Starting from the beginning, I've been on Depo Provera for over a year and now I can feel that it's affecting me.. 'cause I've been depressed for over a week now, and continuing. Before, it's only lasted for a few hours, or a few days... So yes, I do plan on switching birth control, but my last shot was almost 3 weeks ago and I have 9 more weeks to wait til I can switch.. Is there anything I can do to counter-act the depression? Chocolate doesn't work, same with thinking happy.. ^^';; I am going to make an appointment with my doctor to talk about it.. but I need something to do in the mean time. And I know I'd never kill myself, but I have had a few thoughts about suicide already which isn't good.. and is one of the signs of depression. ^^' Oh yeah, there's a history of it in my family.. but I'm PRETTY sure it's just the Depo causing it...

Sorry, I can't think of anything to help you in the meantime. I guess just keep yourself busy, keep your mind occupied, and let us know what your doctor says!

Excersizing helps a lot, um you could also try meditation or playing video games, writting, screaming, drawing, and if need be, counceling and medication.
