Same here, love all three, though it's been a while since I've seen Little Nemo & The Princess and the Goblin.

Thought Creep was going to be lame as heck. Brutal and terrifying film.

Thought this was going to suck. Very intelligent yet action packed film about fallen angels. Excellent movie.

One of Adrian Brody's best performances and nobody's seen it! Great movie.

Before The DarkKnight, Christian Bale starred in a very good Hitchcockian thriller. Check it out!

Better known then the others on the list (I think) a truly taunt thriller about aman addicted to killing and his attempts to thwart his blood thristy nature.

did you have any of those, they all look tremendously interesting
PostPosted: Tue Dec 30, 2008 7:18 am

Uzumaki looks interesting

Creep....so long as there is no gratuitous blood I'll chance it

I did really like Gabriel, a good twist on what could have been a standard story

The Jacket definitely looks intriguing

Saw the Machinist, very twisted, I certainly have to applaud Christian Bale for the lengths to which he will go for a role.....then smack him because loosing that much weight is not healthy for anyone.

Sadly the last pic didn't come through & now I am curious

Howl's moving castle WAS awesome as was Spirited away! (also studio Ghibli)

If you don't want the gratuitous blood stay away from creep Awen! There justification for the blood, but my there's a lot! and the last film I mentioned was Mr. Brooks. Awesome movie that makes you think. (Fixed the picture) I LOVE Donnie Darko Btw.

I own Creep Renton, My Uzumaki Dvd got destroyed ( crying ) and the others I've rented. Should buy them though...

Let's see what else? Ah! Some anime many have missed...

Paprika! Awesome movie, glorious animation.

Tekkonkinkreet. Ditto. Like watching a feature length Gorillaz video with a deeper plot.

5 Cm per second. beautiful. No war, big robots or magic, just a study in young love, and the pain of seperation. Sappy I know but you've got to be even colder then me not to be a little touched when you watch it.

What you need my memory card for? talk2hand

A couple of more obscure cinematic gems...

A grimm fairy tale, Asian cinema style. Excellent style.

Includes three different flavors of horror. Dumplings, a eww, their eating what? Horror tale, with weighty social implications. Cut, stylistic, tragedy of errors. And Box, creepy little fairy tale. All very good! (don't bother with three extremes 2, it's not nearly as good)

Everybody went and saw the (admitadly amazing) Prestige instead of this when they came out in theaters. The illisionist is an effective fairy tale about love, loss, and magic.

Now THIS was clever. Film Noir set in a modern day highschool. Witty, thought provoking, and engaging murder mystery.

More people NEED to see this movie. Set in a alternate future, where high schoolers are pitted against eachother in a battle to the death on public television to benefit a facist government. Don't worry, it's actually a lot more fun then it sounds!

Kira I like your taste in movies, for the most part wink

this was supposed to be an image of The Last Unicorn, apparently either I or photobucket is retarded xp

Love the artwork, even the music isn't bad.

No offense, Riv, but I'm moving this to the entertainment forum.
I was so surprised that you posted The Princess and the Goblin and Little Nemo, those movies were and still are some of my favorites since I saw them as a kid. heart

@Awen: Are you deleting these from your PhotoBucket account after you post them? That deletes whatever you posted elsewhere.

@Everyone: I've seen a lot of these movies, yet seemed to have still missed out on a lot. I'm making a list and renting these A.S.A.P.!
