rare eye color as well just like she did. Evene tough his coat had natural colors just like her coat.
" Yup i grow up in the jungle so that is the only place i know so i have no idea where you can find shade out here.. "
She sighed and felt a little bit ashamed maybe she was just a stupid princess after all that didn't know anything about the outside world.

"You get lucky when you find shade out here, I'm not surprised you haven't realized it yet. Most assume it's just as easy, but it...most definitely isn't." His focus went back to Oni, and he smiled. He managed to spot a small tree that was a way's behind her, so running into her was probably a good thing. Just earlier, he was walking in the other direction.
"There's a bit of shade over there, I think. I might just be seeing things though, but it's always worth a shot. Do you wanna join me? I could maybe teach about life out here in the savanna." At that he got on all fours, waiting on her reply before moving ahead. Whether she came or not, he would be going that way on the off chance that there really was some shade. He really did need it..

Oni nodded she could never imagine or well she could but it still was hard for her. She flicked her tail then she looked at the male and then over to the tree with a little piece of shade that he was talking about..
" Hmm i can't see why not "
She smiled again and started walking towards the tree it sure was getting hot out here. In the jungle it was warm but you could always find water or shade in there. So at the hotest hours she was usually sleeping or taking a bath.
" Sure i am sure i can learn something new...if you have any questions as well please tell me "

He couldn't help but smile when she accepted his offer. It wasn't everyday he ran into another wild dog. In fact, he's run into lions, cheetahs, and leopards more often than any other species. It wasn't surprising, really, but that didn't make it any less lonely. Obi moved forward and stood beside her, pale pink eyes staring at the lone tree in the distance.
"Great," he replied, then started walking. It was pretty far off, so it'd take a while to get there. If they took their time they might lose the spot, so he turned his head to look back at Oni. "Let's hurry someone else might claim the spot if don't."

Oni followed the male...oh so they had to hurry as well? she had no idea that one single tree could be so popular maybe they should hurry then?
" Oh ok i understand...trees must be popular out here "
Oni figured out that it might take a little while so she hurried after the male so they wouldn't loose there spot they had picked out.
" So do you live close by? "
She didn't know what to ask really but she felt she had to start up a conversation.

Oni had not been traveling for that long at all it had not been many hours since she left her home in the jungle but before she left she was starring out on the savannah before she decided to go. She was curious but she also wanted to find her sister she had no idea where she was or why she had left..
" Well i haven't done much traveling before this is my first time... "
She hoped that they would found some shadow soon it was sure getting hotter and hotter.
" My home is only a few hours walk from here so it's close "
